Okay, that was a spelling error. Anyway, here's the next chapter. Chapter VII: An Old Friend or a New One? Riku's eyes slowly opened. He had no idea where he was or why. The last thing he remembered was getting hit in the head while he was talking to..."Xemnas!" he bolted up, looking around. He was at the crossroads. The same place where he and Mickey first set off from Castle Oblivion. "Calm down," a soft voice came form behind him. Riku whipped around to see a girl standing there. She was shorter than he was and had long brown hair with a couple green streaks in it. She also wore an Organization coat. "Who are you?" he demanded, gazing at her. His head gave a huge throb and he put a hand to it. "And what happenned anyway?" The girl knelt in front of him, putting down a bowl of hot soup. He caught her eyes and noticed they were aqua-blue. "Well, you were attacked from behind by a Nobody. Xemnas' original plan was to capture you and turn you into a Nobody but I managed to arrive in time to prevent that." Riku nodded in thanks. "That's great and all but you still haven't told me who you are?" The girl smiled. "I know. My name is Lyxime." "Lyxime..." he repeated the name. "And you're a Nobody?" Lyxime nodded. "So, do you work for the Organization?" Lyxime shook her head. "If I did, I wouldn't have saved you, would I?" she replied, raising an eyebrow. Riku shrugged. "I guess not," he admitted. "Well, I appreciate the help but I really got to go," he said, standing up. "Wait! I can help you," she called after him. "You probably can but sorry. I have to do this alone," Riku said and started to walk off. Lyxime followed him. "I know why too. You know, Emily wouldn't be happy with you right now." Riku stopped, staring at her. "What?" He said in shock. The Nobody smiled. "That's right. She said that you should let friends help and let them in." "There's nothing inside me but darkness," Riku snapped a little annoyed that this person knew so much about him. "I don't think that. Maybe you think so but the things you've done say different. I don't care if Ansem's inside of you. I care about you not him," Lyxime said to, gazing at him with kind eyes. Riku smiled at her. "You really remind me of someone, you know that?" He looked at her and his eyes grew wide. "Wait a minute! How could you know all this about me unless you're-" he stopped noticing that she was smiling. "Emily?" Lyxime winked at him. "You catch on pretty quick for a Twilight," she said and started to walk. This time Riku was the one who chased after her. "This is crazy. One of my friend's Nobodies is standing here in front of me. This was almost as bad as meeting Roxas." Lyxime rounded on him. "You met Roxas already? Well, did you capture him?" Riku shook his head. "I think I can help you there, my friend," she said with a smile and a Corridor to Darkness appeared in front of them. "Coming?"
Awsomeness!!! No story is complete without Riku's greatest enemy! (Well, in all my stories anyway, LOL)
Ha ha ha! Sugar rush! awsome! and update means post the next chapter ^.-
That's much better. Now only one thng is wrong...UPDATE!!!
Yeah, I kinda figured that out after I posted the chapter. Which kinda sucked! Anyway, here's the next chapter! Chapter VI: Meeting of a Nobody The first stop was Hollow Bastion. Riku needed to find out more about this Organization and DiZ hadn't told him anything. He appeared in an area full of shinning blue crystals. He looked at the only two way to go and went towards the more open area. Riku walked out to the area to see a huge castle standing in front of him. His heart skipped a beat. It was all that was left of Maleficent's castle. The place where he made his greatest mistake. A sound came from behind him and a group of dusks appeared, surrounding him. A Corridor to Darkness appeared outside of the circle and a man stepped out. Riku clenched the blindfold in his hand. The man had silver semi-spikey hair. He wore an Organization cloak and had tanned skin. But what stood out most was his eyes. They were fiery orange, much like Riku's. Only one thought came to mind when he saw the man. Ansem. The weaker Nobodies parted to let him through. They seemed to be almost afraid of him. "So, you are Riku?" Even his voice soundd like Ansem's. Riku summoned his keyblade but kept it lowered. "I am. Who are you?" He said, trying not to let fear creep into his voice. The man nodded as though he already knew the answer. "I think you already know." "I'm no good with riddles," Riku snapped. He glared into the orange eyes and saw something else. Something that wanted nothing more than to control and dominate. "No way...Ansem?" The man shook his head. "Very close. I am the leader of Organization XIII. Xemnas." At those words, Riku rioased his keyblade, ready for battle. "You think you can defeat me? You could not even defeat my heartless." "I've learned from my mistakes," Riku snapped back and charged at him. An invisible force sent him flying back again, onto the ground. "As I said, you cannot win so don't even try," Xemnas said and Riku stood up, trying to contain his anger so he didn't make a stupid mistake like that again. "I didn't come here to watch you die, as much as it would please me. I came here with a proposition." Riku dismissed his keyblade, knowing that Xemnas wasn't going to attack him. After all, he had business and didn't seem in the mood for a fight. "I'm listening," he said, patiantly. "I understand that you are on the quest to reawaken your friend, Sora. I can assist you with this." Riku raised an eyebrow. Yeah right, he thought to himself. Apparantly, Xemnas heard his thought and said, "We need him to do something for us." Riku glared at him. "And then you kill him, get his Nobody back so you can keep your stupid group together," he snapepd, angerly. Xemnas smiled. "Don't bother trying to be smart with me. Half our group is gone, due to you and your little key carrying friend. But back to the proposition. I would like you to join our cause without becoming a Nobody." Riku was half surprised, hald angry. "I seriously doupt it. I would never join you or anyone like you," he said, resummoning his keyblade. Xemnas shook his head. "How disappointing. I was hoping we could reach an agreement. I didn't want to do this," he said and snapped his fingers. Riku raised his keyblade, ready for the fight. He cut down three dusks with one strike and heard something coming up from behind him. Something hard slammed on his head and his vision went black.
OMG!!! That was one of the greatest fanfic I have ever read! (I escpecially like the fact that it's Riku and not Sora) Please keep writting! PLEASE!!!
Exactly! So yeah. Really bored. This'll be a short chapter and it's just Riku and Namine talking but it's a good intro to the next part of the story. Anyway, here's the next chapter! (Do I always say that?) Chapter V: Promises Riku stepped out of the Corridor, exhausted. He was in the computor room of the mansion and no one appeared to be there. He sat down on the chair of the computor and looked around at all the figures and status numbers. Much of it made sense but some of it didn't. The sound of soft footsteps came from behind him and Riku glanced over his shoulder to see Namine walking towards him. She stood behind him, trying not to make eye-contact. "So, you told him." Riku nodded. "He had to know. It was like not knowing about more than half of your life and I had a strong feeling that those Organization guys were keeping the truth from him." Namine sighed and gave a soft chuckle. "You could never lie that well, could you?" "I've become good at concealing my emotions from others. I wasn't before...you know..." Namine nodded in understanding. To think he still had family on Destiny Island or even a past life was unbelievable. "I always wanted to get off that island," he said sudennly. Namine looked down at him. "Now all I want to do is go back." "A little ironic, isn't it? I hope you do go back, some day," she comforted, putting a hand on his shoulder. Riku nodded. "But not before we fix things," he said confidently. "We? I thought you always did thing alone?" She commented with a sly smile. "I'm not afraid of asking help when I need it. By the way, I need you to cover for me," Riku said, lookng up at her. Namine nodded. "Where are you going? You know DiZ will ask me and if I tell him 'I don't know' he'll get pretty mad and think you ditched him." Riku stood up and walked to the door. "Tell him I'm trying to make a plan and find some help," he said and started to walk out. "Riku!" Namine alled to him, making him stop. She ran over to him and put something in his hand. "You left it behind, remember?" He looked down to see the black blindfold that he had thrown aside at the crossroads. "Don't give up, okay? Promise me that?" she said, looking into his eyes. Riku nodded. "I promise. And promise me that you'll help Sora as much as you can?" "Promise," Namine finished and walked back over to the computor. Riku turned his back to her and disappeared into a portal.
Kinda like this: A young boy could be seen sitting on a dock with his feet draped over the side. A gust of wind blew his silver hair into his deep blue eyes. He brushed it aside and resumed thinking. So much has happened since Sora and I have come back. I can’t even believe we went away. But we had to, still it seems like a dream. “Riku,†called another boy as he ran up. This young boy had blue eyes too but he had spiky brown hair. “Hey Sora,†said Riku “What is it?†“Nothing,†he said. Like that just so we know who's talking to who. Seperating the paragraphs when a different person starts to talk or think.
Oh wow. Someone caught that. That's why I said keyblade and not The Way to the Dawn or Soul Eater. I had no idea how to explain that so I just put keyblade.
Good start!!! Just try to seperate paragraphs when people are talking that way it doesn't look like a jumble of words. Other than that awsome!
Thanks guys, once again. I really need to think of more compliments since I give you guys the same ones over and over again. This next update will either be one long chapter or two medium chapters. And as always, none of my stories are true stories of K_T until he makes an appearance. For those of you who have read all my stories, you know who I mean. For the others, you'll find out. Anyway, here's the next chapter! Chapter IV: Nightmares Returning Roxas was in shock. He looked at Axel, half hoping that this was some kind of sick joke. The fire-wielder just looked at the ground and disappeared into a Corridor. Roxas disappeared as well, knowing full well where Axel went off to. He found Axel sitting atop the clock tower of Twilight Town. "Axel..." The other Nobody didn't even look. "So, now you know." "Why didn't you guys tell me?" Roxas asked, sitting beisde Axel. His eyes were fixed on the ground. "Why else? We thought that you might follow his footsteps and leave to save the worlds or something stupid like that," Axel replied, putting hatred into everyone word. Roxas sighed and looked up. "I just...I always knew that I was special. The way everyone treated me and how I was never aloud to leave the Castle. I just didn't think that I'm...you know." Axel nodded. "We should get back to the castle. We can explain to everyone what happenned," he said and stood up. Roxas stood up also. "Axel. What did Xemnas mean by Riku would try to wake up Sora, through me?" "I can't say. The Superior says alot of things that don't make sense," Axel replied with a chuckle and they both stepped through a Corridor to the World That Never Was. Riku stepped out of the portal, falling onto the soft grass that covered miles around him. What was he supposed to do now? Roxas now knows that he's Sora's Nobody which will mean that the Organization will put up a fortress of protection so that Riku couldnt touch him. This was starting to sound impossible. But you will do it either way. A cold voice rang through his mind. Riku sat up, trying to sense who was near him. You are searching in the wrong places, my little servant. Riku threw off the blindfold that covered his eyes. "Ansem," he breathed and stood up, looking around him. "Show yourself, coward!" he shouted, anger flowing through him. As you wish. A shimmer appeared in front of him and slowly focused. A man with sivler hair, longer than his own stood before him. Riku took a step back in fear. Orange eyes bore into him as though they were searching for something inside of him. Riku instantly summoned his keyblade and tried to cut through the heartless. It went right through him. Literally. It was like he was a projection. "Foolish boy," Ansem snapped, facing him. "I appear to you in this way because you wanted me to. In words you will understand, you cannot harm me." Riku glared at him. "I see my presence inside you has altered your appearance. I think I like the change," he said with a chuckle, making Riku even more angerier. "If your an illusion, then I'm out of here. I had enough with the real you," Riku snapped, turning away and started to walk. "You'll never be rid of me, Riku. No matter how much you run." Ansem's voice was still very clear. Like Riku hadn't moved at all. "I enjoyed your preformance with the keyblade master's Nobody," he commented, trying to raise Riku's anger. He defiantly knew what buttons to push. "Shut up! I don't want to talk about that with anyone. Least of all you," Riku replied, trying to ignore his shadow. "But I already know what plagues your heart. You want your best friend back. You want life to go back to how it was." Riku didn't answer because he knew Ansem was right. "I think you actually had fun ruinning someone's life. Even if they had no heart. Maybe more than your eyes is changing." Riku whipped around, facing him. "I'm nothing like you and I never will be!" He summoned a Corridor to Darkness, disappearing wihtin its depths. "We'll see."
Thanks guys! Don't worry, I'm just getting started! Anyway, here's the next chapter! Chapter III: Truths and Lies Riku appeared in the manson of Twilight Town, a little more relaxed. At least he found Roxas. But why hasn't anyone told him? Axel told him to keep quiet about Roxas' past but that wasn't going to happen. Riku walked up the stairs when he sensed someone behind him. "Riku, what have you done?" Namine's voice said in an accusing tone. "Nothing," Riku replied and kept walking but Namine put a hand on his shoulder. He felt himself stop. Namine always had that effect on him. Just like Kairi. "I'm meeting Roxas tomorrow night at Hollow Bastion," he said with a sigh. Namine's eyes widenned. "You found him? You can't just meet him somewhere like a get together. He does work for the Organization. For all we know, Xemnas could be planning a trap," she said, concern slipping into her voice. Riku pulled away from her soft grip. "Don't you think I've considered that?" he snapped and Namine looked at the ground, sad. "I'm sorry. It's just...I dunno." "He's inside you, isn't he? That's why..." her voice trailed away but Riku understood what she meant. He nodded, weakly. "Riku, I know Sora's your best friend but you can't put other people in danger just so you can have him back. Mainly yourself." "Namine," she looked up at the sound of her name. "All this is my fault. I have to put things right," he said and walked away. "Riku..." He walked out of the Manson and into Twilight Town. "Riku!" a voice called and he turned around. It was King Mickey. "Hey pal. Sorry about leaving you earlier," he said, falling into step with Riku. The boy shrugged. "It's okay. I didn't mind that much," he said and the King looked up at him. "Are you okay? I mean, I was inside the manson and heard you and Namine talking," he said, trying not to push for answers. Riku nodded. "I'm fine. We were just talking. That's all," he lied. "That's not what Namine said." "Oh." So the King had talked to Namine after he left. Typical. "Are you sure you're okay?" Mickey asked, worried. "I said I'm fine," Riku snapped and opened a Corrodr, disappearing within its depths. The Next Day In The World That Never Was... Roxas was pacing the castle, trying to figure out what that familiar guy was trying to tell him. Well, I'll find out tonight anyway. "Hey, little man!" An excited voice came from behind him. Roxas whipped around, half excited but then sighed. It was only Demyx. "You don't look very happy to see me?" He complained, pretending to be hurt. Roxas rolled his eyes. "Out of all of us, you are probably the most emotional one," he said and started to walk off to another part of the castle. Demyx followed him. "Now is that very nice? I'm kidding," he said, catching the looked on Roxas' face. "Anyway, I didn't come here to annoy you. The Superior wishes to speak with you." Roxas stopped, looking at his Nobody friend. "M-me? Did he say what I did wrong? If it was about that scorch mark on the side of the castle, that wasn't me," he said, defensively but started to walk towards the Superior's office anyway. Demyx shrugged, walking beside him. "It didn't sound like you were in any kind of trouble. He mentioned something about something you did yesterday when you and Axel went out." Roxas walked up to Xemnas' office door, scared. "Go ahead, little man. Don't worry. The Superior wouldn't dare kill you. You're too important," Demyx assured him. It didn't help very much. Roxas pushed open the door and peeked inside. "Y-you wanted to see me, Superior?" he asked, respectively. "Come in, Roxas," Xemnas said to him. Roxas looked back at Demyx who just gave a thumbs up. A lot of help that is. He walked inside, the door shutting behind him. Xemnas was sitting down behind a desk, his back turned. "I understand that you and Axel went out for a walk yesterday," he said in his cold, slow voice. Roxas bowed his head. "Y-yes, we did," he admitted. It was no use lieing. Xemnas could tell if the devil himself was telling a fib. "And am I also to understand that you ran into someone as you were supposidly completing a mission?" "Yes, Superior." Roxas forced himself to calm down. There was nothing to be scared about. As Demyx said, he was way too important to be killed. Severely injured yes but not killed. Xemnas turned around, glaring at Roxas with his firey orange eyes. "I'm sure he was most interested in you." Roxas didn't let his confusion show. "He was but who-?" Xemnas seemed to ponder on how much he should tell him. "The boy you encountered is named Riku." The word rang in Roxas' ears. Riku... "He is a strong fighter who is also a warrior of the keyblade." Roxas couldn't help but get excited. "But you told me that only Sora, the King and I were the keyblade masters." Xemnas glared at him, silcening him instantly. "I know what I told you," he snapped. "Until now, I did not think that Riku still had the power of the keyblade." "Still had? You mean he had it but lost it?" Roxas asked in shock. He had never heard of someone getting their abilities taken away. Xemnas couldn't help but admire the boy's curiousity. It reminded him of himself. "Yes. That is what happens when one steeps too much into darkness. I take it you've heard of the heartlesss, Ansem?" Roxas nodded. "He was defeated by Sora, wasn't he?" "Not exactly," he lead Nobody corrected. "The heartless had used Riku as a host for his power. This caused many side effects. I tel you this not to go hunting him, for he would probably kill you, but to put you on your guard. Undouptly, he feels that the final piece in awakening Sora is through you." "Through me? But, I don't understand," Roxas complained but Xemnas had already sent him out the door. Demyx was outside playing with a ball of water. "Hey, Roxas! You're still breathing!" He exclaimed, the ball falling to the ground. Roxas nodded and started to walk off. Demyx just shrugged and conjured another ball to play with. That night: Hollow Bastion Restoration Site... Roxas stood there, taping his foot, impatiantly. Although he had agreed to meeting Riku, he was not a fool. Axel, Demyx and Xigbar were ready to rush in, in case Roxas needed help. A Corridor to Darkness appeared behind him and Riku stepped out, gathering his bounderies. "You came," was all he said. Roxas nodded. "Yeah. Now what do you know about me?" He demanded. Riku smirked. "What makes you think I know anything about you?" "What do you mean?" He asked, taking a step back. Riku was about to reply when Axel dived down, throwing his chakrams at Riku. He dodged one of them easily, summoning his keyblade to black the second one. "Don't say another word, Riku. You're not taking Roxas away from us," Axel said, angerly. He caught both of his firey weapons, assuming a fighting stance. Roxas was confused. "Axel, stop! What are you talking about? I'm not going anywhere," he said to both of them. Riku's eyes were focused on Axel. "I guess Xemans hasn't told you, Roxas. Ever wonder why you wield the keyblade?" "Shut up!" Axel charged at him but Riku was ready. He blocked Axel's first shot, rolling out of the way. "Axel stop! What's he talking about?" Roxas shouted at his best friend. Riku jumped into the air, out of Axel's range. "Fine, if you won't tell him, I will." He turned to Roxas and summoned a Corridor to Darkness so he could leave. "Roxas, you are Sora's Nobody," he said and stepped through it, leaving Axel and Roxas alone.
Okay, after much thinking about this...I still have no idea what I'm going to do so we're going to make it up as we go! And you know what happens next: Anyway, here's the next chapter! Chapter I: Fights and Orders They stepped out of the portal. King Mickey, a small mouse, looked around. "Doesn't look like he's home." They were inside the manson of Twilight Town. Everyone who lived in the town thought that it was haunted. the perfect place for keeping Sora hidden. Behind him, Riku appeared. He had on the black cloak of the Organization. Covering his eyes was a black cloth. It didn't even matter that it was there. He could sense everything around him. Besides, he didn't want DiZ to see that happenned at the Academy. "He's downstairs, in the computor room." Mickey looked up at him, even though Riku couldn't see him. "Another ability?" The keyblader nodded. "You're really starting to freak me out here, pal." Riku chuckled and walked up the stairs, towards the basement. The King trailing behind him. Riku tapped the button on the electronic pad. "Yes?" A deep voice said as if out of no where. "You wanted to see me," Riku replied, getting annoyed with the mysterious man, very quickly. "Ah, yes. Riku, please come in." Riku looked down at Mickey. The tiny King nodded and walked out the door they came in. For some reason, he and DiZ couldn't get along very well. Riku walked inside and the door shut behind him. The only people he could sense in the room were DiZ, himself, and Namine. The young Nobody ran up to him. "Riku! You're-" she stopped sudennly, gazing at him. "You've changed and maybe not all for the better." DiZ was sitting on a chair working on his computor. He glanced back at them before turning back around. "Been spending a little too much time in the darkness, have we?" Riku didn't show any of his anger. "You're one to talk," he replied and DiZ laughed, making a few more keystrokes. "Why did you want to see me?" DiZ turned around. "Well, I require your...unique talents in a mission of sorts. With Sora out of the picture, I've set out to find a sort of replacement for him." This time Riku did show his anger. "Replacement? He's not something that you can just toss on the shelf and find a new toy, you know!" he said, temper rising. "Calm yourself," DiZ suggested, turning back to the computor. "Your anger was your mistake. Your jealousy your demise. I cannot have someone in my organization like that." "I'm not a part of your stupid group!" Riku shouted, stepping forward. "If you don't want my help then fine! I'm outta here!" He turned around, making for the door. Namine looked at DiZ with a cold stare, silently telling him to do something. "You won't even here what it is?" The keyblader stopped at the door. "I thought so. I need you to go to Organization XIII and find for me a boy named Roxas." Riku turned around. "Roxas? Wiat, that sounds like-" "Sora? I know. It is his Nobody." DiZ explained. "Nobody? I didn't even know. Does-" "Yes, his magesty knows." A silence fell between them. "Well?" Riku turned back around. "Find yourself another delivery boy," he snapped. "It would help Sora wake up." Riku stopped and glanced backwards. "You'll find him in The World That Never Was. I can open a portal for you if-" DiZ started but the keyblader was already out the door. Namine walked over, looking at the computor. "He has a lot of loyalty, I give him that." "I know. I only wonder how far he will go to save someone he cares about." "You think he will go back to the darkness?" "He already has begun to." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Chapter II: Axel, Xigbar and Roxas Riku stepped out of the Corridor to Darkness. The world he was in...it was amazing. The very feel of it made him seeth with power. He stepped out of the alleyway and heard voices approaching. He backed up, peeking around the corner. "Geez, lighten up Xigbar. I'll get around to it, eventually." "Eventually being the key word Axel?" "Exactly. I don't like to rush things." "If you keep putting it off, Superior is going to toast your firey hide." "What worse could he do? He's already suspended me from missions." "Well, if you keep your attitude up, he might reconsider." "C'mon Xiggy. You're up there in ranks. Can't you just give me and Roxas an assignment. The little man's getting bored." "And curious. You have to be careful around him, Axel. He knows you know something about his past life and he won't rest until he's squeezed it out of you." "Yeah yeah, keep your eyepatch on." "Axel... I won't hesitate in giving you a mission but you have to be careful on what you say." "Awsome! I owe you one big time, man." "Yeah, you do. Um...you can go and...I dunno...find stuff out on other worlds, I guess." "Oh, travelling? Excellent." "We had better get back up to the castle." "Right-o." The two voices disappeared and Riku felt it safe to step out. So there were two of the Organization. Axel and Xigbar. The one, Axel, had mentioned something about getting an assignment with Roxas. He had to find this Axel and Roxas so he could capture Roxas and bring him back to DiZ. This was starting to sound hard. After looking around five different worlds, Riku was starting to loose hope, fast. There were millions of worlds. How should he know what one they would be on? If Roxas was Sora's Nobody, that meant he would be naturally attracted to worlds that Sora had been to before. The next stop was Hollow Bastion. Riku walked down the empty street. Strange. Usually Hollow Bastion would have people wandering around, fixing up stuff. A large bang sounded from near the Restoration Site and he took off towards it. There was Axel and Roxas, playing around. Riku guessed that's what they usually did during an assignment. Axel was throwing fireballs, like baseballs and Roxas was trying to hit them as far as possible with his keyblade. Riku couldn't help but chuckle. This really was his Nobody. He jumped down, while maintaining his secrecy. He 'looked' around the corner. The two were done playing thier version of baseball and started to walk. They were too far away to hear so Riku had to get closer. He jumped back up, walking along the trail above them. "So, Roxas? Got any exciting plans for the rest of the week?" Axel asked, looking down at him. Roxas shrugged. "Not really. With half the Organization gone, things are getting boring. I was thinking of hanging out with Demyx tomorrow though." "Not a chance. He just upgraded his sitar." "Again? I mean what upgrade is this? 11.9?" They both laughed. It reminded Riku of how he and Sora hung out. Before all this. Before the keyblade. A black shadow rose up from the ground in front of the Nobodies. they pulled out their weapons; Axel using his two chakrams and Roxas using Olbivion and Oathkeeper keyblades. They easily killed the heatless and smiled at each other. Axel laughed. "Hey, we make a pretty good team. Nothing can stand up against us!" Roxas tapped him on the shoulder. "Nothing but that?" He said, pointing behind them. Axel turned around, eyes wide. A huge heartless had appeared. It wore black and silver armor and was easily five times the size of Riku. It had a huge thick black sowrd and the heartless symbol shown on its chest. Axel threw his chakrams at it but they bounced off, barely making a scratch. "This could be a slight problem." Roxas nodded. "Y-yeah." He said nervously. He charged at it, bringing his keyblade down on it. The huge soldier stumbled but stood up, slamming Roxas with its sword. He went down and Axel ran over to him. "I'm fine," Roxas said, standing up. Up above them, Riku was trying to locate the heartless' weakness. He finally found it. On its back was a weak point. About a foot in diameter. An easy target. He drew his keyblade and jumped into the air, stabbing it in the back. It fell down forward, in front of the two Nobodies who were in awe. The heartless disappeared in a dark cloud and Riku lowered his keyblade. Axel raised his chakrams. "Well, that was nice of you but we could have handled that guy," he scoffed and walked up to Riku. "Who are you anyway?" Roxas walked up and stood beside Riku. Why was this guy so familiar? He knew him although they had never met. "I'm the one who just saved you from being killed," Riku replied and saw Roxas' eyes widden. He did recognize this guy. Axel also looked at Riku with questioning eyes. "You carry a keyblade? You wouldn't happen to be Riku, would you?" Riku nodded. "You heard of me?" "Yeah, at Castle Oblivion. You were the kid that Vexen and his gang were trying to control," Axel said and his chakrams disappeared as did Roxas' keyblades. "I'm surprised you're still in one piece." Roxas was still looking at Riku. "Do I...have we met, before?" he asked, a little nervous and curious at the same time. Riku shrugged. "Well, not literally," he replied but Axel grabbed him and dragged him away from Roxas. "What?" "Be careful of what you say. Roxas still doesn't know that he's the Nobody of your keyblade hero friend," Axel said in a whisper. Riku 'looked' over at Roxas. "I wonder who would give that order." Axel looked at him. "The Superior. Well, his real name is Xemnas." "Xemnas...the sounds like..." Riku's head went down. "Ansem? Yeah that heartless was made when Xemnas became a Nobody? I hear you have a close connection with the Superior's heartless." "I wish I didn't." Riku walked back towards Roxas. "Listen, I need to talk to you but not now. Can you meet me here tomorrow night, around the same time?" Roxas nodded, looking confused but before he could say antoher word, Riku had disappeared into a Corridor.
Awsomeness!!! That is super good! I can't wait till the next chapter!
This story rox! Who ever thought Roxas would be so cute? LOL
Okay, I know I said I would write a sequel to Undercover but this is an excellent idea and I don't want to forget it! So here we go! Okay, here's a summary or more like a thing of what the sotry's gonna start out as. (Isn't that a summary?) Once again, it's a Riku-centric story. This is after Kingdom Hearts 2 just as they get the letter. Well, the title said this but you know, it'll be a combonation of FFVII and Kingdom Hearts revealing why Riku and Sephiroth look so similar. (Not that this is the reson they do. This is just something I made up.) Chapter I: The Letter From The King Sora, Riku, Kairi, First of all, a congradulations is in order. You guys did a great job with defeating the Organization. We plan on throwing a party at Radiant Garden but it'll have to be postponned. As you know, we left The World That Never Was but Maleficent and Pete were still there and they have taken control over the heartless. Good news, bad news. The good news is that there are no more Nobodies anymore, apart from Roxas and Namine. Bad news, we need your help again. Meet me at Radiant Garden. We'll talk more when you guys get there. I am yours most sincerely, King Mickey Sora lowered the paper, sighing. To his right stood his best friend Riku, looking more at the ground than the paper as Sora read it outloud. To his left was the girl he loved, Kairi who was looking at Sora with questioning eyes. Riku walked back over to the tree and sat down on it again. "Why didn't we think of them before we left?" Sora shrugged. "I dunno. Well, they kinda saved us from battling a tonne of heartless." "That's right," Kairi added, nodding her head. "We do owe them a little bit." "We don't owe them anything," Riku snapped. Sora turned away form them, looking at Kairi. They both knew why Riku had this attitude toward Maleficent. She was the one who got him involved in the darkness in the first place. She's the reason why his life is so twisted. Sora looked at the paper again. "Wait, we're supposed to meet the King there. So how are we going to get there?" He looked around, hoping something would happen because he said it. "Well, we have to think of something, don't we?" Riku said and Kairi looked at them with a mother-like glare. "What?" they both asked at the same time. Kairi stared at them. "You know perfectly well what. You guys haven't been home at all. Don't you think your family misses you?" Riku shook his head. "No. The islands came back and I didn't return so my family assumes that I'm dead." Sora and Kairi looked at him. "How do you know that?" Sora asked, astounded. "I did a lot more than look after you while you were asleep, Sora," was all that Riku said as a reply. "Like what?" Sora asked, tyring to find out again. This was his second attempt. The first time he asked, Riku said that it was none of his business. "I don't really want to relive that moment in my life just so you can know, Sora," Riku said, coldly. Sora caught the hint and looked over at Kairi, wondering if she had any ideas. "Well, his magesty wouldn't leave us here without a-" Kairi stared and a huge gang came form the water. A large wave rose and just grazed the top of the island. "-ship?" she finished and laughed. The two boys laughed also. A Gummi Ship had landed in the water just as she was talking. It was so close that they could walk up and touch it. Riku walked up to it and noticed a piece of paper taped on it. "I forgot you guys need transportation. Mickey." He read from the paper. The three friends laughed and climbed inside. Sora took the controls while Riku was co-pilot and Kairi just a passenger. "You sure you know how to fly this, Sora?" Riku asked, a little nervous. Sora nodded. "Of course I do," he said confidently and pressed a button. A laser fired, hitting a tree that went flying. The other two looked at him, wide-eyed. "Ha ha. Wrong button," he said and pressed the correct button. The ship rose into the air and they sped off towards Radiant Garden. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter II: Angels, Warriors and Darkness They landed on Radiant Garden, stepping out of the ship and looking around. The place looked that same as ever. They started to wlak when a group of soldier heartless appeared in front of them. They were about to destroy them when the town's defense mechanism destroyed them all with one blast. "Whoa." Way to keep it simple, Sora. They walked to Merlin's house and Sora pushed open the door. "Get outta here, ya bunch of heartless scum!" Cid's voice came and Sora felt something hard and metallic hit his head. "Oh, it's Sora!" Aerith shouted and ran over to him. "Are you okay?" she asked, sounding extremely worried. "Y-yeah. I'm fine," Sora replied weakly. Behind him, Riku and Kairi were trying not to laugh. They steppped inside. "Hey guys," Sora said giving a slight wave to everyone. Cid Highwind was working on the computor now, after hitting Sora in the head with a pole. Aerith Gainsborough was now standing beside Yuffie Kisaragi who was waving back. Squall Leonhart (Who prefered to be called Leon) was beside Cid and Cloud Strife was leaning against the wall, eyes closed. Riku and Kairi gave everyone a once over, having not seen them in a while. Well, Riku had never met any of them before. His eyes lingered on Cloud last of all and Cloud looked up at him, opening his eyes. They held gaze for a while before Riku broke away. Sora cut in. "So, have you guys seen the King?" "He's over at Ansem's study. You should head over there," Leon said and turned back to Cid's computor. Sora nodded and guided Riku and Kairi outside. They walked toward the study, encountering no heartless. Riku walked in first this time, opening the door. "Your magesty?" he called inside as the three walked inside the study. "Over here," A squeeky mouse voice called. They looked over to see the King of the Worlds bent over a book. "Hey fellas! I'm glad to see you made it alright." Sora nodded. "Yeah. No worries," he said, confidently. Riku rolled his eyes. "Anyway, why did you want us to come here first, Mickey?" he asked not caring about sounding formal. Sora and Kairi looked at him. As far as they knew, no one called the King by only his first name but they didn't fully know the relationship Riku and Mickey had entered during their time in the Realm of Darkness. Mickey looked up. "Well, mainly because I wanted to talk to each of you. Seperately." The three friends looked at each other before looking back at the King. "Don't worry. You guys aren't in trouble." He added, judging by the look on their faces. Riku and Kairi waited as Mickey talked to Sora first. The keybalde mastre wakled out of the room, giving a slight nod to Riku before Riku walked inside. He walked in and sat in the chair, across from Mickey. "I'm not telling them," Riku said right away, knowing why Mickey was going to talk to them. "Why not? They're your friends, Riku. You have to start trusting that they can handle what you've got to tell them," Mickey comforted. Riku groaned, putting his head in his hands. "How would I tell them? How am I supposed to tell Sora that I actually did enjoy spending time in the darkness? How am I to tell him about what I did to save him and most importantly, how am I to tell him that he is my father?" Mickey sighed, looking at him. "You'll find a way. Why don't you tell them now? It'd be better to get it over with sooner." Riku nodded and stepped outside the study, looking at the ground. Kairi made to go see Mickey but Riku stopped her. "I...I have to tell you something. Both of you," he said, not looking at either of them. Before he could say another word, a crash came form outside and they ran towards the noise. "What is that?" Sora asked in wonder. A huge heartless, resembling a giant boar had landed on the ground. Apparantly, the town's defense mechanism wasn't strong enough to kill it. Sora summoned his Ultima Weapon, Riku the Way to the Dawn and Kairi's new keyblade, Oathmaker. Across from them, Cloud, Leon and Yuffie were there. Together they managed to bring down the heartless before it destroyed any homes. Leon and Yuffie walked back to Merlin's while Cloud hung back. The three keybladers dismissed thier keyblades and walked over to him. Cloud turned to them. "You remind me of someone," he said to Riku. The keyblader of darkness gave him a confused look. "Really? You kinda look familiar too, now that I think on it." Cloud walked over, sword still in his hand. Riku took a step back, cautiously. Cloud brought his sword down, cutting Riku's bandage on his right arm. The other two let out a gasp. Riku's right arm had green strands of something running up it and finally disppearing near his elbow. He glared at Cloud who sheathed his sword. "Geostigma," Cloud muttered to himself. Riku summoned his keyblade. "Big deal," he said and brought his own weapon down, cutting off Cloud's left sleve. He had the same thing. "You have it too." He dismissed the Way to the Dawn. Cloud nodded. "Yes but why do you have it? Only those who-" he stopped sudennly and looked into Riku's eyes. "No way," he said actually showing some fear. "You can't be his-?" Riku nodded and walked away, not wanting to finish his statement. Sora and Kairi ran up form behind him. "Riku, what was he talking about? And what exactly is that?" Sora asked. Riku didn't answer for a bit. A silence fell. "This is why the King wanted to talk to me." Sora started to get frsutrated. Trying to get information out of Riku was like trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip. "But what is it?" he asked again. Riku stopped and looked out at Radiant Garden. "Sora. You asked me what I was doing while you slept. Well, this is part of it." He took a deep breath and Sora and Kairi listened hard. "It's called Geostigma. It only appears on a person when they have something called Jenova's cells inside them. Jenova is an alien from a world called Gaia. It's the world that Cloud is from which is why he has it too." "But you've lived on Destiny Island forever," Sora interupted. "I know," Riku replied. "I got it from my father." This sentence disturbed Sora since Riku had never known his father. The man his mother is with isn't related to him. He's just a step-dad. "My true father. See, when you were sleeping, I decided to try and find my father since I was told that he died and I didn't believe it." There was a pause. "I found him but it wasn't who I expected." Sora cuoldn't contain himself any longer. "Who was it?" he asked, eagerly. Riku sighed and backed up from him. "Sora, I had no idea that I was this. I hope you won't think I'm going back." Sora was confused. Riku, go back? He meant back to darkness but what is he talking about. Riku closed his eyes and took a deep breath. There was a flash of light and Sora and Kairi threw up their arms to block their eyes. When the light stopped they looked up. Sora was so shocked he felt like he going to faint. Kairi felt the same. Riku still looked the same. Well, almost. His eyes had changed. They almost glowed with magic and his pupils were like slits. But most noticeable of all was that he had something coming out of his back. It was ebony and almost three-quarters his hieght. It was a wing.

Okay guys. This is a story my friend wrote and I think it's okay so I'll put it on here and you guys can be the judges of that. Usual my stories are good so hopefully my friends and I share the talent. So yeah, I did NOT write this. My...I so am not putting this. Fine, I will. My sexy and awsome friend Mandaa wrote this. *washes tounge off* Chapter 1 "Sage, Darling, please speak to us." Sage turned a deaf ear towards her Mother, hands crossed over her chest stubbornly. She heard Mothers footsteps echo across the wooden floors, followed by the shut of a door. Sage let out an uneven breath, shaking terribly. It had only been - what? Two days? And they were already begging for her forgiveness? There was nothing to forgive! What they did was uncalled for; unheard of! Those.. Those.. "No.." she breathed out, teeth clenched, "Anger feeds." The door opened with an eerie creak, her younger brother. The little boy poked his head in sheepishly, looking over the corner at his sister. His brown eyes were wide and innocent, and puffy and red from crying. Had he felt the sadness she felt? She wondered absently. "Sage.. he.. dead?" the boy whimpered. Sage felt the tears rush into her eyes. The entire moment - the entire mistake - flashed before her eyes causing the heart wrenching terror of aloneness. Of knowing that you’re beloved has been lost. Had he kept his mouth shut none of this would’ve happened.. They would’ve lived peacefully, even with the hostility of being caught. It added danger to their lives, added excitement into their love.. Ah, the fragilities of life. She felt the little boys warmth before she had realized she had opened her arms for him. He came quickly, and cascaded herself into her arms, crying heavily. Is this what it’s like to be a Mother? She thought wearily, wiping her eyes. Her hand stroked the top of his head gingerly. "Hush.." she muttered, "Hush.. All is well, Little Jack." He shook violently in her arms, sobbing so loudly that Sage thought the entire household on this side of the River could hear him. She held him tighter and began rocking back and forth while murmuring sweet words into his ear. Two days.. My God, only two days? It felt much longer. The days were dreadful. It was mechanical. There was no more spunk in her life, no more spark. It was as if someone had came and dumped the entire damn ocean on the little flame she clung to for life. She couldn’t wake anymore to his face, or see his smile.. kiss his lips. No, that was gone from her, for eternity. Just how long was an eternity? She had sworn to see his face the other day, the day after his demise. She heard him announce himself to the family. The exact words he had said before it happened. "I love Sage!" he announced earnestly, hooking an arm around her waist. "And I won’t let man or God get between her and I." "You fool!" Sage screamed out, startling the calming body in her arms. In turn, he began to weep again, in unison with her, "You bloody fool!" she sobbed loudly, tears warping her words. I love Sage! The words echoed painfully in her mind, like the repeated beatings of a torturer. I love Sage! Emotional Blackmail. I love Sage! "Shut your trap!" she shrieked, "I love you! Do not do this to me!" Little Jack squirmed in Sage’s arms, but she did not feel it. Not until he had wrapped his own around her waist and squeezed tightly, head pressing on her chest. "I love you." he whispered, "I love you, Sister." Sage calmed, her muscles relaxed. She stroked the top of Jack’s head, eyes shining. "Yes, I know you do, Hunnie." she smiled half-heartedly, "I love you, too." **** The Garden was a marvelous place. It was the only place that she felt completely at peace, away from the hustle and urgencies of the homestead. There was no need for worry in the Garden. The insects minded their own business, and occasionally did stop by your person to say their own friendly greetings. And there was no fear for animals, unless one feared a bunny rabbit. There were various sized cobblestones in a path that had wedged themselves into the ground over time. The path of rocks had no specific pattern, only wherever Mother Nature had decided to plop them in. Sage jumped onto the stones one-by-one, remembering how him and she used to play games through-out the stones. They had pretended that everywhere else was cursed ground, ground that would kill you if you stepped upon it. So you must jump from stone to stone, to save your life. She firmly placed one foot on the "cursed" ground, stomping it in violently, then sighed. Seems as if the ground lost its curse along with his life. If it was really cursed, she would be venturing through the spirits with him, and being happy once again. She would be away from this world and it’s pains. Sage stomped the ground once more and huffed. The game had lost it’s fun spirit. There was no one left to play it with her. She made an exaggerated movement that was border-line between agitation and grief. She turned her head upwards towards the sun, the light illuminating the golden brown-red hair of hers. The wind picked it up lightly about her shoulders, hovering it there for a few moments, then resting it dove-like back. There was a flicker of movement in the trees. The smaller birds chirped loudly and flew off from their nests in a display of colourful confetti. The larger birds squawked irritably but stayed their ground. There was a small cascade of black feathers as one - or more - bird were snatched up as prey. Sage narrowed her eyes and raised one hand to block the sun from distorting her view. What the hell was that thing? She thought to herself. It moved quite stealthily through-out the trees, and noticeably quiet for its large size. She caught a glimpse of its body, or at least a part of it. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. It was completely flat, with glimmering sheets of skin on it that seemed so delicate in contrast to the rest of it. Large tubular veins - she believed they were - held the shimmer together. It opened gracefully, and just peaked over the trees. The rest was lost in the clutter of wilderness. She opened her mouth to speak. Moments passed without sound, only the steady beating of her heart and the deep pants of her breath. She closed her mouth. There was no word to describe what she had just seen. It was beautiful yet grotesque; frightening yet peaceful; gentle yet so dangerous, all at the same time. It stunned her beyond the comprehension of her mind. Sage felt a strange sense of kinship with the large creature. Even though she could not identify who - what it was, she felt attached to it. As if she was a mouse lead to decadent cheese, she began to approach the forest. Slowly at first, but gaining in speed quickly. Carefully she stepped over rocks and twigs, steering herself away from crunching grass and staying a good distance from any animal she could startle yet the beast seemed to jump at her presence. Golden eyes narrowed at her through the trees like a larger version of those ridiculous ear bobbles her Mother made her wear every so often. She flinched, halting her advance. She wrinkled her nose at the smell of something foul, and closed her eyes against the bright glare of sunlight across its.. teeth? Sage felt herself wobble in her spot. Holy God, was the thing going to eat her? What the hell made her come towards it in the first place? "Um.." she gulped loudly, shivering. "I. . . I will not harm you." It bucked as if it was a horse and let out a piercing roar causing Sage to scream. Abandoning all pursuit on the new beast itself, she swerved around and ran for home, heart hammering in her ears.
It's the end...or is it? Since this went so well, I'm so not ending it here! The next one will be up soon with the first two chapters. It'll be after this featuring things like when Riku had to go get Roxas and what he did while Sora was awake. It'll go from the end of this story to when he runs into Sora in The World That Never Was.
Hee hee. Sora and Kairi sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G! That would be funny if Riku and Tidus and all their friends were spying on them while they were kissing and sudennly popped out, scaring their pants off.
