On it was an icon filled with anonymity and a voice blared out from it. Seemingly, the voice on the other end of it was the most confused here. "H-hold on! I didn't think it would work this time! I'd been trying to contact you for...Well a while! Just...just hold on!" The panicked voice clattered and clanged on the other end for a few seconds, complete with a screech of tires, a crash, and a cat meow. The screen finally flickered on to reveal a somewhat familiar face on the other end of the screen. A man with white hair and a red and blue fashion sense. Celio, obviously. It couldn't have been any other. The man cleared his throat, and began to speak once again now sounding entirely different. "Hey there, I've brought you here for a bit of an experiment." Celio said. "You're probably a bit confused, so i'll do a bit of a one time explanation. I'm the caretaker of this place, The World Record. You can call me Archive. I'm sort of a chronicler that keeps track of everything that's happened. I've uh...borrowed the appearance of one of your comrades to make you feel more comfortable, but taking the appearance of someone in your group still would just make things confusing, so i'll try to avoid that. This may not have been the best one to start with though..." Archive silently mused over something to himself. "Anyways, I need your help. You see, I'm an observer, nothing more. I see everything that happens, but all i can do is watch. I have no idea how accurate to life these recreations are. So i need brave warriors like yourselves to take up arms against them and see if they feel real. (note, not only warriors need apply). If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Well, this was a big of a pickle Beuce had gotten himself into. With ever word she added onto her sentences Beuce grew increasingly uncomfortable. He did care about her and her well-being, just maybe not in the same way she did about him. He couldn't help but wonder if this was somehow his fault. Was he leading her on by going so out of his way to help her? At the time he hadn't even considered it, but now he wasn't so sure. He'd do the same for anyone in the SOS. Well, most of them anyway. He decided that in any case, how he got here was less important than what he was going to do going forward. He obviously couldn't continue to just lead her on, but at the same time, it probably took a lot of courage to confess to him like that so he didn't want to just shut her down to harshly. "Yeah, hmm...I uh...might need a bit to return with your answer to that."
Beuce wasn't sure what he had been expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. He just stared at her silently for a moment, looking up and down as though to make sure it was still the same Karina that he was talking to and not some dubious impostor sent by No Heart to infiltrate the group. After thoroughly deciding that she was indeed the genuine article, he sighed. "Love, huh? Well lets see...I've only ever been in one such relationship and she's dead. So, I can't exactly say i'm an expert on the subject." He said, scratching the back of his head and trying to collect his thoughts. "I guess i'd say...try not to overthink it? I know that this might sound a little stupid, but love, at least the emotion, isn't very complicated. How you interact with that person might be, sure, but the feeling itself is pure and simple." He put a finger on the girl's chest momentarily. "It's in here. You get so caught up in wondering if that's really what it is you're feeling or not that you end up creating doubt. Instead, just go with what you're feeling. What do you want to do with that person. The first person you think of when you feel happy, and want to share it with them. Deep down, you already know what love feels like. You always did. Your head just won't let you believe it." Beuce sighed. "Or something like that. I dunno. That's what it was like in my experience."
Beuce shouted out to the ship, but it didn't seem like they really heard him. He did hear a few familiar voices though, so that was good. At least he knew they were alright. It had been a while since they were all together. They'd all made it to this world to meet up with Shiro, who they hadn't seen since the Island where they were attacked. This was finally the start of where their counterattack would begin. Before he could really do anything else though, a strong force pulled his arm back behind him. As he turned, he realized Karina had it in a death clutch. Thankfully it was his glass arm, or else he might've needed a second one of those. "Need to talk, do we? Alright. Lead the way." The wielder regained his footing and walked alongside her. Once they were in a properly secluded area, he leaned against the wall and gave a look to the woman who had drug him out here. "So, good to see you too. What can I do you for? I imagine this was more than to ask me what my favorite color was." He listened intently for what she was about to say. "It's purple, by the way."
Beuce raised an eyebrow at Balthier. The moment he'd handed the compass over, a portal opened up and whisked them immediately to their destination. If they'd waited a few minutes, they could've kept the compass. He sighed in acceptance. They were here, at least. "I can't help but feel a little cheated, but it can't be helped. Have fun with the compass. I hope Fran isn't too upset." Beuce said before disembarking from the ship. "Come on, we need to see if the others are around." It seemed like they had the option of either going to the tournament grounds or exploring the nearby town for the moment. Well, at least that was the case until he spotted another ship. An apparently flying pirate ship, no less. Well, if that wasn't suspicious, he didn't have a glass arm. "Hey, anyone up there?" Beuce called out as he walked over.

Well, they had successfully defeated the sea themed undead pirates and commandeered the ship, and were now sailing to wherever Jack was. Luna and Marx had a bit of a verbal scuffle, but Beuce didn't see it as wise to get involved. Not long after, they were stopped by a man with a gun pointed at them, accusing them of being pirates. Beuce remained on his guard around the man, as he seemed fairly confident. If he believed he could take on the four of them by himself, he was either grossly overconfident in his own abilities, or they would be in for a fight if it came to it. Beuce sighed as Marx gave Balthier his story. "When you're telling a stranger about our activities, even if it's the truth, you need to remember that it'll probably sound like a lie. And when part of it is a lie, you don't want your story to sound like a lie." Beuce said to the blindfolded man with a shake of his head. "Anyways, yeah we've seen him. We had a bit of a deal with him to protect him from some unruly folk after him. He double crossed us, so we're going after him." He even offered to pay them, yet Steel said they weren't interested in Munny. "Well now hold on a second. We're not ones to look a gift horse in the mouth. 10,000 munny a piece would be more than ample payment for our assistance in capturing Jack Sparrow." Beuce said, stepping to the front of the group. "Lord knows we need it...That damn moogle's prices are nothing short of highway robbery..." Beuce muttered angrily to himself. "Anyway, he's probably in a bit of a sticky situation right now, so if you want to capture him, we should probably get going."
Beuce could scarcely believe his eyes. The a man standing in an excellent ingredient finding spot was a familiar face. A man with several arms now had Luna in tow. The man called out to him specifically, excitedly claiming he was a cameo. Of course he remembered Gilgamesh! He was the best final fantasy cameo! Beuce walked calmly over to him and tapped him on the forearm of one of his lower arms and waved his hand to come closer. The giant curiously obliged, leaning in to hear Beuce's whisper. "Gil, buddy. It's good to see you get more screentime. I always knew you had what it took to be a main character. Though, I just wanted to tell you I don't really do the fourth wall schtick much anymore. I had like a whole character arc and everything and now I have like a personality beyond lolsorandom. It's a real sweet gig. But yeah, just wanted you to know that i'll be laughing on the inside. Also Hail Hydra" Beuce walked back to the rest of the group and cleared his throat before turning around to face the many armed swordsman. "What happened to you after Camelot? You didn't go back to your old tricks did you? I thought once Nequa went too far, you turned over a new leaf."
Beuce looked at the newcomer very curiously, and then to the Island he pointed out. "How the..." Squinting at the blindfold, Beuce waved his hand in front of the man's face to see if there was any reaction. Once they reach land, Luna trotted off to get more setting appropriate clothing. Upon her return, Beuce raised an eyebrow and gave an impressed whistle. "Man, you should consider being a pirate full time. That's a great look for you." Not long after, some drunk approached them and started eyeing his keyblade. Well...That was odd. He didn't have many people recognize it on sight, but apparently there had been a keyblade wielder named "Sorrin" that was here a while ago, along with a dog and a duck. Maybe the dog was the one he knew...? There surely couldn't have been that many, and Goofy did know about the keyblade. "Well, you see, we're actually trying to get somewhere." Beuce watched blankly as the man tried to show the shoddiness of their vessel, finally managing to snap the mast. "It's true that we are in need of a ship. But it seems like you're in need of us just as much." Beuce approached the man and rested the keyblade on his shoulder. "It seems you're a lucky man mister Sparrow. These are good for more than just opening locks, as i'm sure you know. I'll tell you what, give us that compass, and we'll open your box for you. In our generosity as vast as the sea, we'll even throw in protection from the 'little beastie'. No extra charge. " Beuce extended his hand for a deal-sealing shake. "Savvy?"
As they were violently ejected from the whale, Beuce had hit his head against the edge of the boat immediately faded from consciousness. He didn't know how much time had passed, but it couldn't have been more than a day or so. He hadn't starved in his sleep. He briefly noted something warm next to him. Maybe one of the others? He wasn't in quite conscious enough of a state to really pay much mind to it until he felt himself falling. Now sometimes your body does a sort of fake fall thing that wakes you up, but no he was literally falling. Off the boat, in fact. The cold and salty water splashed against his face and jolted him awake as he swam to stabilize himself and float. He looked over to see Luna apologizing "It's okay...A little potential drowning never hurt anyone i guess." As she helped him back onto the boat, she handed him back Ursula's crown. "Oh, right. Thanks. I'll be honest i forgot i gave you that." Beuce didn't really give off feelings of ill-will toward Luna. Instead he just sighed and looked down at his soaked attire. "Ah well. I guess i'll get changed." Beuce removed his cape and summoned his keyblade, whistling all the while. With the piece of fabric spread as wide as he could get it, he tied the corners to ends of his particularly long keyblade and held it in the air. With a cast of the gravity spell, it began to simply float regardless of his holding it. He slowly released his grip and watched it for a moment to ensure that it stayed in place. Now behind a makeshift curtain, Beuce set to find a dry set of clothing from his extra-dimensional pockets. Thankfully the water had more or less neglected to flood into the entrances of his pockets. As he changed his outfit into the dry versions, he spoke to Luna through the "curtain" he'd created. "So do you have any idea where we are? It seems like we're in another world with an ocean, though this one looks a bit more dim than the others." Sorting through his pockets, he found a few possible outfits. First there was his formal attire. That didn't seem particularly fitting for the setting of the world, and would make him stick out quite a lot. Next was his old coat that he'd worn around the group for a while. This wouldn't be bad, but wasn't exactly an outfit. Finally, he came across an outfit that seemed suitable for their current environment and donned it. Dismissing his keyblade and pocketing the cape, he looked to the others on the boat. It seemed there was Steel, and the man he didn't know. He assumed it was one someone else had picked up, much like they'd done with Faust. With his newly dry clothing, Beuce sat down on the boat across from Luna. "So what now? We need to find our way to Olympus, but it's not like we can just ask for directions."
