... I’ve never watched a James Bond movie. No one has ever told me to watch one either. I get a lot of requests or suggestions from my subscribers but out of like 1000s of comments no one has ever asked that either o.O

This is like a conspiracy, like what if no one is actually watching them? Like no one human? All the money they’re making is a farce an daime billionaire is just feeding Hollywood to make more movies

So as I was doing more Death Note research (as you do) and I found what I think, anyway, is an interesting timeline of events?

So the Bonnie and Clyde musical opened in 2012 on Broadway before shutting down after 4 weeks. This isn’t too weird in terms of Frank Wildhorn cause he has a strange reputation of critics hating everything while fans like it (it seems like there’s a bit of a cult around the Bonnie and Clyde musical, the entire thing is on YouTube)

This musical also stared Jeremy Jordan and Laura Osnes (Michael Lanning was also there)

Anyway, the reason why I’m bringing this up is because I honestly can’t believe after a questionably successful 4 week show, Jeremy Jordan, Laura Osnes and Michael Lanning were like “oh sure I’ll do the demo for another weird ass show of yours Frank”. (But I’m sure they were fine doing it and like Frank very much, I’m just saying I can’t imagine saying yes to that)

And Frank seems to have a relationship with Japanese / Korean theatre companies, because despite Bonnie and Clyde being a bit of a total fail, it ran for 2-3 months longer in Japan and Korea. Maybe this is where Death Note being on in Japan and Korea, and not in America yet partly comes from.

And as a sort of side note - Does Jeremy Jordan just enjoy playing psychopaths? Like obviously Jamie from the Last 5 Years can be debated, but between that, Clyde and Light I’m wondering if he’s getting or is gonna get type casted.

Just because in addition to doing Frank’s weird **** and Jamie, Jeremy Jordan played another slightly unhinged character in the Tangled Television show. The Tangled Television show. (He plays Varian in case anyone else who is also an adult watches this show)

This thread is obviously super old but I do agree with you. Like, I’m 18 now and so things are MUCH different then when I was a kid, so I don’t necessarily know if parents are doing this now but when I made this thread is was definitely what was going on back then.

In terms of now, lots of adults are playing with “kids stuff”, and I’ve noticed I’m personally not shamed for it that much anymore. My sister is still kinda in that camp but I feel like that’s more of a highschool thing at this point where it’s like “I want to be POPULAR not a NERD” but I know personally at my highschool the popular kids all had tumblrs and fandoms they were in, they didn’t publically advertize it but it’s not like they didn’t like anything either.

Tbh because it’s been around two years now I’m glad to see things have improved all around from what I made this thread

Yeah the lack of reprisals, not that it BOTHERS me, but like, it kinda makes it feel like something is missing. But that's more of a reason why I hope this gets made into a musical, so we can really get the full experience. I really like what they've given Misa and her voice is just SO powerful. It doesn't alter but enhance, I totally agree lol. Plus I feel like her connection with Rem is more "focused" if that makes sense, like before Rem was kinda an accessory to her almost? If that makes sense. But now they seem to actually have a serious talk.

As for the music, they're definition using some of the chords and stuff from the original show, I can hear it but I think I would have to watch the show again to point out exactly what parts and what chords etc. It just "feels" like Death Note.

This is my first year of university now! Two were portfolio based classes so my 2 exams were just Philosophy and English on the 15th and the 11th. I got my marks December 23rd.

We’re supposed to do 5 classes a semester I think so next semester I’m taking 6 (cause up there I only have 4), but I don’t think it matters. Like you graduate when you graduate right XD

So my mom got me those books, my sister got me the mermaid journal thingy to write in. My sister also got me the slippers and the bath bomb. My mom got me the Nintendo Switch stuff. Santa got me the Snow White glass thingy. The ring is from Hunter,
My mom got me the onesie, my aunt got me the tooth brush (with the 100$ attached)

Apparently I’m crashing KHV with more pictures so I’ll iust explain the rest XD my other Aunt got me The Last of Us for PS4 and a giant box of gummibears, Hunter got me 3 other books (Artistole and Dante which is super gay, Georgia Peaches which is also very gay), a Game of Thrones Risk, and a Million Dollars But the board game with a bunch of card packs. Then my grandpa got me 100$

Presents are still rolling in but too be honest, I know this sounds cheesy but the best gift I got was being able to spend time with my family and Hunters family. I’m not away from home or anything for University but for some reason I realized that now that I’m in university I appreciate being surrounded by love and support more then anything.
