"I...I'm sorry, Torrin. I didn't mean to offend." she said, gulping hard on her eggs. The subject was a sore spot and Qamar felt bad for teasing him. At least he acknowledged the apology and at least gave hope that she'd find her father some day. Clearly there were a lot of things going on back on Orphic Coast. Perhaps she could get more ideas of what was going on later when she sought out Boreas. She still needed to talk to him, after all. Qamar was sure that if she talked to him, she'd be able to perhaps get a better control over her darkness. Asking Torrin was out of the question, seeing as he had his own problems. The fact he just used the darkness in such a vast amount clearly drained him. Finishing her plate, Qamar sighed at the abandoned plate from Torrin. He never even touched it, so she had to give it away to somebody, after all. Cleaning her own dish, she grabbed the two plates and began to leave the kitchen, wondering if there was anyone nearby that would love a random plate of breakfast...at night. Spoiler: Breakfast Dinner Qamar made her way all the way to Kidemonas' room and balanced the second plate on her arm. "Please let him not be so goofy now." she whispered to herself. She entered the room, her eyes closed. "Master, I know it's nearly night, but I made you breakfast...since you did call it Orphic Toast." she spoke out, waiting for a reply. "Oh. Hey. Erm...I'm sorry about earlier. I haven't had any sleep in a long time." Kidemonas spoke, scratching the back of his head. "Orphic...Toast? I actually said that?" He thought for a moment. "Oh I suppose I did. Thank you." "Master Aster was there, so we're not going to let you live it down." she added on, walking forward. She opened her eyes and saw just how tired Kidemonas was. An exasperated look was on her face that turned into a sympathetic smile. "You can't just not sleep all the time, Master. Didn't we have an intervention already?" she asked, setting the plate down on his table. Looking around, she wondered if maybe she ought to clean up a little. "You eat and I'll clean up some of these books and papers, kay?" she offered, reaching down for a few books and beginning to stack them in her arms. The other plate was also set on the table, but Qamar was clearly disinterested. "Well I've got dirt on her too." Kidemonas mused as he took a bite out of the toast she had given him. "I'm not even sure what my next project will be. I suppose data collecting for the..." He trailed off as he took another bite. "Mm. That feels better already." "Data collecting for what?" she asked curiously, placing the books on the side of Kidemonas' room with his bookcases. She continued onto another stack, setting it down and stopped to stand up, putting her hands on her hips. "Besides the toast and the data collecting, I've been meaning to ask you. When will I be taught to summon my keyblade armor? You know I've always not been one to watch after myself, so it makes sense to help me get my armor, right?" she joked, reaching for some papers she knocked over. She glanced at the sheets, wondering what he had wrote. "That's a surprise. You'll see tomorrow." Kidemonas answered just before he broke off into a loud yawn. "Keyblade armor? Oh. Right. That''s something that's made, not taught. Well I suppose it takes practice to activate it on instinct but that's besides the point. The truth is, we don't have the materials to make new armors. There's some old activators in storage but the armor they are supposed to summon are beyond repair." "They're made?" she blinked, trying to figure out how to flip the papers around correctly. Too bad they were blueprints and she could honestly not figure them out. Except one...looked like a room, but since it was a surprise, she decided to let him have that one. "Then I think I found you another project to spend five more days on." she said, stacking the papers neatly. She turned back to him and had a small smile on her face. "I feel like I need to warn you about something." she walked over and sat down, crossing her legs. "That is, I'm going to ask Boreas if he could help me with my darkness. I'd ask Torrin, but he just used his up for like a week." "Hm...I suppose I could research where to get what I need." Kidemonas nodded as he watched Qamar. "You're going to learn from one of them? Hm...well who better than someone who's spent their whole life in the Realm of Darkness? Just be careful. Darkness is volatile and Master Gero is not too fond of it. Earlier he even asked for some data on...erm...Well never mind. It's not my place to speak of. Just be careful." "That brings up another point." she started, staring at the table a little anxiously. "Truth be told, Master, I, too come from the Realm of Darkness." she stated. "It only makes sense. Torrin and Boreas are also from Orphic Coast. If that is in the Realm of Darkness and I remember that name clearly, then I am also from that place." She gripped her hands and looked a little upset. "But that means Master Gero will possibly not like me now, right?" "To be honest I don't think he even likes me. Or Selene." Kide shrugged. "Seems like he has a strong dislike of Boreas and an even stronger one towards Torrin. For obvious reasons given what Master Gero went through." "Why wouldn't he like you? You're the science data guy, you're pretty important I think." Qamar tilted her head. "...Selene is understandable." she nodded. Qamar looked at Kidemonas. "Master, you're not mad I wish to train with . Boreas, are you? I don't want to offend you, but I do hope we can train again. Maybe after you finish your bacon." she nodded at his plate. "I'm not sure. He's a tough man to read and he's definitely got a hell of an intimidating presence." He bit into the bacon as it was mentioned. "Mmph. Not mad. No. Just concerned." "Concerned with what?" she asked, grabbing the toast from the spare plate and munching it idly. "Other than your normal concern for me." "Even for those who use it regularly, darkness just has a more volatile quality to it. Skia dabbles in it I know but even she knows when enough is enough. It's only been in recent years where I've seen anyone with a strong dark presence. First you, then those two. Hm...though I suppose it interesting to see how the balance of light and dark differ even between those from Orphic Coast." He finished his meal and set it to the side. Qamar considered what he said and thought how she could word things. "The difference between those from the Realm of Light who use darkness and those who come from the Realm of Darkness is that those from the Light are tempted by the darkness in their hearts. Those from the Darkness were born into it, thus they never had Light to inhibit their darkness." she spoke. "Of course, Master Gero is right in being so distrusting. He's only ever had bad experiences with children of the Darkness. That's what I believe." "Well that's true for the most part. It's more complicated that. There's an old lesson Stamatis taught me that I can't seem to remember...oh well. Point is, everyone, even you, has both light and darkness in their hearts. The balance is different for everyone. On average those from the Realm of Darkness skew to having more of the dark in their heart and the opposite is true for those in this realm. Personally, I like looking at it in percentages. Like a Princess of Heart being 100% light." "So by that logic a Prince of Dark is 100% dark?" she mused. "You taught me that lesson, too, you know. Back when I first became a student? You taught me this and reminded me a lot of Granny." she smiled. "As far as I know there isn't even a term for someone with a pure dark heart. Probably because by that point they'd be a Heartless or Darkling." He shrugged. "But I am glad you have paid attention to your lessons, Qamar." Once more Kide yawned and stretched his arms out. "I need another lesson, so teach me something....um...hm...like maybe some magic or just fight me." she said. "I'll go easy on you since you're tired." "Your lesson for now will be the most difficult, most treacherous, and most daunting lesson you have ever received." He reached forward and patted the girl on the head. "Go to your room. Get some rest. And let me sleep. We've earned it." Suddenly she felt really tired when he patted her on the head. "Hey wait, you made me sleepy," she yawned, covering her mouth. She stood up and looked at Kidemonas. "Okay this is gonna sound really weird, but keep safe and don't die before I see you again." she joked. "I'd hate to find out you died from no sleep." "Hmph. That won't happen. Relax and get some sleep alright? Master's orders." Kidemonas waved at the girl dismissively. "Shoo. Shoo. To bed with you." "You're mean, I'm telling Master Aster!" she called as she left the room, leaving the food behind. She made her way to her room, passing by Master Stamatis' room. She heard a violin played and stopped for a moment. Only Tinarah knew how to play the violin, so that was probably what she was hearing. Though it sounded like two instruments... Qamar shrugged, continuing on her way. She felt like she walked a lot farther than she did, but she eventually made it to her room. Stepping inside, she collapsed to her knees, hands supporting her on the floor. "Guess I'm more tired than I thought." she sighed. Qamar moved to her wardrobe and pulled out some clean clothes to sleep in. She then walked into the bathroom and proceeded to strip down. She examined herself and the new scars on her legs as a result of Dentro and his vines. She ran her hands over her stomach and sides, seeing the scars she always had from years of fighting. Glancing at the bathtub, she dipped in and enjoyed the heat of the water. Qamar nearly fell asleep in the tub, though she quickly got out when she realized it. Eventually, she made her way back to her room in PJ shorts and a t-shirt, her wavy hair flowing behind her. On the floor, she left her old, tattered clothes. Thinking about it, she figured now was as good a time as any to figure up a new look. The one she had was held for nearly 6 years and she needed a change. Thinking about the fact she wore the same clothes for 6 years was disturbing, but Qamar shook the thought out of her head and sat on the ground. She closed her eyes and began to meditate, trying to clear her mind.
Qamar fiddled with the eggs and listened to Torrin explain things. He spoke about a civil war that Qamar wasn't entirely aware of. She knew there was some kind of strife in Orphic Coast, but Ravana never bothered to inform her of the goings on. "I think you mean our world." she corrected, flipping the bacon that was totally cooking in another skillet this whole time. She moved the bacon over to the three plates and soon transfered the eggs. Toast popped up and now the plates were all set, just as Torrin finished answering her questions. She handed him a plate and noticed the hot chocolate. "Oh you have some hot chocolate? Aria's specialty?" she smiled. "I'm jealous now!" she laughed. Grabbing the skillets and taking the dirty dishes to wash them, she thought about any other questions. "I wish you could tell me who my real dad is. It probably seems dumb to you...sorry." she sighed, setting the dishes to dry. Qamar leaned against the counter and held her plate to eat. "If you're the King's nephew, does that mean you're a prince?" she wasn't entirely sure if she was right, she never understood that kind of thing after all. "Eh, probably. Doesn't mean I'd start bowing to you or anything." she spoke, eating on her toast. "You certainly don't act like a prince though. Though I gotta ask, if they don't like people like us from the Realm of Darkness, why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the castle enjoying getting fed fat pigs or something?" she glanced over to Torrin. "I mean, come on, you're a priiince." she teased him.
Qamar watched Kidemonas kind of stand there and try to play off the fact he slept only five minutes in five whole days. She blinked and looked between Aster and Kidemonas for a moment and just kind of listened. She was amused when she heard him heard her say toast instead of coast. Though he did correct himself and she raised an eyebrow. "The Night Sovereign?" she repeated, looking at Aster. He then tried to talk about a nephew and then Boreas. "Wait, nephew? Torrin? And Boreas?" She was confused, but luckily Aster interjected, musing at his behavior. "I wish Master Varos could see this, he'd actually laugh I bet." Qamar added in. She pretended to put her arms up in defense of Kidemonas' threats to cut Aster and his wanting to crash. "Master, you can get some sleep in a little bit. I'll even make sure you get there if you can't walk." she offered. When he mentioned how she looked like she had been crying, Qamar touched her eyes and realized how puffy they must look to Kidemonas. She shok her head when he asked Aster if she had broken him. "No, she...she helped me, actually so..." she shifted a little. "I was able to vent my pent up feelings and just cry it out. I feel a lot better now and things more sense. My mind isn't clouded anymore. I can remember everything I thought was lost. I am from the Realm of Darkness. As was my old Master before I was sent here. She died as...a quietness came over the world we were on." Qamar looked at Aster and then Kidemonas. "I want to know more about Orphic Coast, but clearly I should be asking Torrin or Boreas." Thinking about the fact Kidemonas said toast instead of coast reminded her of the hunger eating at her stomach. "I want to talk more, Master, but as it is, I am quite hungry. I'll go make something to eat and bring it to your room, okay? Just like old times. Except Skia won't be there making fun of you for not sleeping or being delirious." she looked down at herself and sighed. "I promise we can talk later. I've got a few things to ask of you. Do you want any food Master Aster?" she asked. Aster simply shook her head and Qamar nodded. "See ya in a bit." she waved to the two Masters. Qamar quickly walked away, trying to will the headache away. Her head never hurt this bad before, but she could feel a deep down relief. Her head was a sink that was clogged, but now it was finally unclogged. Skipping down the stairs, Qamar saw Aria was leaving the kitchen area. She figured the girl was tired, so she continued on to the kitchen. Stepping through the doorway, she spotted Torrin in just his shirt. "Hey you got a bandage now. Don't tell me you had to beg Aria to fix you up." she joked, looking in the fridge and pulling out eggs and butter and bacon. She sat the items down and pulled a skillet out, grabbing a spatula. "I can make you some food, too. I'm already making myself and Master Kidemonas something. Don't worry, I won't mind. Besides, I want to chew your ear off a moment in a sense." she said, warming the skillet. "I know we haven't really talked much before about anything. But I really need to ask a couple of things. You probably won't wanna talk about those things because..you're you." she chuckled, adding butter to the pan. "For the longest time, I couldn't remember much about my past. Just some stuff here and there and that's about it. Now, I can remember growing up on a world that was called Orphic Coast. You know of that place, yes? Can you tell me more about it? Perhaps tell me who the Night Sovereign is? And are you really his nephew?" she shot the questions out, starting to crack the eggs into the skillet, a curious look about her face.
"His memories..." she repeated, looking down at her own chest. She placed her hand there and held it for a long pause. She looked back up to Aster and nodded. "I'll stay as long as you need me to, Master Aster. I kind of...think of the council as my family now. All of you are precious to me and I'll never mind keeping any of you company." She smiled, sliding over and planting her butt in a nearby chair. Staring at the wall, she opened her mouth and then closed it. Qamar managed to speak once she had a second. "Remember how I told all the other Master's I was from Moluk? I was....lying." she scratched her head. She looked down at her clothes and then the jewelry she wore. She was reminded of her mother, seeing as the rings were all hers. "Only Master Stamatis knew where I was truly from. Master Stamatis knew since my previous Master...." she stopped, her speech slurring a little and she started to just stare off into space. A great pain came to her head and she realized more memories had came back. Spoiler: The Old Master Cold, dark, and scared. A plain dark dress that reached just down to above her knees and a maroon jacket keeping her somewhat warm. Her feet were covered by boots and she was looking like she had to get out of there. Her eyes darted back to where she was walking from. Her hands were in her pockets and she was holding tightly onto jewelry. She turned around in time to see herself run into an elderly woman. This woman looked Qamar up and down and tilted her head. "Child, are you alright? You look frightened..." she commented. Qamar shook her head. "Need to get away..." she murmured. The woman nodded and put a hand on Qamar's arm, gripping it tightly. "Child, I can tell you're scared. Come with me to my home. It's a little outside of town, but I can get you away from here for sure." she offered. Qamar nodded and ended up following this old woman. She had no idea why she was doing this. This woman could be taking her into a trap and Qamar could be as good as dead. Yet, somehow, deep down, she felt a small light flickering in this woman that gave her a sense of ease. They walked for what seemed like forever until a small house could be seen. Qamar was happy to see someplace that wasn't the town and dark wilderness. Dark creatures started to pop up, stalking and skulking towards Qamar. Utter terror came over her as she backed away from the creatures. The old woman put her hand forward and a keyblade appeared in her hand. The dark creatures were dispatched of quickly and Qamar stared at the old woman. "You have one too?!" she exclaimed, summoning her keyblade and showing it to the woman. The woman was surprised but she chuckled. "Oh yes, child, I knew I could sense the keyblade within you. Come, I'll explain everything inside." she said, urging Qamar inside. For the next week, Qamar listened to the old Master tell stories and tales of her journies. Qamar was curious and wanted to go on her own journey with people she'd call great friends some day. At the end of the week, the woman chuckled at Qamar wanting to call her Granny. She obliged and finally caved in and decided to take Qamar with her to a world to sort of check things out and train. Upon landing on the world, Qamar looked around at the lush forest they were dropped onto. She had a grand smile on her face after finally seeing a sunrise different than she had ever dreamed of. She fell backwards and laid on the ground as Granny spoke to somebody on a communication device. "Hello, I know this is an old device, but I hope it still connects to you, Master Gero? Or is it Master Stamatis now?" Granny chuckled. "This is Master Raka, if you do not know." Granny began, not wanting to overload whomever of the Council would pick up the communicator first. It'd been such a long time since she had used it, was worried it didn't actually work. "Master...Raka?" There was a pause. "Hm. Yes. Indeed. Why would a master from the Realm of Darkness be contacting us. Surely King Joch would be better suited for assisting you." The man spoke in a calm and polite tone. Granny hummed a moment and shrugged to herself. "Apologies, but I don't think he'd like to hear about how my student gained her keyblade. He'd possibly imprison her for it. Sparing the details, the girl murdered her father after he abused her for all of her life. Now, she is trying to heal on her own time." Granny paused a long moment. "I know it makes her out to be dangerous, but the girl is far from that. It's like she's trying to forget the pain, but also trying to remember the good parts. Her mind is clouded and I felt that a foray into the Realm of Light would do her heart a great deal of good." Granny looked over to see Qamar was quite enjoying the sunlight on her skin and the small butterflies that landed on her, taking a rest. "Hm...grim circumstances for a child. Be sure to keep a watchful eye on the child and take care to not disturb the world order. If any damage is done to this realm by you or the child, we will have no choice but to place you under your king's judgment, whatever that may be." Granny listened closely and nodded. "I've been a Master for most of my life, I can assure you I've never disturbed world order. However, I must ask, who am I speaking with? It's been so long, I don't recognize the voice." she glanced back to Qamar. "And I can assure you, this girl is a great choice. In fact, I may just end up sending her to your Council to receive further training. Did you not take upon a student recently?" she questioned. "This is Master Stamatis. Unfortunately...unfortunately, Master Gero is no longer with us as of last year. I am now the current Master of Masters." Though he tried not to show it there was pain in his voice. "But yes. The last student to receive Master Gero's blessing, Adalric, has shown great promise." Granny grimaced upon the news and looked at Qamar. "Master Stamatis, I must apologize for the loss of Master Gero. I only ever knew the man to be just and wise...yet human." she closed her eyes. "The pain in your voice....tells me it hit hard." She took a long pause and nodded to herself. "Perhaps Qamar may join young Adalric in training? I know being a student can get awfully sad if you do not have a friend." Granny nodded once more and decided to wrap things up. "I shall let you go and continue to train her. I will contact you if anything of importance is discovered here on Moluk." she concluded. "Thank you... As for your student, we will look into it but currently the Council is not accepting new students. I appreciate you contacting me. This new position is...new for me. Good luck on your journey, Master Raka, and may your heart be your guiding key." Training went smoothly for the next four months. Qamar was nearly 15 when she noticed the world they had traveled to started to grow darker. More and more heartless were appearing and it was making it hard for the locals to even survive. As Qamar dispatched a group of heartless, she looked to the ground to see large cracks begin to form. Granny came running to Qamar, grabbing her hand. "Qamar, stay here. I will return, but I need you to stay here." she instructed her. "Master, I don't underst-" she was cut short by Granny putting a hand over her face. "I must speak to the Council about an important matter, I will return." Granny ran from Qamar, leaving her beside their small home they had been given. Qamar watched heartless pour out of a few of the cracks. She fought what she could, but she ended up inside the house, scared to death. Granny found a relatively safe spot and fiddled with her communicator once more. "Master Stamatis, please respond, I have an emergency. And a favor." she said, leaning against a wall. Her hand covered her stomach where blood was seeping. "Raka? What is it? What's wrong?" Granny breathed a little shakily, taking a deep breath. "I've failed as a Master. Report to King Joch for me and let him know Moluk has fallen." she grabbed the wall. "And my favor is that you let that young Master Kidemonas be the child's new Master. She won't stop asking about the boy, I feel like she's attached." Granny gave a light-hearted chuckle. Qamar breathed sharply, looking around disoriented. The pain in her head was beginning to be too much. She looked around, seeing Master Aster looking quite worried with her. It was then that Qamar noticed Master Kidemonas beside Master Aster. Qamar shot up and gave a bow to him and tried to keep the pain from being noticeable. "H-Hello Master Kide. I'm back and uh....a lot of memories are back too." she tacked on, scratching her head. "Do either of you know where Orphic Coast is?" she asked. "For some reason, I had a memory that...I lived there."
"Who'd kill you? Your mom?" she asked. "Didn't you see everyone had a cracked phone by the end of the school year? You're lucky on that part. I'd just have left mine cracked if I did it." she shrugged, pulling her phone out once more. She looked at the message her mom sent her and she grimaced. "Now she's asking when you're coming over. I don't get this woman, dang..." she put the phone away. "She's trying to get us to come over now and I honestly don't think that's a good idea. Do you?" Eva played with her necklace nervously. It was like her mom expected Terry to be just some amazing guy who'd teach her to do the right things and generally be just a good guy. At the moment,Terry was the exact opposite of that. That worried Eva.
Qamar was going over what she'd even say to Aster when she saw her that when she heard her from behind, she jumped. Slowly, she turned her head towards Master Aster and she felt a lump in her throat. In her head, she was trying to figure out what she could even say to let her know that Qamar didn't want Adalric to die. She never meant for him to die and she didn't want Master Aster to think that she wanted that either. Master Aster noted that she was looking well and then she took notice of the state of Qamar's clothes. "Oh they uh....they're....in the courtyard right now." she stated, scratching her cheek. Upon feeling Master Aster's hand on her shoulder, Qamar looked into her eyes and saw the water threatening to escape. Amazingly, she kept her composure to tell Qamar that Adalric's death was not her fault. A snap could almost be heard as Qamar's eyes filled with tears, spilling over as she stared at Master Aster. Her eyes were wide but there was a deep sadness in them. "But it IS my fault, Master Aster." she started off. "You don't know what I was doing, you don't know...how stupid I was. I thought...I thought I could take on anything. I thought I could take on one of the Light Chaser's students and he ended up trapping me." she was shaking as she tightened her hands into fists. Her knuckles were turning white as she continued to shake. "That student was telling me just how pathetic I was, rushing in like I always do. You know me, I've never been one to think things through...I'm trying, though. Because I learned my lesson now, I don't want anybody else to die because of me." she gulped and continued. "His name was Dentro...he trapped me and like I said he told me how pathetic I was. I was trying to save Adalric, the same way we always trained. I was trying to do what I did and that was be strong. But I'm not strong. Dentro ran at me and I closed my eyes, ready to get stabbed. Except I wasn't. I opened my eyes and saw Adalric with a keyblade through his chest. Stupid Adalric could only say sorry." she grit her teeth. "He was sorry he couldn't fulfill your orders, even after you had uplifted him from his old life...then, he died in my arms..." Qamar raised her hands and stared at them. "I remember seeing his blood on my hands and the small specks of light that faded off of him. I didn't want them to go..." she felt her hands shake and she covered her face. "Now there's nothing left of him. I regret not being a better friend to him and trying to get to know him. I regret letting him take that blow for me. I regret ever going on this journey. I should have stayed here and he'd be alive right now. Adalric would be alive and I wouldn't be feeling this bad again. I thought I was over all my sadness but I'm not. I couldn't even save my own mother, of course I couldn't save Adalric. I wish I didn't feel this bad, I wish I was the one dead and he was the one that was alive. I don't deserve to live, after all I've done, I don't deserve to live at all. Master Aster, I'm sorry I couldn't keep him safe. That was the one thing I promised you and I failed you." she wept, her voice cracking from how much she was talking and how much crying she was doing. "I tried so hard to just move on and appreciate the fact he saved me. I can't do that. I can't move on, it's not fair. I don't deserve this second chance. All I do is make mistakes and then people get angry at me because I only know how to say the wrong things all the time. I'm a terrible person who can't take social cues and can only ever screw things up for people. I'll never have any more friends. I lost the one person I could call a friend for a selfish reason. What right do I have?!" For what seemed like minutes, Qamar was just standing there, sobbing and crying harder now and again. Until she felt Master Aster wrap her arms around her, giving her a deep hug. For a moment, the tears stopped and Qamar just stared off in confusion before she hugged Master Aster back. She took in sharp breaths as she started to finally calm down. She hadn't cried this much since her mother died... Spoiler: Impromptu Memory? One afternoon, Qamar was playing with a toy while Ravana was making dinner. Eifa was sitting outside and stitching at a dress that Qamar had recently torn up from when she was fighting with some boys. Qamar stood up and looked over at Ravana as he slipped something powdery into one of the bowls for dinner. He then placed the spoon into the bowl, glaring at Qamar. She quickly turned her face away and played with her toy more. "Go get your mother." Ravana ordered. Qamar nodded and got up, walking to Eifa. She pulled on her sleeve and smiled. "Dad says dinner is ready." she announced, running back inside. She sat down at the table and noticed her spoon wasn't in the bowl yet. Only the one she saw Ravana put the powdery stuff into. She looked at Ravana and saw him sit at the other bowl with no spoon. Eifa ended up at the spoon bowl. "Dad, can you teach me a word I don't know? Like, a place word or something? One of the boys was making fun of me cuz I don't know how to say our cities' name yet...." she frowned. "You do it, Eifa, I'm tired." he sighed, sipping his soup. Eifa nodded, slurping on hers for a moment. "Well, why don't I start off by writing it?" she grabbed a pen and wrote down 'Orphic Coast' on a piece of paper. "How do you say this word?" she pointed. Qamar tilted her head. "Oarpick?" she guessed. Eifa chuckled. "No dear. Oar-fihc." she corrected. "Oar....fihc...?" Qamar repeated. "Orphic??" "Yes....now this word?" she pointed at coast. "Coats?" Qamar shrugged. Eifa laughed again. "Halfway there. Coh-st." Eifa slurped her soup more, starting to cough a little. "Orphic....Coast? There's this place? This dinky town thing is named something hard like THAT?" she looked upset. "The King's ancestors chose the name. They don't give a rats ass about what we think about it." Ravana scoffed, finishing off his soup. Qamar sat in silence as she finished her soup. Eifa managed to finish hers, but she started to cough more, turning to get up and rush to the bathroom. Ravana had an evil smile on his face. "It's working." he muttered. "Dad, what'd you put in Mom's soup?" she asked. "Was it something tasty? Why couldn't I get any? Can I get some next time? Please?" Ravana waved his hand at her. "No, it's only for adults. Stop asking questions." Less than a week later, Qamar was crying at the side of her mother's bed, Eifa having died and leaving Qamar to her darkness. Back in reality, Qamar had let go of Master Aster and was leaning against the door, gripping her head. The Master was looking concerned and Qamar shook her head. "I'll be okay...I just...my head's trying to figure out my memories..." she said. "I...I need to talk to my Master now..." she said, turning to try and walk away.

"It may be your business and I can respect that, but I do t want you to run off and get yourself killed." She gave a reply, seeing Tinarah start to talk to him. Eventually, Enzo introduced himself and let it be known that Take was something. Torrin went and confirmed it, which Qamar nodded to. She knew there was a strong light somewhere within the group, but she was never able to confirm it since it was only ever noticed in passing. Boreas left after Torrin instructed him to leave. Qamar wanted to follow, bit the way he was now, she knew he needed some time to himself. If what Torrin said was true, then his keyblade would return. Qamar was left wondering how she was going to ask him to train her now. He was surely angry at her for interfering so at the time, she was lost on what to do. Though it did strike her as odd that Enzo noticed Take's light. "Enzo must be from the Realm of Darkness." She commented to Torrin. "But I have to ask how does one get their keyblade back like that...." she shrugged and turned towards the castle. "I have to go speak with my Master and Master Aster." She said, looking at the group. "I'm sure Master Choma and Master Atmos will be here soon, just wait a little longer." She assured them. She saw Take's tears and gave him a smile. "Hey, no need to shut people out. We're a weird little family here." She gave a light chuckle. "So don't think about us as strangers. No more tears, hm?" She gave Take's head a small pat. "Sorry if headpats aren't your thing." She mumbled, turning to leave. She sprinted up the steps of the castle, heading inside. She eventually made her way to Aster's room. She knocked on the door, waiting to be let in. Though she did voice who it was at the door. "Master Aster, it's Qamar. I kinda need to talk." She said loud enough for Aster to hopefully hear.
Torrin instructed that Boreas and Qamar stand down, so that's exactly what she did. She stayed back enough to still be nearby if anything were to happen, but she didn't just sit on the ground and give up. She was still tense and hoping this Light Chaser wouldn't try anything. Of course she was wrong as she glanced back to see Thallasa standing there speechless. The Master ended up running away with the people they were protecting and that just left their rag-tag group of would-be heroes. The Light Chaser started to address Tinarah, making Qamar look towards the girl. She wanted to say something, but she knew it wasn't her place to comment. She knew this Light Chaser was the reason that Tinarah had been broken, but the girl was now stronger for it. She could tell Tinarah was slowly getting back on her own two feet. Who was the broody prince, though? Torrin? He didn't look like a prince... Then he said her name and Qamar's head snapped towards the Light Chaser. Clearly this man didn't know Adalric. The boy barely showed any darkness. She was always the one whose own darkness seeped out when she let her guard down. The way he spoke about them snuffing each other out left a bad taste in her mouth. It didn't help that the man revealed that Dentro was gone and Qamar was unable to exact revenge. "Tch..." she responded upon being called weak-willed. Seriously, this guy was annoying and Qamar was getting tired of hearing him now. At least he knew how tiring it was when he finished with her. A beam of light erupted from the Light Chaser's back and Qamar stared in horror, moving her head towards it's direction only to see Boreas' keyblade shatter. When he ran for the Light Chaser, Qamar followed, reaching out to try and grab his arm. "Stop, Boreas! Don't!" she yelled, her words lost as Flammie attacked with a great fire and darkness engulfed the party. The fire from Flammie ruined the rest of her skirt and overskirt and left Qamar in a torn and burnt outfit, on the ground and her hand outstretched towards Boreas who landed on the ground. She got up wobbly and saw Boreas check on everyone before he went straight to Torrin, demanding to be sent back. In her usual way, Qamar moved over to Boreas and looked at him, staring into his eyes and seeing a rage burning deep within him. This was a rage she had experienced before, but not as terrible as this. "Boreas." she spoke out, looking from him to Torrin. "You can't go back now, Torrin can't send you back. Look at him, he nearly killed himself to send us here." she looked to see exactly where they were and she sighed in relief that it was familiar at least. She then cleared her throat and looked at Boreas with a stern and determined look. "Come with me, I will take you somewhere that you can vent all of your anger. You're not thinking straight and need to see that killing yourself is not going to get your keyblade back." she said. "Please Boreas, come with me. We can have a sparring match or something. I can teach you meditation. Anything to help you not do something rash. I just don't want you getting yourself killed." Whether or not he accepted this, Qamar had no idea. He had no reason to, but Qamar knew that just going to kill yourself was not the way to do these things.

Qamar watched and shielded herself from the winds that came from the cauldron disappearing. Soon enough, Ardyn was left and he was ready to defend himself if he had to in order to keep the cauldron. Qamar heard him mention killing Glyde off-handedly and that only made her grit her teeth. "Bastard...I knew you had something to do with Glyde's death." she spoke out, not yelling, but not being very quiet either. Her eyes darted to Tinarah who came forward and gave a few of the party members some more help before her eyes scanned their surroundings. What could they use to stop Ardyn? Qamar looked to everyone and her eyes stopped on Illiana, who was staring at the cauldron, as if she was going to.... That was not something Qamar wanted to see. Moving quickly, Qamar made her way to Illiana. Despite their differences, despite her being a jerk to Qamar and despite Qamar being a jerk back, she couldn't bear to just see Illiana give herself up to the cauldron. There had to be some other way than sacrifice to stop the cauldron. Her arm stretched forward as her form finally disappeared and she was left grabbing Illiana's arm, gripping rather tightly. She knew she wasn't going to be on Illiana's good side after this, but she surely didn't wish to see the girl die. No matter how much she disliked Illiana. "Illiana, this...this isn't the right choice." she said. "I know it's not my place, but you've got a lot to live for, okay? Think about your brother. You worked so hard to try and follow him. You even pushed yourself past exhaustion....you go in there now, you're gonna get smacked by Ardyn, okay? He's too strong. Stay back and assess the situation more." She was speaking to Illiana lowly, hoping to not draw the attention of the others.
Qamar didn't expect Boreas to react to her standing near him, but she was amazed by the way he was utterly destroying the Horned King. She aimed to attack the Horned King again but was shoved off by the monster. Looking to her left, she looked at Boreas and then launched herself towards the King. As she ran, she felt her body slow down and she wasn't able to get far without feeling an amazing strain on her body. That didn't last long, seeing as Tinarah was already curing the ailment as well as her own pain. "Thanks!" Qamar called, returning to launch herself at the Horned King. She took her blade and stabbed at the king's body and appendages with a thrusting motion. She ended it with one last hit that landed straight in his chest before she jumped back. The flames from Boreas' ability agitated the scars on her back and stomach, but she wasn't about to whine. (Slow was cured by Tinarah) Qamar used SABERA on herself. Qamar used PENETRATOR (as many times as I can without going below 30HP) Qamar's Info HP: 28/120 MP: 15/15 FOC: 41/41 FLUX: 0/3 STATUS: Rainbow Glow (1 Turn), Inspiring Presence (1 Turn), Domination (2 Turns)
Inna was glad he dodged this attack, but he was frustrated his own attack missed. "Fine then, try this on for size!" he called out, aiming his hand high to gather water and then pointing his palm at the boy. He shot a beam of water at the boy, before he readied himself to dodge. Inna used WATER BEAM and prepared to DODGE.
"I am sitting down." she corrected the guard who addressed her. Ananta looked to Ignis and watched her, before she wiped her eyes of the tears. "Hey I bet you were super pretty in the dress anyway. I wish I got to see it." she added on. Gazing forward and staring longingly at the city before them, Ananta sighed. "This place looks just like the pictures in my books. I never imagined I'd see it again....Atlantis was supposed to be lost, though...." she sighed. It didn't matter, anyway, since nobody would believe her if she told them she was a descendant of the very people that lived in this city. Faust commented on taking the chains off and nodded to him. "Well we are pretty unarmed, I mean, do you see a weapon on us?" she asked, lifting her arms. "You can check us if you wish, but we are completely devoid of any weapons."
