Oh the wait is killing me. July needs to get here quick. Oi, now that KH3D is done and released, what do you guys think will be next? KH3 or a game that stars Riku as the sole playable character?
No, it was put on hiatus so he could work on the 358/2 Days manga.
I hope the 358/2 Days manga ends soon, so Amano can get back to working on the Kingdom Hearts II manga. I also hope that someone, like Yen Press, will pick up the KH manga series since Tokyopop is just fail.
Here's hoping to a remake of 358/2 Days. It might make it a little more playable/enjoyable. I mean, it worked for Chain of Memory and Coded.
Oh Julius is going to be a ***** to fight. I wonder how he got into Traverse Town, 'cause obviously he would be a resident of Disney Castle/Disney Town considering his origins.
Unlocking the secret movie just by playing beginner mode? ...That kinda seems like a let down, to be honest. I mean, in all of the other games, one could just unlock the secret movie just by getting everything in Standard mode or just beating Proud mode (the former actually being the harder of the two to accomplish). As to being the masterpiece of the series, final judgment should not be passed until one actually plays the game. Birth by Sleep was considered a masterpiece, but there were some things that it could have had to make it better. Examples being: 1. Being able to visit Atlantica as a way to explain how the hell King Triton knew about the Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts. 2. A boss fight with Lea in Ventus' story mode. Ventus got gypped when it comes to boss fights as Terra got to fight Braig while Aqua fought Vanitas in Radiant Garden. Ventus also could have had a boss fight in Olympus Coliseum as well. 3. Boss fights in Disney Town. Terra and Ventus could have fought Unversed bosses, while Aqua took on Pete/Captain Dark. At least with that last part, it would have been a legitimate reason for Pete to be locked away, unlike the stupid reason Minnie locked him away for. 4. The world based on The Jungle Book liked they planned to have. There were not enough worlds to visit and not enough new worlds to the series in BBS. Small as they may be, those are my main gripes with BBS. Other than that, I liked the game (mainly Aqua's story mode).
Maybe, but remember that a lot of the Org. XIII members changed a little in appearance when they became Nobodies, so there could be a very small chance that Luxord had gold eyes when he was a Somebody.
Alright then. After reading that passage of the interview, Luxord came to mind as he is the only character in the series who can manipulate time. The possibility that his Somebody has a bigger role in the series than we thought is an interesting aspect.
I could honestly care less about the secret ending (mainly because there's always a secret ending in KH games). I'm more psyched that Chernabog is back. I can't wait to kick his ass again. Maybe he'll finally have a journal entry this time around :3
Never going to happen. If anyone has noticed, all of the Disney worlds in the KH series are based on movies that were actually successful. Last time I checked, Treasure Planet did very poorly when it was released.
I still don't understand how the Tron Legacy world is separate from Space Paranoids. It doesn't make sense to make it as a separate world. As for the Fantasia world, I thought Yen Sid's Tower from BBS and KHII was the Fantasia world. Granted it was a very small world, it still had something to do with Fantasia. Either way, here's hoping that Chernabog returns as a boss. Lastly, there are three completely different Mickeys in this game. I sense a paradox.
I don't know. They did say all Disney worlds in this game are supposed to be new, so that takes out Atlantica (which might be good considering what they did to it in KH2), and I don't think a world based on Finding Nemo would fit in Kingdom Hearts. We're probably going to have to just wait and see if it is a new world or not.
One thing I noticed was that few of the screenshots, the ones with Sora fighting penguin-like Dream Eaters, looked like they took place underwater. Could this mean that there's another new world that has yet to be announced or am I missing something? Also, anyone ever notice that Sora tends to visit France a lot in the Kingdom Hearts series? Beast's Castle, City of Bells, and the Musketeers' world all take place in France.
I can't wait. It's going to be fun to fight some of these characters as it's obvious some of the bosses in the game will be Frollo, Captain Pete, Clu, Joshua, and maybe Monstro and Braig (if Lea and Ienzo are back, there's a chance Braig came back as well). Speaking of the Nobodies, maybe we'll get lucky and learn more about Demyx, Larxene, Luxord, and Marluxia. They are the only ones whose Somebodies are a mystery.
There's a Tron Legacy world? Hell yes! But I thought they said all of the worlds would be new in this game. Wouldn't this be a return to Space Paranoids?
...Okay, I'm a little confused on this one. Some of you are calling this a "dream world", meaning it doesn't actually exist. Now, does that mean all the worlds in this game are "dream worlds" and don't actually exist or just some of the worlds? 'Cause I would find it a little disappointing if Neku and Quasimodo were just figments of the dream realm in the same style as anything from Castle Oblivion. Also, I laugh at how Captain Pete is more heavyset than the original Pete.
