That guy just ran back in there... Sure that bravery was impressive, but it hardly seemed like the smart thing to do. That was proven when he didn't come back out. "What's this key for? Who needs help?" Time to stand and pray it's not already too late. "There was a trap door where the others got stuck. If that key doesn't also open the door on the other end we'll have to go around the long way." OOC - Kills - Alliances - Injuries
“Why'd go to such lengths just to find a replacement?” "They wish to find someone worthy." "And what happens to those that lose? do we go back to our normal average lives once your out?" "Not quite." It did not appear that any clear answered were going to be given because once those statements had been said Adia was moving on to the next topic. "I need to explain the controls now. More questions can be asked once I have finished." The voice said, pausing for a breath before going on. " As this is said another image is projected before the static on of Adia. However this one is clear, crisp and seems to come from the ground instead. It is of the watch, and as each button is mentioned an arrow will appear to point to it. "First, the blue button. It is the map. Clicking once will show a full map which will appear like these images before you now. Clicking it twice will zoom into your current location. It will also give the locations of the other Players unless they are removed from the game or from play." Another pause. "The yellow will open the Purchase and Trade options. Just say which one you wish to do then the order. If it's a Trade you'll have to have the trading person available." This time the pause was a sigh. "Then the last command. This will summon one of us; Liv and I as well as a few others working under Ava for this game... Who answers depends on the day and time. And if they do not feel like answering they do not have to so keep that in mind." The voice stops again, this time long enough for it to be safe for you to assume they are finished again.

What was truly amazing was that the someone had just saved him. In this game where they were going to kill each other he was saved. This rendered his previous thoughts about only caring for himself and his memory a bit outdated. Or maybe I died. He felt so light. His head was floating, swarming with jolts. The shock left a tingling sensation throughout his body, though mostly his hand. That hand that felt so numb and was hard to move. Hopefully feeling in it returned with time... Stirring now, bobbing his head as his eyes began to flutter open, the sound of people talking began bringing him back. "What happened? And what's in that room...?" "Ethan. Ethan, hey! You in there, man?" The first thing he did when waking was cough. He was tempted to force himself to vomit, just to make sure all that gas was leaving his system. But even if he went through with it he was hardly conscious enough to do so. All the focus he could muster went into the words being spoken to him. "The key..." spurting, he finally managed to speak. "They're trapped. Key... I need the key." OOC - Kills - Alliances - Injuries
Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to see about starting this during the weekend, the day for it being Saturday. Hoping more people might join before then.
No good with the door, so moving away. The only other thing that catches his eye were some electrical boxes. There was a key...but around it were wires. Knowing keys it would probably shock him by touching it. If only he could cut it... Or maybe he was just being paranoid. But with gas and this dangerous game paranoia was good in his opinion. But in any case he didn't have anything to use here. He'll just stick his hand in his sleeve and, unable to properly grab it like this, try to see if it shakes loose.
At least the gas wasn't flammable enough that turning on the light set it all on fire. Was still dying at this rate though, so needed something to do. Well, back to what he was doing; going to the other door and trying to open it, least pounding on it if that fails to make some noise and maybe draw help.
Oh. Ow, right in the face. Well. What was that? He's gonna pull to find out.
With his history of locks Ethan wasn't going to try with the door behind him right now. That air couldn't be good, not with his reaction to it. He'll fumble around in the dark, heading across the room to try and find the other door and see if it'd open. If he doesn't hit something on the way there anyway.
If key was not here then it was somewhere else. Somewhere away from this room, in another, in the dark. Unless he could pick the lock that mean he probably needed to leave. And he was no lock picker. He tried, though. Grasping at the trap door repeatedly until his fingers were scratched up a fair amount. They were likely to bleed, but before then he stopped. This was pointless. Just as pointless as standing around here, so it was time to go. He isn't going back the way they came as but a different door, hoping whatever was done there was more helpful than harmful.
Okay not under the rug. Before the lights went out he noticed a chain as well, maybe the key was attached.
Suddenly he's alone in the dark, unsure what's going on with only a voice guiding him along. A key. He needed to find a key. Well... Keys are often left under a rug, so he's flipping it over to check.
life is actually happening? i'm still trying to post everywhere though
I still need feedback on the three options posted.
Ryou has been assigned room number 9. State of main door lock: strong, hard to pick State of bathroom lock: nonexistent Furniture: perfect desk, empty dresser, twin sized bed Weapon: an antique sword, easily broken
“why have we yet to even learn the name of our benefactor? If they are this wealthy to bestow all this money upon us, we must know the name from somewhere; and yet no one has told us who it is.” "I don't share their and Liv's idea on hiding that." The voice said, sighing. It then turns to you, or so it appears that way but it's hard to tell where exactly a static outline is looking. "It's bothersome... So I'll tell you; the name is Ava." This name is probably one you have heard before, Ava Industrial. What started out as a car company has expanded immensely after creating their first electric car. While doing so they merged with a computer software company, their name already written off as a footnote and it seems like everyone has forgotten it. Since the merge the company does almost everything now from TVs, computers, and watches. If you can recall you'll notice that their products are throughout the town down to the very alarm clocks used in the hotel.
She has to ignore the body. Giving it attention would only cause panic and maybe even vomit. It took everything just to hold back a scream, which ended up leaving her breathless yet again. Her focus instantly jumped to the light, giving it all to that rather than the boy. An escape... So close yet they had no way of reaching it. That only made everything seem hopeless so she couldn't look at it either. Turning she took a few paces away from the scene. If it were not for the spikes she would insist on trying to get up there. Angie would have surely failed to be the first one to speak, being far too shaky and in shock to do so. But there was something soothing in the voice of the one who did. Now pointing to the supplies Libby kept, giving it her all to stop her gaze from falling upon the deceased. "Was there..." If only she had practiced public speaking more before now. "A ladder....there..." There being the place where the stuff came from; the supply room. Hopefully they got that. OOC * Kills * Alliances * Injuries
__Day One. . . Weather: Cloudy with a chill Time of Day: Afternoon Health: Pained and Dazed Energy: Low Mood: Wary Location: Hallway The game has been saved... You have decided to... [X] Brave the hallways +1 cg It doesn't seem as if the light is returning anytime soon so you figure you may as well leave. They're just as dark, the lack of light outside helping little. But there's still enough to see the path before you. No one else is out here, the three students staying back in the classroom. That's a bummer, but you've already made it away from the door. Going back seems like wasted energy and motivation, and then you may not be able to build up the courage to leave again. So you keep going. You wish to leave, thus heading for the stairs as this is the second floor. However the moment you something catches your eye. It is a person, masked in the shadows. They're heading downstairs, their back turned to you so it is unlikely they have noticed your presence. You think it is best to... [ ] call out to them [ ] hide [ ] ignore and keep going
05 After leaving she decided that being lead of the group was not ideal, for if any danger came their way she would have to face it head on. But being at the end was also bad... Even the middle could have serious downsides. Oh. What a headache. But in the end no change of her position came as they braved the passageway, though it was a short walk. Dead end already... If it were not for Libby bringing attention to it right away it was possible that she wouldn't have noticed the danger until it was too late, but thanks to her that was not the case. Then Nolan's comment helped, bringing her legs to life as she turned to run back. OOC * Kills * Alliances * Injuries
“Since this is a game and you lose when you run out of money, what happens to the one left standing, the winner?” "The game master is rich and powerful." As if that much wasn't obvious enough already. "However they are reaching their limits here. So a replacement is needed. This game has been designed to find that replacement, granting them all the power and money they have if they win." Short and to the point.
