"I had to fight quite a few once Moluk started going downhill. And maybe before that, but still I've fought them. This one seems easy enough.." she tapped her selection and headed inside with Lumen. Taking a look around, the place seemed pretty normal so far. Then again, maybe the simulation hadn't started up yet. "We're ready." She stated, wondering if that's how things worked.

Her eyes moved to Lumen and nodded.
"It probably won't hurt as bad as the real thing, but it'll definitely feel real sometimes. I'll do damage, but I'll try not to get hurt too much. I'll keep an eye out for you, okay? If things get too crazy, say something." She gave a slight thumbs up.

"You....you both know I only used the magic at the end right? So I wouldn't hurt myself?" She gave them both a head tilt. Looking around, she wondered where Rourke could be. Everyone was ready to kick his butt. "Besides, whenever I'm not in battle, I just use the magic stored in my crystal. Dunno why I can't in battle...something blocks it." She mumbled that last part with a shrug. "Ignis, can you not abuse poor Faust? It'll be all your faulst if he passes out later.""

Ananta clenched her fists after hearing what Rourke did to the King. "A monster...he's a monster." she said. As she looked upon the King, she could tell he wasn't long for the world. There was nothing she could do to try and heal him, even her own abilities would not be sufficient to save him. Begging them to protect Atlantis, she nodded with wet cheeks. Rubbing her hands on her eyes, she looked to see the others jump down a hole. Ananta heard Faust and Ignis tease each other and she chuckled.

Staring at the hole, she nodded to herself and decided to be dramatic. She turned around and gave a small salute to the people in the room and fell backwards. The hole was deep, but she knew she needed to stop her descent. So she wouldn't get hurt, of course. Plummeting down, she waved her hands and an Aeroga spell surrounded her and cushioned her enough. She landed on her feet lightly and saw how Faust landed. "See, that's not how you do it, you gotta use wind magic to stop yourself." she said.

I'm equipped Stopga, Drain, and Trinity Limit

Spending 50 crowns to increase my MP, 60 crowns to increase Magic

At least he wasn't afraid to admit the song was rather dark. The thought of Lumen being a dark brooding person reminded her of Torrin and she couldn't help but try to imagine them brooding in a corner somewhere. The fact that it reminded him of hard times he faced after losing his mother, made Qamar feel immensely bad for the boy. "Never letting go of light while accepting darkness..." she repeated to herself. He offered to sing a more cheerful song and Qamar brightened up. "Yes, I'd love that." she said, clapping her hands together. By now, Kosmo was still nudging her head against Qamar. It reminded her of a cat she found back on Moluk a long time ago. Such a sweet kitty, she missed it a little.

Lumen continued on to explain his stance on those with darkness. Darkness wasn't so scary to Qamar, but she knew not to just use it willy nilly...though she was working on being able to control it, that's for sure. It was true that born from the Realm of Darkness would be killed, though she was at ease knowing he wasn't super against darkness. The boy sure was all about freedom, too, from what she could tell. Kosmo finally jumped from Qamar to Lumen once more as he asked her where they were heading. "Mirage Arena, Master Aster is probably busy right now, but you can talk to her later. She'll probably be getting harassed by Master Atmos or something." she shrugged. "Oh right, don't look so down, it's honestly not that a good a look ya. Smiles on a bard work better anyway." she gave Lumen a good pat on the shoulder as they walked to the simulation room.

Once there, she saw Kidemonas and Thyella watching the students on monitors. "Hey, I managed to round up the straggler. I know I said I wanted to be first, but uh, guess that didn't hold true, huh?" she made a light chuckled. She gave both Masters a bow and looked around. "So let's see...I guess green is a go and red means occupied, right?" she asked, walking towards a door that was still empty. She tapped on the panel and glanced at what was on the screens. "Wanna try out this one? It says Demon Hunter, looks easy enough..." she commented, glancing at Lumen.

Freedom. Freedom was something Qamar was thankful for, that's for sure. Lumen made things out to be as if he was never given any freedom back on his world. Though he mentioned he was a freelancer and that changed her mind. Apparently he was always free, but being here now, being told he had to go to a room and train in some kind of simulation, that must have been quite scary to think about. Maybe he's claustrophobic, Qamar didn't know, she could only guess that he was. Lumen walked to a ledge and looked off, leaving Qamar with a puzzled look on her face. He turned and lifted his head, continuing. Apparently he thought this simulation was going to just, make him get confused and forget he was in a simulation and he'd be stuck forever wondering what was real and what wasn't. Qamar tilted her head, confused. "But the simulations won't do th-" she was interrupted by his impromptu lute playing and singing.

The song was remarkably dark considering Lumen's personality thus far. It took Qamar by surprise and she looked to the side. Maybe he knew she used darkness, but she didn't want him to get scared of her. She decided to tread on this matter carefully. Though he did give her a smile as she looked back at him, causing a light blush to come across her face. "W-Well, it was certainly darker than I imagined. It really doesn't match your personality, Lumen. But, it is quite beautiful, regardless of it." she smiled a little back, reaching up and giving Kosmo a pet. "Though I've been wondering something, Lumen, and this'll be my last question before we go to the simulation rooms...what's your stance on darkness anyway? I've been kind of curious myself. I figured I'd let you know that Boreas and Torrin hail from the Realm of Darkness, though you wouldn't be able to tell from first glance...sorry if that's a little too much information on them." she left out the part about her and Enzo since she didn't want him to dislike her and also she didn't think he met Enzo yet anyway.

Qamar was thankful he didn't ask any more questions of Orphic Coast. Now wasn't the time to be letting off what kind of world it was, after all. Relaxing her arms, she put them behind her back and swayed a little, listening to Lumen. For a moment, they stood in silence, with Qamar gazing off into the horizon. She was brought back to reality when Kosmo patted her head with her tail. Qamar scrunched her face and looked up at the dragon. "What?" She asked, seeing Kosmo jerk her head towards Lumen. Looking over, she noticed the boy looked sad all of a sudden. A frown crept across Qamars face as her hand patted his shoulder. "Hey, sorry for making things grim. Though I get the feeling you're making that face for another reason, hm?" She asked, removing her hand. It also helped that Kosmo made her notice him.

That's right. Nobody should ever go through that, but it still happens. Thankfully she left out the gruesome part, but Qamar was still not sure if she had truly killed that man. She ran away and simply left him for dead. Shaking her head, she looked at Lumen and was asked where she was from. "Oh, right um..." she wasn't too sure how to put it since she doesn't remember Orphic Coast that much. "Well, it was almost always dark. But we could see in this darkness, so it didn't bother us that much. I remember a castle. The Night Sovereign probably lives there. Uh....my mother is buried in the town cemetery. My real father is somewhere on that world. There was a nice lady who would give me pie all the time..." she scratched her head. "Sorry, I never left my house except to do what I was told, and that was a long time ago. So I don't remember my world anymore."

Eventually, Kosmo was on Qamars head as Lumen asked about Master Aster. "Adalric was her previous student. He was killed by a student of the Light Chaser. She's still mourning but she's a wonderful woman."

Qamar listened carefully to Lumen desribe his world. To think it had such a system that it could teleport away from dangers. "That sounds quite useful." she said, blinking in surprise. Lumen continued on to describe his upbringing. How he came to meet his Master Sanda and how he had lost his own Mother when he was young. Qamar remembered her own Mother and started to feel sadness.

He apologized for drowining her with his story, but she shook her head. "No no, that's fine. It's interesting to know where your teammates come from. I hope you don't mind my exposition?" she started, stepping in front of him at the front door. "Sorry, I think it's fair to drown you in my own story." she smirked.

Qamar cleared her throat and began. "I don't know my birth father. My mother was kidnapped during her last few months of pregnancy with me. The man who fed and raised me claimed to be my father while keeping me locked away. My mother died when I was young. Poisoned, I think, but I can't be a hundred percent sure. All I know is that my father would give her things that I wasn't allowed to have. For a few years after that, my father began to train me to fight and made me go on 'secret' missions. I eventually fought back against him and...I managed to escape. That was when my Master, her name was Raka, had took me in. I'd say a few months later I was sent to the Council as the world we were on was destroyed. That was nearly 6 years ago now." she chuckled. "They taught me a lot and helped me grow. I love all of them." She looked to Lumen. "To be honest, I think Master Aster would be a good choice for you...she lost a student recently...so maybe you can help her. That's really the only Master I can think of that's good for you." she shrugged.

Qamar has a big smile on her face when he mentioned there being no way to change her mind. She shook her head. "Nope, I'm pretty much stuck in help mode with you now. Kidding, kidding." She assured him. He then took her hand and she used that as an opportunity to help him up to his feet. Putting a hand around Kosmo, she carefully held the dragon in her hands and gave her a little kiss on the snout before setting get back on her shoulder.

"I'm sure Kosmo agrees with all of this." Qamar smiled. Glancing back to the castle. "If it helps, know how you feel about losing that world. Losing your Master. It's a pain that doesn't heal easily." She started, putting her hand on her chest. "It took me a few years, but every Master here has helped me more than enough. I owe them my life. I love all of them. I'm sure they'll take care of you as well." She said, leading Lumen along towards the castle again. "What was your Master like? If you don't mind me asking that is..."

Frowning to herself, Ananta just listened along and didn't bother getting into any stance once Laguna showed back up. Her teammates had informed him they were betrayed by Rourke, so Laguna lowered his weapon. That was good, because she'd hate to have to hurt him. She liked the guy, he was funny and cool. Glancing to Ignis, Ananta tilted her head. "Well, we just retrace our steps. Get out of this place, go back to the city, and get into the center of the city. Or Laguna can lead us." she glanced to the man.

Laguna blinked, scratching his head. "So you guys don't remember? I'll take you there! Don't worry, I never get lost!" he had a bright smile on his face. Turning around, Laguna began to lead the group, taking them back through the greenery. "We're almost there, I think." he muttered, glancing around.

"I've got a bad feeling..." Ananta muttered.

Qamar chuckled when Kosmo crawled up her arm and purred against her head. "Kosmo, huh?" she smiled, scritching Kosmo's head a little. "Well, I've only ever seen dragons in books before Flammie helped us back in our last world. So this is really my second time experiencing a dragon." she looked to Lumen. He asked for her name while trying to play his lute. "My name is Qamar Zalam. I suppose i should say it's nice to meet you again. And uh, don't let Torrin and his brash behaviors get to you. It's just, previously, Chrys was a student of the Light Chaser as you know. And we've only really had bad experiences with her before. A few of our numbers have had bad experiences with the students..." Qamar glanced at the wooden sword Lumen had used. "We lost a few of our own because of them. But at the same time, he has also lost two students, so to speak, so in the end, he is down a student and we have more. Unfortunately, they are 'Masters' too, but that title was a sham in my opinion." she shrugged and glanced around the training grounds.

"I'll have to say, though, that using the Mirage Arena is a better option for you. You need to know what exactly we've been against thus far. Training by yourself will only go so far." she moved to stand in front of Lumen. "I didn't get strong and muscley just from training by myself. I had every Master here as well as my fellow student help me. We all grew together and faced every challenge we had together. We helped each other overcome fears and grow. So, let me help you Lumen. I know the idea of fighting past dangers is scary, but I'll help you." she reached a hand out. "Of course, if you want to take a moment to think, I'll be here, watching you train against our dummies." she chuckled.

Qamar waited outside the room, leaning against the wall. She didn't want to hear something she wasn't meant to hear, so she simply waited. Lumen came out and made his way out. So, Qamar followed along, wondering where he was going. He lead her to the training grounds outside. Qamar kind of stood a bit off to the side, seeing how relaxed Lumen seemed. Walking slowly, she just watched him and ended up leaning against the weapons rack. She glanced at Kosmo, giving the dragon a smile. "Well hey there new guy. What's up?" she tilted her head. "Why'd you go and run off from the Mirage Arena? They worked so hard on it."

Glancing back to Kosmo, Qamar reached her hand out, offering it to Kosmo to smell. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you're Lumen?" she asked the boy. "This dragon is cute. She's beautiful!" Qamar gave Kosmo a small scritch on her chin, trying not to touch her too much.

Lumen seemed so shocked when he learned that Torrin was a Master that Qamar couldn't help but chuckle. She gave him a light pat on the shoulder before Master Selene entered and ushered them to the meeting room. As they all filed in, Qamar stood towards the center and gave a bow to the Masters. She noticed the missing Masters, thought Gero did give the reason why. As each Master got their own time, Qamar listened carefully, they mentioned Masters who have been taken out, but her own Master's name was missing. That made her sad, but she now knew the names of the newcomers...well, sort of, she didn't know which was which. Chrys was cleared of any kind of suspicion from Qamar, but she was still uneasy. She was fearing for the girl in the fact that Torrin and Boreas both reacted drastically against the girl. Which was something to be expected all things considered, so she didn't blame them. Qamar heard the names of previous Council members and she suddenly grew sad. She remembered hearing their names sometimes and some stories, so to hear that they've been slain came as a shock.

For awhile, Qamar listened and didn't even think of what was being told to her. She just listened and paid close attention to the Masters. Selene's remark caused a smile to come upon Qamar's face, especially when Kidemonas just sort of muttered. Thyella mentioned armors and Qamar got excited. She really did want her own armor, like Boreas', but she didn't really speak out loud. Then Kidemonas outed Torrin being a royal, so Qamar glanced about a little, seeing as Gero asked for opinions. Tinarah spoke first, asking who would be training them. That was a silly question, of course it'd probably be Thyella or Kaio...to which Qamar was correct in guessing. The other options they had were explained and Qamar glanced at Gero. She heard Kal protest against just standing around and that made Qamar clench her fists. How stupid can Kal be? He just lost his Master, clearly he wasn't strong enough to support them, so clearly he needs to train more. The fact that Gero needed someone of darkness made Qamar think, though. Perhaps they needed to ally themselves with the Realm of Darkness. Or maybe, she'd have to figure something else out. Maybe a sacrifice? Whatever the reason, Qamar knew they had to think of something while they trained. Kaio directed towards Kal that he was not alone in losing people he cared about, which made Qamar stare at the ground. Tinarah sounded a lot nicer now, so that made her happier. Qamar glanced around at those speaking, wondering how she'd interject.

Thyella called Kidemonas soft and Qamar scratched her cheek. She knew for a fact he was rather soft, but that was what she liked about him. Though he was mean a lot of times as well. Gero mentioned that those from the Realm of Darkness simply did not contain enough darkness within them for what they needed. A heart of pure darkness...that was what they needed. If push came to shove, Qamar wondered if one of them could be used to create this heart of pure darkness. The meeting was soon over and Qamar sighed loudly. She gave another bow, standing straight once more. How badly did she want to call out all of them for not even giving a bow? Very badly. "Next time, everyone, I suggest bowing to Masters." she said, shaking her head. Everyone began to follow Kidemonas, but Qamar noticed Lumen run off on his own. Curious, Qamar trailed behind, staying quiet. He ended up finding Gero, so she stayed far enough away to hopefully not be noticed. She felt bad for Lumen and figured he needed somebody to speak to, especially after what happened to him. She wanted to help him, but she had to wait for him to be free, first.

Qamar giggled when Kidemonas got flustered. She was only teasing, but the way he was putting it, she couldn't help but mess with him. "No, no, you're not. You're far too naive." she teased yet again. He urged her to leave and threatened to turn her keyblade into a mop. "Last time you did that, I got Master Thyella to change it back." she waved. "And thanks for not getting mad when I dropped the title." she bowed, leaving the room. She ended up finding Kal, Lumen, Torrin, and Chrys. She crossed her arms and watched Torrin summon his keyblade while Lumen stood between the two. Qamar raised an eyebrow, glancing between the trio.

"I commend you for trying to jump between Chrys and Master Torrin.." she smirked at Torrin. "Sorry, I had to. Anyway, I commend you for this, but I don't suggest you continue new guy." she said, casually walking up and standing beside the group. "Torrin, Chrys is protected by the Council. Don't try anything stupid." she shrugged. "Even I'm acting civil and you know why I hate the Light Chaser and his students."

"Impulsive is not....that's not the word. I am not impulsive!" she retorted, standing back up. She wandered over and stood next to Kide, staring at the screen. "I don't know their names." she said when he asked what two students. He mentioned how more worlds have disappeared and Qamar stared at the screen, lost in thought. More worlds were being lost....that meant they had a lot of work to do. A meeting was what Qamar had been waiting for ever since they got back. It was something she expected to happen, but it hadn't happened yet.

Kidemonas went on to explain what the communicators had been used for. "Er...Master, did you have to listen to everyone's communications through them? Like...when I told Master Aster about Adalric?" she asked, looking a little irked. "That sounds kind of like an invasion of privacy. Like, did you hear the conversations Aria had and other...stuff?" she looked a little embarrassed. "That's really gross, Kidemonas...I...I mean Master." she backed up, covering her mouth. "Sorry..."

Dastgir gazed upon the mansion, furiously writing in his journal. Dawn suggested they split up, to which Dastgir nodded in agreement. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea. We meet back here in the foyer so long as we do not get discovered. No engaging in enemies, we simply ignore them and try to find an alternate route. That means not everyone needs to fight, Finlay." Dastgir chuckled. "I jest. In any case, how shall we split up?" he asked. He was previously stuck with Rydia, so he was not ready to be stuck with her once more. Especially since she was adamant of just kind of being there, using them to get out.

Castur mentioned calling her something over than Ananta. One was ridiculous, but the other... "Hey, Anta was my Grandmother's name, have some respect!" she teased Castur, finally knocking the guard in front of her out. Her party members were doing pretty well for themselves. It was obvious that Castur was a little miffed at the fact they couldn't outright kill these guys. While Ananta wanted to deal with these men straight out, she knew they were only following orders and not exactly acting of their own free will. She honestly felt pretty sorry for some of these guys. Who knew what their stories were and why they all had to be here. Money, family, some kind of sense of justice, or maybe even boredom. For all she knew, they just did this as a job and that's all they ever knew. Either way, she wasn't too into the idea of killing them just because they didn't agree with what they were lead to believe. The same could be said for them, as she thought about it. They were being strung along just as much as these men, with people trying to kill them left and right. So really, what does that say? Doesn't that make this whole situation ironic? Ananta shook her head and came back to reality with the sound of a Thundaga going off. At this point, Ananta sighed and lowered both her keyblades.

"Well, since Faust is doing it...I may as well go ahead and do the same." Ananta looked at Castur. "Screw just knocking them out. They have guns, what's the fairness in that?" she sighed. Ananta glanced at a small group of enemies. Four soldiers, trying to watch each others' backs. One of them noticed her looking at them and started to nudge and talk to his buddies. One of them laughed, but Ananta didn't care. She'd been through a long journey and knew for a fact that words and jeers only hurt those who wanted them to hurt. She learned to accept many things she couldn't change. She just hoped she could at least fix things that she had messed up. Shaking those thoughts aside, Ananta raised her hands above her head, focusing magic in her hands. A strong gravitational force was sparking above the group of soldiers. One of them glanced up and saw the magic, but it was too late. Ananta already swung her arms down, doing a small jump to really give her Graviga some force. The soldiers all screamed in agony as every bone in their bodies were crushed by the force of the magic.

The screams only lasted a few moments, as each of them fell silent. Sobs and whispers could be heard from one of them, but he too ended up fading away. Ananta turned around and saw Castur using a gun to deal with a soldier, but she wasn't done yet. She wanted to make sure her point got across. Rushing over, Ananta stopped shortly of the soldier and delivered a kick to the man's side, injuring him.

Kidemonas kind of talked to himself about the program. Qamar wished she could understand it as well as he did, only so she could help him do something. He mentioned how she became more comfortable around the other Masters, but she didn't change much otherwise. "Hey, I did change." she pouted. "I'd like to think I'm more outspoken now, thank you. Don't forget, I almost always ran away from Master Kaio at the start. Then I started to talk back to him, haha." she smiled.

He wanted her to be more patient. Patience was something she had, but knowing that this project was almost ready, her patience was getting lower and lower in anticipation. He was going to tell the Council and then everyone could use it. He even made a quip about Qamar-proofing it. "Sorry I ruined my chances years ago when I ruined your other machine." she retorted with a light chuckle. "It's not my fault you passed out and didn't tell me how to work it." she turned her face away and stared at...the wall or something.

Something popped up into her head and she just wanted to know. "Those two students...are they like me? I mean, they're only here because..they lost their old Masters?" she asked, hoping that wasn't the case. "I hate to think that is what's going on, but to think that the Light Chaser would go and do such a tremendous amount of damage...he's worse than some of the bad guys I've met on my journey. Which, by the way, if you need more data, I can happily provide it. Seeing as I was there for almost everything major...except for whatever happened in Heroic Sanction." she nodded.

"Oh and if you manage to get a Dentro simulation, please let me know so I can kick his ass." she nodded.

"I dunno, if we were able to even go there in the first place..." Qamar started, biting her sandwich. She thought for a moment and shrugged. "Maybe there's a way to go back."

Kidemonas mentioned what the project was and Qamar looked excited. "A training room? That sounds awesome. And uh, yeah, Master Gero is kind of scary. Not as scary as Kaio when he lost a battle." she joked, sipping her hot chocolate. "Try this hot chocolate, it's really good. Aria made it." she said.

Qamar finished her food and sat there, watching Kidemonas. "If you don't mind, I'm just gonna stick around here and be in your hair while you finish. It's...been awhile since I did this, anyway." she smiled. For awhile, Qamar just sat there, watching Kidemonas, but she did finally pipe up. "Remember when I first came to the council? I only really talked to you, Master Stamatis, and Master Aster. Though I did always hang out wherever you were so long as it wasn't super top secret." she said, leaning back in her chair. "I kind of miss those times, you know? Much simpler those days..." she sighed. Blinking, she remembered something. "And I"m trying this simulator out first!"
