Noxas..........
Riku grumbled and groaned as he opened his eyes, only to find out he was all alone. His head hurt a lot and he looked like he didn't recognize his surroundings. He shook his head and drank a Sunset Sasparilla just for clarity's sake and as he dropped the cap in his pocket, his hand brushed against Sora's note. Riku took it out and read it, quickly discarding it on the ground, and running up the steps. Despite his hung over state, he was pretty quick with the thought of Sora in mind. He was still a bit far off, and cried out, "Sora!" He didn't even think of secrecy.
OOC: Merry Christmas to you guys too~! xD BIC: Riku hiccuped and shook his head, "What kind of sicko does that? Probably one in need of a Rebound or something.." He laughed and looked over at Sora, "I've been looking for you." And then he passed out. Boone meanwhile continued drinking, knowing Riku could handle himself. At least, he hadn't heard any gunshots yet.
"Hey! Hey!" Riku cried out, watching his precious whiskey smash upon the floor, "That was my whiskey ya daft woman!" He struggled ferociously, desperately trying to free his hand. Normally he would have been able to free himself in an instant but the amount of whiskey he drank had lower his common sense and strength a little. He snarled, "Do you know who I am!? Riku, that's who! And if you don't let go, I'll show you why so many fear my name!!"
Boone whispered something to Riku, who had been ignoring Mage again. He laughed and Boone went back to drinking as Riku stood up, only pausing when he heard a bullet hit the walls. "Not sure but I think you're the one hitting the drink too hard," Riku said to Mage, slightly slurring. His stance wasn't that great either, "I am not drunk and I.. I'd appreciate it if you quit shooting your mouth off like that." Without another word, he sorta stumbled out of the saloon and headed to the back where Sora was practicing. "Hey!" he called out, clutching the nearly empty whiskey bottle in his hands, "That was a lousy shot.. You should let, you should let me teach you! I've shot down those Death thongies.. and those that glow... ooh.."
The two men had ignored the noise newcomers, the bartender (for the life of me, i can't remember her name yet...) had gone to the back to check on some noise. When they had left for the moment, Boone raised an eyebrow at Riku. "Underage?" Riku shook his head, "Just some broad shooting her mouth off. Probably a Powder Ganger or one of those rogue wanderers. You know the sort." Boone chuckled and continued drinking, wondering where they would restfor the night. Riku took another sip and frowned, wondering why the voices seemed familar. That tone, that anger seemed slighlty reminiscent but the words had certainly been out of character. The other one.. Would he get a clear view of the other kid?
Raucous laughter could be heard from the bar as the men drank, Riku long used to the vodka he sipped so needily. The bartender had told them a joke and as the laughter died, she shook her head. "Nah but if you're really looking for a way to get to your sweetheart, ask around Freeside and Helios One. Maybe one of the vaults will lend a clue." "I hope so," Riku muttered and shook his head, "I just want to see Sora again." "Yup, now pay your tab and get out you drunk" Another bout of laughter overtook them.
Riku glanced at Boone as the two men sat by each other, Freeside far behind them. They were at the saloon at Goodsprings, chatting with the bartender. "So still searching for those men?" Riku nodded, "Yeah but that's just a side quest for me. I want to be reunited with Sora. He's all I ever think about really. Heh, I can imagine him running across the Mojave desert, trying to avoid all the mutated b*st*rds we come across every day." "Not that strong is he?" "No, he's amazingly strong. But al he ever had was a sword, guns are foreign to him. For me as well but once you get used to dark powers, guns are pretty much the same except you can shoot 'em off with a clear head." "Ah I see. Is your lover in these parts?" "I hope not. I hope Sora's safely at home. Being here, Sora would be in too much danger and our kids should have their mother at least. Nah, I'm sure he's over there. I'm just looking for a way to get to him, through a portal or something. I'm thinking of going to Helios One and seeing if they got anything." "Well good luck. Hope you find him." "Thank you," Riku said as the he took anther long sip of the vodka.
"Come and get me you idiots!" Riku snarled as he shot at a couple of Deathclaws who he had managed to track down. Somehow he had ended up back in the Mojave Desert, low on bottle caps and Stimpaks, and with the renewed chance of finding his killers. On his path, he had come across Boone and was assisting him in his sorrows. After hearing about his wife being sold into slavery, Riku chose to investigate further. He had found the woman who had sold the wife by locating a documentation of the transaction. Boone got his revenge, just like Riku knew he would had anyone sold Sora. The possibility the wife was still alive though had driven Riku to search for any clues as to where she was. This search had led him to find new locations, knowing that there were 200 in this area alone. The Deathclaws were sorta part of the plan. After all, there was a place northeast of Freeside where they could be fought or at least bet on. You could choose Red or Blue and hope that yours would win. Last time Riku tried it, he had lost quite a few caps. Then again the whiskey hadn't helped his chances either. Man did he need a Rebound after that.. A chuckle escaped Riku as he shot one down, using V.A.T.S to finish the other one off. The Mysterious Stranger hadn't shown up again. What a drag. Riku collected what he wanted from the Deathclaws and looked down at his Pip Boy, wishing it could reveal a way to see Sora again. With a sigh, he traveled to Goodsprings for a drink.
Riku heard whisperings up ahead, making sure to keep his hunting rifle on hand. He had an arsenal of weapons before including a laser pistol and a recharging revolver but only the rifle remained when he went through the glowing portal. The NCR radio was still with him although he was unsure as to how they would help him here. Not like they could make a portal too. Or could they? "Sora!" he cried out again, wishing he had a stealth boy on him. Even a keyblade would help right now. With a sigh, he opened a Nuka-Cola and paused for a few moments while he gulped it down.
OOC: I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas for the PS3 lol. Had it stuck in my head for a while xD BIC: Riku opened his eyes, arriving at a strange location that had the familiar scent of Sora. He shook his head and looked around but didn't see anyone. "Sora!!"
Riku, darling, get up. Its time for breakfast... "What... breakfast...?" Riku mumbled as he opened his eyes, instantly shutting them again from the blinding white light above. He groaned, keep his eyes shut as he tried to raise an arm to cover his eyes so the light wouldn't sting him again. Except, he couldn't. In panic he tried again but to no avail as he felt something keeping him down, straps on his wrists and upper arm. His legs too, were bound at the calves and ankles. Looking for answers, he opened his eyes and found the searing white light of before now the dull glow of a dusty lightbulb. A quick scan of the room resulted in hopelessness as he realized he was strapped down on a gurney in a dimly lit operating room. Riku groaned again, remembering what had left him here. Some time before... "Sora!" Riku cried out, lost yet again since a certain guide named HL had led him astray to talk some plans with him. As always, she forgot to meet him to talk of the mentioned plans and had left him without even a map to get back to his family. He searched desperately in the unknown world where it seemed apocalypse had dropped by. Towns were left in ruins, nothing but wasted plains in between, and currency had been reduced to caps from bottles of drinks such as "sasparilla" and "nuka cola." Radiation was a major problem he understood from the people he had met as he walked form town to town, doing missions in order to be able to eat something that wasn't mutated. Alas, it seemed like he would never see his family again. Luckily, he was offered the job of courier. Not so lucky was he was left for dead on one of his jobs. Some men had attacked him as he was about to deliver a package although he couldn't remember if it was NCR, Caeser's men, or one of the others. NCR were good guys unfortunately so he doubted they would do such a thing. The others on the other hand.. Present Day "How you holding up?" Doc asked as he came into the room, chucling as soon as he saw Riku's enraged face, "Easy now, I had to in order to keep you from squirming so much. Worst case I've seen in a while." With wariness, he unstrapped Riku who immediatley got off and rubbed his sore limbs. After a few tests both physical and mental, Doc assessed Riku had done a full recovery. They talked a bit and Doc suggested Riku go out and relearn some skills. That was however, Doc handed Riku a not he said someone had left for him. Riku read the note outloud, "Sora is watiing. Open the gate." Within moments a brilliant gate of light opened and Doc was nowhere to be seen. A soft melody could be heard from the gate and a familar warmth enveloped him. Riku smiled and without hesitation, ran into the gate.
"WEll if they're hungry, give them to me," Riku said with a chuckle as he held his hands out for his little ones.
Riku gasped as he finally started pushing, gripping Sora's hand with all his might, nearly capable of crushing his brones. Luckily he wasn't that strong. With many groans, deep breaths, and drops of sweat their children finally came out. His whole body relaxed although he held Sora's hand gently still, looking up at his lovely mate with a small smile as he heards their cries.
Riku took advantage of Sora's hand to squeeze it as tightly as possible, transferring some of the pain he felt. "would you guys just hurry up?" he gasped, feeling the contractions coming even closer. He gasped, wanting to push already.
OOC: Sorry. I use my laptop only so if wifi is down, I'm screwed as I was the past 2 days. Finally managed to connect it with the main computer.. BIC: Riku breathed heavily as the pains started to grow and increase in frequency. He groaned a bit. "Guys, can we speed this up already!? Where's my epidural!"
Riku was breathing hard, his contractions beginning to get closer as the hour approached. He searched for something to squeeze, preferably something soft and squishy to convey his labor pains..
Riku rubbed his stomach, still pretty upset with Mage. "Can I jusrt have the babies already?" he whined, looking impatient.
Riku held his tongue, hearing Sora's voice, He wouldn't argue with her now. Maybe later when the two were alone. "Look, let's just forget it.. Technically this isn't good for the babies anyway."
Riku had been so overfilled with emotion he had refused to speak until mage had come. Then he directed a glare at her. "What do you mean what we did? You're a magnet to danger. What did YOU do?"
