In the middle ages people were dragged from their homes and put on trial in front of the whole village,accused of being a witch. They were tested,either burned at the stake,drowned or hanged,if they survived any of these attempts on their lives they were a witch. No one ever survived these tests. But thats not to say witches werent there. They just were smart enough to keep hidden and pretend to be just ask shocked as everyone else.

Centuries passed and Witches never died out-they passed their powers on to their children who in turn passed it down to their children etc and they only grew stronger.Magic is drawn to places with stronger magical Auras and histories. So it would make sense that most witch families are in the town of Devil Horn,a quiet little town near the coast. Witches live peacefully here with no troubles what so ever, untill the new girl, Ariadne Noels comes into town after her mother and older brother's death to live with her father and his new family. After making a few friends in this new town things start to go wrong when Witch Hunters,who have always followed Witches come to town to wipe out all witches.

Light Witches-These witches are tied to natural things like the elements and can use their magic to control them. This is the only difference they have from Dark Witches,as both types can control everything else.

Dark Witches- These witches are tied to things like the weather,wich they can use as their main fighting power.This is the only difference they have from Light Witches.


The town was quiet as the black car drove silently through the foggy streets,Ariadne reminded herself that it was early in the mornning,very early and it was unlikely that anyone would be out and about.She was not looking forward to her next encounter with her estranged father,his new wife and two other children.She didnt want to be here...but unfortunate and unforseen circumstances had brought her to this little town where she was born.She could only hope she would grow used to it.
