Qamar had gotten used to this darkness, so she didn't quite mind. Though her father did make a small light. Qamar shrugged at this and glanced around the room, seeing how it was basically a hole to survive in if the time ever came. He handed them water and she sipped hers slowly. He finally answered her and Qamar stared at the ground. "She...she died when I was little...I think maybe 7 or so? My memories are a little hazy...but I do know that once I got older, I found a diary. The man who kidnapped her and raised me to believe I was his daughter...his name was Ravana Schifer. He poisoned Mother. He had a diary that I discovered shortly before I took his life away." Qamar looked up to Somna. "But not before she performed the keyblade inheritance ceremony on me. She...she even gave me...." Qamar held her hand up and held a different keyblade than the one she had from her old Master. "I don't want to use it...but, I promised myself that I'd put it in the graveyard. Where her headstone is, I want to place it there. Like the many others. Like all keyblade wielders, her body and heart are gone, but I hope you can give her a headstone soon." Qamar handed the keyblade to her father. "I don't know how much you know about keyblades, but she made it seem like you knew about them at the very least....right?" Qamar stepped back and stood next to Lumen. "I won't end up like her, I won't leave you. I promise." she bowed to her father.
Well at least they were told the name of the pirate captain. Of course things didn't work out so well and soon enough, they were rescued by a group of kids and taken away from Hook. Soon, they were introduced to the kids and a peculiar fairy. They were asked who they were and Ananta was about to speak when AJ gave the worst reply ever. Ananta frowned. "Sorry, he's not good at talking to people clearly. No manners." she waved her hand. "Anyway, he's AJ, I'm Ananta, that's Faust, she's Kaida, and he's Stratos...nice to meetcha." she smiled. Looking at Tink, Ananta gave a small bow. "Miss Tinker Bell, it's nice to meet a real fairy! So pretty." she gave a grin and turned back to Peter Pan when AJ asked about that treasure. "Yeah uh, that treasure thing....what's it like?"
Qamar heard her name from him and she felt tears in her eyes, staring at him and nodding. "Y...Yes, it's me. Mother always said you'd named me..." she spoke, hearing him get interrupted by the impending storms. Soon, they were ushered to a basement as bells rang and people ran from the streets. Qamar was very confused, but she was sure this was the right thing to do. Though hearing he had given up his post was rather disturbing. Heading down the basement, Qamar stood beside Lumen and glanced to her father. "Father, I have to ask...do you know what happened to mother at all?" she asked, looking around as the ground continued to rumble.
Qamar looked off to see clouds beginning to roll in. The man spoke and answered her questions, causing Qamar to look at him closer. He was the man they were looking for. He was Somna Zalam. Her heart skipped a beat and she just wanted to give him a hug right then and there, but she needed to compose herself. Itd be awkward to do that, for sure, so she nodded at him. "No, we don't live nearby. Actually, the place we're staying at is quite a bit away. We'd be grateful to have shelter from this storm." She gave a small bow to him. When he took them to the house, Qamar waited until they were inside before she cleared her throat. "Somna Zalam, right? The man that lost his very pregnant wife many years ago?" She started off. "You look a little older than I was lead to believe, but you are in your forties, right? Remember this dagger?" She asked as she removed the hilt from her hip and held it up. She then held the picture up she carried. "I was only 12 and I stole this from you. I was younger than that when I lost her...what I'm getting at is that I think you're my father. I heard so many stories from my mother....I don't know...if this is enough to prove it...." Qamar looked down, wondering what he would say.
Ananta looked to her teammates and the copious amount of knocked out pirates. Before long, a fellow in a red coat appeared and informed them that apparently they're under a curse. Of course he knew what keyblade were. Tilting her head, Ananta looked at the captain. "And just who are you and how do you know about the keyblade?" She asked in her childish voice. It was certainly higher pitched than before, but she hadn't noticed. So she kind of put a hand to her lips and frowned.
Qamar turned upon hearing a man behind them asking who they are. Lumen gave half the answer she was going to give, so she nodded. "Right, I'm looking for the owner of this house. His name is Somna Zalam...I think." She said, not confident that that was really his name after all. It could have just been a fake name, after all. Though, she knew deep down, it had to be his real name. Glancing towards the house, she spied a curious woman peeking from the house next door. Though the woman quickly disappeared back into her house before long. Qamar turned back to the man and cleared her throat. "If it helps, or if you know him, it's very important I speak to him." She informed.
Qamar didn't really talk much as they walked. She did scratch her head when Lumen told her she didn't have to pull his scarf. "Last time I tried to get your attention, you didn't move." She responded. As they walked, they passed by countless houses. Qamar was trying to be quick with her walking, she didn't want to waste time after all. Though she was nervous about what she'd say to the man if he really was her father. Though she did have three rather compelling things to show him. Were they enough to convince the man? She hoped so. As they walked through the gate to the Northern Territory, she turned to Lumen. "I've never really been over here...just one time and that was to steal this." She put her hand on the dagger strapped to her waist. "But I do know we just need to find a mansion...he is a Captain after all. He's gotta have the big house." She said as they walked. Qamar stopped and pulled out the paper in her pocket and read the address. They soon made it to the house and she looked up at it, gulping. "We're here Lumen..." she said in a scared voice. The house was two stories and looked to be in pristine condition. It was on a small hill with a front yard full of plants. The house was white, compared to the similar ones nearby. It's roof was a dark brown shingled roof. It had a gate out front with a small call box to be let in. This was a feature shared with only a few other houses. Qamar stepped towards the box and pressed a button on it, hoping there'd be an answer.
Hearing about her own world caused Qamar to frown and stare at this Quinna. Clearly there was something going on between the Council and King Joch, but she really didn't seem all that perturbed about it. Turning, Qamar left the group after Torrin suggested she could probably go find her father. Qamar didn't need to be told twice, but she did peruse the library for a map of the world. She found one and glanced over it. She saw the place, but where would his house be? Qamar found a map of the territory and read to see if maybe there was a listing. She ended up finding his name, at least, so she sighed. "Somna Zalam...why did he take my mother's last name...?" She wondered to herself. Closing the book and map, Qamar returned to the entryway and saw Aria head off and Torrin drag Enzo away. Qamar looked at Lumen and gave a smile. "Guess it's just you and me. Let's go, partner." She said, tugging at his scarf and walking with him. She lead him in the direction they needed to go and she looked to him. "How's things going for you so far?" She asked.
Ananta wasn't sure what was going on and why they suddenly were young. Kaida did t really respond to her, but the way the pirates were acting scared Ananta. Stepping back,, she bumped into Stratos and looked in front of her. Gulping, she summoned her keyblade and shot off a Thundaga at a pirate. She watched him yelp and fall to the floor. Another pirate ran at her and swung his sword at her. Ananta was able to block it, luckily, and she kicked the pirate in the groin. She finished with another Thundaga on this pirate. Two more came at her, but Ananta was prepared. She held both her keyblade and spun around, slashing the pirates. They stumbled back and were finished off with another Thundaga for each of them. Ananta noticed an injured pirate and decided to attack him as well. Though he didn't seem down for the count just yet. Pirates:12/20 pirate hurt: 8 health left
Ananta really didn't mean to land on everyone, but they didn't have to shove her either. She sighed and moved over, wondering where they'd go to next. Before she knew it, they had crashed and were on a pirate ship....surrounded by pirates of course. Looking up, she saw Kaida react badly to changing forms and then to her comrades who all seemed to have changed as well. Ananta stood up and looked at herself. A vest, torn shirt, and torn pants with maroon stripes. Her feet were bare, said for a piece of cloth wrapped around the arch. "Hey...why are we...small?" She asked in a voice that was way higher pitched. Ananta glanced around and walked over to Kaida. "Are you okay?"
Qamar followed along and was glad that Torrin agreed to all just go to the library. Apparently her family name isn't as famous as Thessalian. It didn't matter, she just wanted to find something that would help her. They arrived at the library and a girl hugged Torrin. She introduced herself as Quinna and Qamar gave her a wave. Not sticking around, Qamar headed off to the section she needed and pulled down the book marked for Zalam, Thessalian, and Solus. She was curious on the others. She returned to be near the group in case they left early and began to read the Zalam book. Apparently they were responsible for a few clothing businesses and had made their fortune this way. Though there were strange markings on some of the pages that looked like smudges. For awhile, the pages were littered with them until they got to the last page that had her mother and father on it. She gazed at the picture of both and smiled sadly. Qamar noticed, however, that it was her mother who carried the name Zalam and her father was a distant relative of the Thessalian family. Scratching her chin, Qamar closed the book and confirmed this in the Thessalian book. She sat the two books down and noticed a paper fell out of the Zalam book. Qamar picked it up and read it to herself. She frowned and tucked the note away. Qamar returned to the group and nodded at them. "Apparently my family made their fortune and respect by making clothes and working in the army. As my father carried on what my grandfather had started before he had died...I guess." She shrugged. "Either way, I learned some stuff."
Zalam...that name is haunting Qamar to this day. Her mother had the crest on much of her items, but they were lost to Qamar. As Watts took the blade and had it sharpened, she bowed to him. "Thank you." She spoke, staring at the dagger in her hands. She sheathed it and saw Enzo create a rather crude piece of work...that made no sense. Averting her eyes, she looked at Aria when she asked for a knife. Boreas ended up leaving soon after and now they were there with no objective...currently. Gulping, Qamar looked around them. "He was nice..." she said, cutting the silence. "Torrin, do you suppose my family are..famous? Everyone keeps talking about them...is there a library somewhere with family records? I want to do research if I have the time and perchance make my way to that house..." she requested.
Ananta stood there and wondered if the three kids would be okay after all. They seemed trusting of each other, so maybe they would. Looking at her teammates, she was glad to see everyone safe. Especially Kaida. After their last world together, she knew the girl was having a rough time. Ananta was slightly surprised to see her cry, but Beuce was already over their and...hugging her. Ananta chuckled and made her way over, pretending not to see the hug. "Kaida, you're safe. I was so worried back there...last I saw you, you were sucked under water." She said, giving the girl a little shoulder pat. "Glad to see you're in one piece. Same to you too, Beuce. It's been awhile since I saw you..." she smiled. "So...how have things been?" She asked the two, looking around. She saw Marx by himself, but she knew dudes looking like wolves was bad business for her. Steel already disliked her, it seemed, so she was leaving him alone for now. "In all honesty, I'm still a little lost...I was in the realm kg darkness awhile before you guys all got trapped and we got out..." she scratched her cheek.
Qamar scratched her chin upon reaching the blacksmith. She remembered him from the times she was sent on little missions by Ravanna. Though she never talked to him since she didn't think iit was a smart move. Soon enough, they were addressed by Watts and he seemed to think Qamar and Aria needed some weapons. Shaking her head with a chuckle, Qamar unsheathed the dagger she always kept to her side. "Perhaps you could make sure this dagger hasn't gotten too beat up, sir?" She said, smiling. As she handed it over, it was apparent that this dagger had a family emblem etched into the hilt. The emblem was a crescent moon with a dagger across it. Next to the emblem was the family name 'Zalam'. Qamar was curious if he'd notice that or if by chance he'd ignore it.
Ananta used faith.
No problem! I was surprised it was two discs when I got it myself lol
It's actually two discs.
Ananta used her mega potion!
Qamar crossed her arms and was kind of lost in thought. She was brought back to it when everyone had dispersed and Torrin mentioned a blacksmith. "Sure, I'll go, uh...I do want to try and...find my father if that's okay, but if we don't have the time I'll wait." She said, glancing around.
Qamar scrunched her face when Nora mentioned her father holding land to the north. Qamar wanted to run off and find him, but she knew that was not her mission today. Shaking her head, she straightened her face and soon Nora and Torrin were bickering. Right before she mentioned what happened to Torrin's mother, Nora had been punched. Looking to Torrin, Qamar shook her head. While it felt kind of satisfying to see that, she wondered what happened to his mother. Did Torrin's mother also die? If so, that was a pain she knew all too well and understood why he punched her. As if on cue, a deep voice echoed and everyone began to kneel. Qamar followed suit and knelt, being introduced to the King. She stood again as he addressed them and she nodded. He requested to hear what this threat was and she tried to keep things simple. "Your majesty, there is a man known as the Light Chaser who aims to dispel all darkness. " she spoke, not sure if there was more to tell.
