aw this is precious
I agree with this. Just the fact that the movie surrounds around a female character shouldn't mean that a male shouldn't be able to relate to it. On the other hand, just because a the main character is a female, doesn't mean a female can relate to her. For example, I've always related well to Princess Belle, Mulan, Kida, Merida and now, Elsa. The princesses as characters are pretty diverse. Regardless of the fact that we are both female, I can't relate to Ariel at all. And you're telling me that out of all these movies, you can't relate to a female character at all? They aren't all foolishly fawning over princes. Elsa didn't have a love interest at all, the movie revolved around her struggle to be accepted by other people and hiding herself away. These aren't concepts restricted to one gender or group of people. And by the way, not all Disney movies have princesses or female leads. Do you forget Treasure Planet, Hunchback of Notredame, Journey to Atlantis, The Fox and the Hound, Peter Pan, Tarzan, and Aladdin? And not all of the princes are completely useless, prince Philip battles a ****ING DRAGON. I have and can relate to the main characters in all of these movies. I'm a human being, but can still relate to the themes of friendship between a fox and hound. Kingdom Hearts...the main characters are Sora, Riku, and Kairi, but what has Kairi done besides get saved or live her life on the island? She doesn't contribute to the story at all or nearly as much as the boys do. I'm not going to complain about this, either. Sora is one of my favorite characters, and Riku is just as important. I wouldn't want the series any other way. I can relate to the male characters and not think twice about it. And what about Final Fantasy? There are many strong female characters, but we only got one game surrounding a female lead completely. And needless to say, I am not really a fan of the fan service that is X-2. As an industry video games are more directed towards a male audience...I MEAN JUST LOOK AT TIFA. Despite all of this, we still love games, and learn to relate to characters regardless of gender. It's all in the mindset of the person playing the games. And Fearless was right in talking about Harry Potter as well. A lot of book series that I enjoy have male leads. Actually, the Hobbit doesn't have a female lead AT ALL. And despite the fact I appreciated that they added Tauriel in the film adaptation, I was not happy with the fact they would take so much creative liberty with someone else's work. If I can relate to a book about all male characters, there shouldn't be a huge double standard with this. If we can accept media with male leads, you should be able to relate to media with female leads.
Since the movie came out this year, it's highly doubtful. It would be cool though I give ya that
Spoiler how dare u all

AW you guyssss yeah I think a lot of people can relate to Elsa to the extent of her hiding a part of herself away and then finally coming to grips with who she is as a person. I think that's part of growing up. I used to hide the fact that I played video games and watch anime away from some of my friends and now I'm open about everything and I mean they still don't understand it but they don't think less of me either WHY AM I GETTING SO OPEN AND EMOTION wtf guys
I cried because I relate to Anna and Elsa's relationship. My sister is always the one trying to make an effort and I'm always busy and rather cold. I kind of realized I was being a huge jerk to her for the past year. And to make it worse I'm going away for school next year. Plus I always cry during Disney movies lol
I don't like Demi Lovato's rendition but the song itself and the movie were both incredible. Also I cried. A lot
started from the bottom now we're... still at the bottom
I think the real question is: Why does she have to return???
im keeping it there
i just realized that has been my status for an entire year oh my god
I think YouTube is an awesome tool that people can use to achieve success, and I have watched a lot of my favorite channels become famous. I know makeup gurus are typically made fun of among the gaming community, but I've been watching Michelle Phan's channel for YEARS and she actually has a Dr. Pepper commercial out right now. IT WARMS MY HEART. Anyways, I'm glad to hear that. Wish you all the best. Let me know when you upload something
Demyx is so annoying but only because I suck at time trials because they give me such anxiety
