When Hailey heard the announcement, she was stunned. She stood up, her eyes wide as she stared at the table. What...?! She thought.
Leah blushed and took a small step back from him. "We are all alike, aren't we...?" She asked him. "Us monsters... You know, every time your dad talks, I end up even more frightened..." She paused. "But he's right... And I've been afraid of the same thing for way too long... The same thing he's afraid of... Losing you..." She glanced at the doorway. "As he left, he said that someday I'd snap... And it'd be the death of you. He's right... More than right, actually... Vampires are alike, in every way. And this is no exception."
As they said, have a social life! And, duh, PLAY KINGDOM HEARTS!!! XD seriously, I should take my own advice >.>
Leah just looked down at the ground, not answering his question. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze.
OOC- Oh, okay. Wasn't sure what to do with Hailey, so I thought that someone had heard it somehow and it became gossip... Eh, scratch my last post... XD Hailey was in the lunchroom eating her lunch.
OOC- It's not random if you have a little boy who's obsessed with ur DS but he doesn't know how to play it right and you think he'll break it... and he's screaming in your ear constantly "How do you play this?" when he doesn't understand when you've already explained it... XDD Leah gasped softly, but sharply when George took her hand. She was pulled out of her thoughts abruptly, that's why. She gently nodded. "Yeah... okay," She said.
OOC- Okay. ty ^^ Hailey was in the lunch room when she'd heard someone say something about Michael getting into a car crash. How did this happen? When did this happen?! She was panicking and pacing back and forth in the cafeteria. Is he okay? Did he get hurt badly?
Leah just stood there, staring at the ground. She didn't say anything. She was thinking. OOC- little kids are sweet, but they can drive you INSANE!! >_<
OOC- What'd I miss?
Leah's eyes widened. Sadly enough, she could picture that.
"Mr. Strong, please wait..." Leah said, flashstepping in front of him and blocking the doorway. "I don't know what happened with that vampire, or who it was that killed your wife, but I can tell you that I have nothing to do with it. Not all vampires are monsters. Only those who choose to be, but i can assure you that I am not. Please, sir, I want to ask that you at least give me a chance. Videotape me 24/7, I don't care. Just please, don't fight with your son about this. I can prove to you that I'm not a monster like my mother. Like the vampire who killed your wife. I'm different, and I can prove it to you, but you have to give me a chance."
Hearing that last sentence, Leah's eyes widened. She walked back over to George and gently took his hand. "It's George's choice as to whether or not I stay..." Leah said, softly.
Leah had a confused look on her face. "A man...?" She said, looking down and thinking. "Still, it doesn't matter. I don't want to be the reason for you guys fighting. I can't handle it. And my mom did kill a human..."
Thank you, everyone... :)
Leah turned to face him. "How do you know?!" She asked him, tears falling down her cheeks again. "How do you know it wasn't my mother?! It was her! I'm sure of it!"
"George, just stop! You're only making this harder!" She cried. "She's my mother! A murderer! I am like her... in every way... I've always been told that. And I always will be! I'll be just like her when I grow up... There's no way to avoid it..." She walked over to the door. "Sorry, George... I didn't know..." She whispered.
Leah stood up, her eyes full of anger and hurt. She clenched her fists tightly. "There's no need..." Leah said to Mr. Strong. "Because I'm leaving this college." She wiped her tears away, a grave expression cast on her face. "I see what's happened, now... Why you're trying to protect him... And what I have yet to become. George... Mr. Strong... I apologize for my mother's foolish mistake... of killing your mother..." She bowed respectively. "But because of this act, she was hunted down by humans and killed... Though I do not grieve for her. She got what she deserved." She had her fists clenched tightly.
Leah shook her head. "You're lying!" She shouted. "They would never-..." She suddenly paused and covered her mouth, stunned. Suddenly, a scream came from her mouth and she fell to her knees, closing her eyes tightly. It is true! It is true! My mom was telling me one day about how she-... How she-... Killed somebody... She thought, shaking her head rapidly back and forth as the realization hit her. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no..." She muttered to herself, the tears still falling down her cheeks.
"Why... Why didn't you tell me?" She asked, tears falling down her cheeks. "There's no way... That can't be true..." She shook her head and took s few slow steps back, her eyes wide as tears fell down her cheeks.
Leah let go of him. "Vampires don't even have brainwashing powers!" She protested. "Besides, have you ever thought of me as something besides a monster? Maybe me and George are in love! You may not be able to accept it, but we can! Nothing will keep us apart!" Tears were falling down her cheeks and she stepped back from both of them, hurt seen very clearly in her eyes. "Call me what you want, I don't care... But let George make his own decisions." Hearing the last part, Leah's eyes widened. She hadn't been expecting that. "G-George...?" She asked, looking at him. "Is... I-Is that true...?"
