I started Pokemon y but I can't play online bc my sister uses animal crossing browser hacks that won't work if she updates the system software. so I might have to buy a 3ds sooner than anticipated I'm gonna have to look at the size difference between the regular and the XL. ive only ever used the XL. Nintendo refurb is like $115 tho that's not too bad I just should probably save my money this has been my Pokemon blog for the day
I have emulators on my computer and a hacked PSP I never use I don't really intend to use the virtual console thing. tbh I'm not much of a mobile gamer. I just want to play Pokemon and maybe some New Leaf.

so like, theoretically if I have a regular 3ds there may be games I can't play on it (only the new one) because of the different buttons? and yeah my boyfriend has x and y and I really want to try the new games. the most recent one I played was soul silver
oh yeah I really enjoy the gameplay it's just very barebones if you're not playing online can someone explain like I'm five what the difference between the 3ds and the new 3ds is? I haven't bought a Nintendo handheld since the SP but I want to get back into Pokemon. I can borrow my sister's 3dsxl but I might want my own down the line

if you want to play battlefront for more than like two hours then yeah you need online. the single-player is a joke. unless you want to do couch co-op, but even that is kinda limited also i think there's free dlc for the jakku maps so def dl that too
