I don't really run into this. Actually, it may be present, but I don't notice because for some reason, my entire internet seems to slow down at night. It really pisses me off sometimes. So it's entirely possible that I might just be not noticing because of my own issues. Are you sure it's not just your computer/ISP/magical internet gnomes sleeping on the job?

I know I haven't been a part of the discussion thus far, but I just wanted to add my opinion. I think that it is important that staff are aware of how their visibility affects their approachability. However, I don't think there should be any rules set to restrict how they use the feature. They were responsible enough to make it to staff, I think they can be trusted with the visibility feature. It should be up to each staff member to decide how they can do their job best. If they feel they can do their job better by occasionally appearing invisible (like how Jayn was saying it could be hard to focus on staff things if you're constantly being messaged), then maybe they should be allowed to do it.
Except not all the ants will fit under a single bowl. And I have no idea what the aluminum foil is supposed to be for.

Web Design and New Media. Although I found out it was called Computer Arts and New Media a couple years ago, and that calling it Web Design was just a marketing ploy. EDIT: Huh. I actually just mapped it out, and I can graduate in 9 semesters (4.5 years) without taking a single summer class if I take 15 units (5 classes) every semester starting this spring. I think that's what I'm going to do.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my nervous breakdowns in high school came from taking on up to 4 Advanced Placement classes in a single year. Yeah, I could keep up with and understand all the material, but the workload was killer.
Trying to plan out my college classes and whatnot. Help me decide! Here's some helpful information: -In order to graduate in 4 years, I would have to either: --- Take 15 units/semester + 6 units/summer semester --- Take 18 units/semester + take summers off -In order to graduate in 5 years, I could either: --- Take 12 units/semester + 6 units/summer semester --- Take 15 units/semester + take summers off - I don't do well under stress. - My time management skills are iffy. - I want to enjoy college; I don't want to have nervous breakdowns due to a heavy courseload like I did in high school. - Tuition is per unit, not per semester, so the prices are roughly the same. - Financial Aid does not cover summer semesters. - I'm planning on having a job and being active in clubs and I'm thinking of being an RA some day because I love helping people. AKA, I will have other time commitments. - My mom is really pressuring me to try to do it in 4 years. Discuss.
It's okay, I've only seen Arietty and Ponyo. I haven't found the time to go back and watch the other Miyazaki movies. (I wasn't allowed to watch them as a kid becuase my grandparents assumed that anything that came from Japan was full of demons that would posess my soul.)
