Master Thallasa followed the group and gave up. Qamar knew this was the only way, but she didn't know they'd be knocked out. She coughed hard, finding herself knocked out rather quickly. When she woke, she found herself chained to a pillar in a dark room. Her eyes gazed at her party around her, some still knocked out. Her eyes glanced forward, catching a glimpse of the Horned King performing some kind of magic on the cauldron. Qamar attempted to summon her keyblade, but she found herself unable to do it. She even tried to use magic but that also didn't work. "Damn...we're in a pickle..." she grumbled, giving up. Better to save her energy than to use it all.
"No that won't work...she knows I'm not the type to just...um...do...that." she blushed at the idea that they'd probably lie about having sex or something. In all honesty, Eva was scared about even lying to her mother. She knew she'd find out sooner than they could make a fake breakup. Then again, this was a fun idea and Eva was hoping things would at least go well. "That is actually a really bad idea, so no, I really don't want to do that one." she said to Terry. She gave his arm a fake punch in frustration. "Got any other ideas that don't include that?" she asked.
"At least for a little while, okay?" she sighed, looking tired. "Then we can make up so fake breakup or whatever. It'll only last a little while." She assured him, not knowing if he'd be able to keep up the charade considering the way he acted. In all honestly, she was hoping this was just a passing thing and she could drop the subject with her mom completely and move on with her life. She just wanted to go to college and then get a nice job doing graphic design. Not have a boyfriend or start a family any time soon.
"Is it bad I considered this...kind of a date?" she asked. "That's what my mom did at least and I was giving you a chance, but it just feels so weird." Eva shrugged, rubbing her arm. "She keeps asking weird questions and I'm getting uncomfortable. I don't know what to do now." she sighed, looking at the ground. "It's just because we've known each other awhile and get along well. I don't get it, I really don't."
Ananta gasped, crawling out of the water and looking up at the rag-tag group of people. She looked back at the water, wondering if anyone else would appear. Apparently, somebody did, and he was swimming for them. She didn't recognize the boy, but she figured he was a part of the general's army group. Looking back at the man, she gave him a small bow. "In all honesty, sir, I'm not too sure myself. I was in one place and appeared here. I have no clue where I am, so forgive me for not being able to answer your question. My name is Ananta, however, if I may ask all of yours?" she gazed at the group, even looking at Faust, signifying him to introduce himself.
Dastgir finished taking his notes and closed the journal, putting it back in his cloak. He turned back towards the two who were leaving. They were indeed departing gifts and apparently naming a new leader. An odd thing to have just become a part of, but Dastgir wasn't too worried about it. Oh, Rydia is back, what a joy. He turned towards the girl and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, you'll get used to them." he said, removing his hand. He turned back to Joshua. "Also, I'm already wearing a black coat." he said, pulling the hood back up on his head. Wherever this Manor was, Dastgir was just ready to get out of this Realm of Darkness and back to the Realm of Light. There were quite a few things he had left unfinished. "Can I make a suggestion? Learning names once we made it to the Manor would be a good idea. I only know two of your names. I'd love to know more names...oh, add on Dawn's name, too. So three." he held up three fingers.
Qamar glanced to Aria, seeing her put her hands up to surrender. Qamar glared at the horned king and followed suit, not wanting to get them all killed. She knew she had to protect more than just herself and her group. The others were clearly not made for this kind of thing. Taran especially had no way to protect himself after giving up his sword. She sighed, shaking her head. "Yeah this is a losers game if I ever saw it." she said, looking down at the ground. Qamar hated to admit that there was nothing she could do, but she also didn't want to put her friends at risk. "Just get it over with." she begged, clenching her fists.
Well things at least got interesting. Inna stopped beside the others and crossed his arms. At this point, he was getting tired of the games. He may not have wanted this memory crystal, but at least he knew others wanted it in his party. Now that Dot was out of the picture momentarily, Inna was at a loss for what to do. He looked to Rex and then Raelynn. Raelynn spoke out first, asking the boy what he wanted out of this for the crystal. Inna shrugged and decided that he shouldn't bother with the boy since he clearly could use some kind of electric element. If this was like any other game, water and electric don't mix well. He sure didn't want to cause everyone to get electrocuted, so he stopped himself from casting any magic. "I may not want the crystal myself, but then...if this is the last one for awhile...I can't deny my party members from their right to their memories." he said. He closed his eyes a moment, thinking to himself. "But I have to say, you're probably kind of hurt by this point, huh? Maybe not a lot of HP left? Or am I wrong?" he tilted his head, still thinking. "Either way, we could probably gang up and beat you easily. I'd love to hear you talk tough when we've beaten you down." He opened his eyes, grinning.
Things seemed to just fall into place at this point. Dastgir shrugged as everything melted and a young man appeared before them, producing a hologram of some mansion place. Dastgir folded his arms and thought for a moment. He looked at the group and sighed. "Look, I don't think we ought to just go running into these things without a plan of attack. So I vote we figure out what to do now that all this has happened. Especially since we just lost two people. One who was a decent person and the other who was just a backstabber in the end." Dastgir removed his hood and rubbed his hair. The bits of sweat having now frozen, he shook his head and let the little pieces of ice fling off. That side effect was something he was beginning to hate, but what could he do about it. "And I agree with Koa, I'd love to know your name first before we get going anywhere else. I suppose you're part of this reaper's game thing, correct? If so, does that make you the head honcho of this whole organization?" he pulled his journal out. "If so, can you explain exactly what caused this to all just so happen to fall into place?" He was ready to take notes, he was just waiting for Joshua to at least answer him. If he didn't, that'd pose a problem for Dastgir, but he'd get over it. He glanced around, wondering where Rydia was at the moment. She was an odd girl, but he could at least be concerned for her safety, especially after the entire place going to hell.
It was useless to struggle. Ananta let the waters suck her beneath, closing her eyes. She opened them again, against the salty water. It didn't hurt as much as she thought it would, but perhaps that was just her Aura helping her in the end. Regardless, she gazed upon the rifts that appeared and sucked her teammates right up. She looked at the one she was turned towards and felt sad. She was going to a new world and was going at it alone for the time being. She closed her eyes again, letting the rift engulf her. Air filled her lungs as she opened her eyes. Gasping and taking deep breaths, she looked up to see rocks and darkness. Ananta sat up and found herself in an open cavern, surrounded by strange yet familiar architect. Noticing she was the first to arrive, she supposed that perhaps taking a moment to rest would be a good idea. She pulled her legs to her chest and she took that time to collect herself. She reached for her crystal necklace and pulled it out from her shirt. She gazed at it, runing her thumb over the smooth surface. "I've been through a lot, huh?" she asked herself.
Happy times followed somewhat with everyone mulling over what to do about the cauldron. Master Thallasa suggested she could destroy it, but Dolli said that wouldn't work. Qamar nodded, knowing that was the case in the fact that the witches never told a lie to them so far. Looking upon the cauldron, Qamar gazed at it. She ignored Illiana since, well, the girl was downright rude. Turning back to the group for a brief moment, a voice erupted and they were soon surrounded by troops of the Horned King. Qamar scoffed and called her keyblade, holding it at the ready. "I'd rather fight." she commented.
Eva shrugged. "I dunno, but I think I'd rather you call me Eva." she said to Terry. "Maybe we can just walk around a bit?" she asked. Eva walked in silence, hands behind her back. They walked for a bit before she stopped and turned to Terry. "So I have to say something, so don't get...um...mad?"
Qamar watched Taran offer the sword and soon the whole house was sucked away. Qamar ducked just in time to dodge a stray cauldron. She looked up to see the witches, then the earth crumbled. A large cauldron appeared on a hill, black as night. Qamar gazed upon it as the witches left them parting wisdom. They spoke of a willing, living sacrifice in order to stop the cauldron. That was something that stopped Qamar, making her look around at the others. She wasn't sure what they were going to do now. Who would sacrifice themselves for this? They had to be willing to do it, too. Qamar didn't want to die, but she knew that if it came down to it, she'd just give herself if nobody else came forward. "That's ominous..." she commented.
Ananta rolled her eyes at Aux restating he FOUND the boat. Not wanting to argue, she just followed along with the rest of the party. Everyone got on board and, after a rough start, they were off. Ananta watched the water slosh around them, reaching down and feeling the water against her hand. "Reminds me of home." she said, watching the island behind them grow smaller. This didn't last long as a storm began to brew up before dumping all over them at once. Aux tried to steer the boat back, but the engine stopped and they were basically sitting ducks. More waves crashed the boat and Ananta found herself swept overboard, falling into the ocean. She knew immediately to swim to the surface and floated there, looking around for the rest. "Is there anyone who can't swim well?!" she called out, hoping they could hear her. "If you can't, just relax and face the sky! Try to just float along and we'll help you!" she kept yelling, looking around for the rest. The water was rough, but she wasn't going to just sit here and let the others drown. Though at the moment, nobody had responded to her.
Eva put the magazine down and followed Terry out. She looked around and wasn't so sure what to do now. "Hm...what could we do now?" she asked, hearing her phone buzz. She swiped at it and read the message her mother sent, a blush taking over her face as she put the phone away. "Maybe somewhere like the park..."
Sorry about that, I mistook the numbers as player level, not stat level haha. I have 195 crowns currently. 90 will be spent to get my Magic stat to 60(+5) 105 crowns will be spent to increase my HP to 87
Qamar was certainly unimpressed by these witches, but she knew not to doubt their powers. She could respect a witch who was powerful, sure. So she let them have their fun with the group before she heard them demand for Taran's sword for the cauldron. Taran was reluctant, but Qamar saw no reason not to take the deal. She approached Taran and put a hand on his shoulder. "I know it's your first sword and it's pretty special, but there will be other swords. Believe me, it won't be your last." she assured him.
"So have I, but I don't think you really need to play those to play this." Eva chuckled, walking with him. She picked up a magazine and flipped through it, waiting for Terry to finish his transaction.
"You've never been wrong before." Eva shrugged. "I mean, you were right so many times about things that were coming out and how good or bad they'd be based on developers, reviews, and trailers." Eva put her hands behind her back. "Besides, Etrian Odyssey is a good series, so this one is gonna be really good too I think."
"Oh that's out?" Eva gasped. She opened her phone and checked her bank account, seeing it was severely lacking in funds. She made sure Terry didn't notice before she smiled sadly. "Tell me how it is, I wanted to try it, but I'd rather take the second opinion of somebody I trust."
