I attempted to adjust my reading glasses on my face but then I realized I wasn't wearing any glasses so I poked my eye really hard and now I'm just sitting here with my right eye twitching uncontrollably trying to finish a paper due by midnight tonight

    how was your morning, khv?

Interesting, I found there were actually quite a bit of male cosplayers dressing up as Hetalia characters when it first came out years ago. But yeah, now that it's kinda died down, I also find there are mostly girls. Then again, the show is catered towards girls, so, eh.

Online classes are convenient methods to get certain credits out of the way, especially during the Winter and Summer sessions, so that you aren't bombarded with a lot of credits during the actual semester. It's also a great way to take them online if you are working full/part-time so that commuting and schedules aren't an issue. Hybrids also are beneficial in terms of scheduling and money.

I feel it also depends on the type of class. For instance, I found "easy-A" classes like Film Studies and whatnot to be a better way to lecture and learn about its respective topics than meeting in class with about half of the students merely there to fall in sleep in front of a projector, lol. But things like Math and Science are a no-go. It's kind of impossible to cram in the amount of information you would have to learn in a 3-4 month period within a 2-3 week time frame, so I don't really see the appeal in such. Unless that's your thing, it's exhaustive and mentally demanding during a time where you should be having a break. :x

I actually don't take that many online classes anymore due to the nature of my major, but glad that they are convenient and considerably cheaper.

Also I'd like my fake name to be Jim Henson, Age 22. Just 'cause.

For a good chunk of my childhood, I would eat peanut-butter and cheese sandwiches. Like, the single-sliced Kraft cheese.

And now I am who I am today. (.___. )

That sounds pretty effin' delicious. I shall try this the next time I make Mac&Cheese. :d

Sometimes I wake up from a 10 minute nap, feeling like I slept a healthy 8 hours.

Then I sleep for a whole 8 hours and felt like I just woke up from a 10 minute nap.

Life isn't working the way I want it to. ;c

According to the gallery comments by Nomura, it seems he's also awaiting for Utada's return, what with the double meaning of the menu screen at the bottom along with the theme of the painting lol. But still unclear if she will return with new content. Regardless, gives a little more hope for a new song. Kingdom Hearts III is still a ways off, so she may perhaps change her mind.

Ugh, literally the day after I pre-ordered KH 2.5, they pull something like this. DDD: Well, hopefully the artbook and the Heartless plushie will turn up on Amazon or eBay later in the future lol. $99 is tempting, but unfortunately too much for me to invest in, considering I already have 1.5 as well.

But anyway, glad that non-Japanese fans can have the Collector's Edition they deserve, haha.

Been listening to a lot of classical music lately. Really helps quell the road rage during commute. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY recommend peeps to see The Book of Life. Awesome visuals, decent story-telling, and Ron f*cking Perlman.

I thought they played too much on the fact that everybody is insane in the movie, which makes Natalie Portman's character seem not as abnormal as the script makes her out to be. But it's still entertaining to watch, especially the ending ballet sequence.~

Looks like I'm eating these virtual cookies alone tonight...

But anyway, curiously enough, the roster of games that my friend got in the class included Final Fantasy XIII, to which she mentioned that she and some of the class didn't react, well, positively to, lol. The class also will be exploring Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Diablo II, Fable I&II, Knight's of the Old Republic, Skies of Arcadia, the very first Final Fantasy, and then some Japanese-only titles. I guess judging from this general list, I think it's pretty fair in terms of the balance between East and West.

Also, I quite enjoyed the Project Destati's Light (well, at least from the few songs and samples that I had heard). I seldom am a fan of fan covers and whatnot, but I'm impressed. Makes me wanna pick up my flute again and play, haha.

    I feel betrayed
    By me
    Tomorrow I'm expected
    Tomorrow I'm expected
    Tomorrow I'm expected
But suddenly anxiety tugs my arms
    Sadness crushes my head
    Anger rips my hair
Their cages were broken without my knowing
    I feel betrayed
