Wow I totally don't mind this long post at all. This is the type of juicy information is what I'm looking forward to. The theory is almost perfect giving the reader a gust of adrenaline running through his body. That and the fact that I love your Demyx signature and quote. I did once ponder about the resemblance to a Knight's armour that Xemnas's True Form has and I do believe it plays a vital link to the next being. Sadly, i put it aside and didn't look upon it for sometime now until you mentioned it again. But it does add a spicy hint that Xehanort could possibly that "Knight" in the new trailer. Anyways, you have proven how powerful Xehanort is (by 'giving birth' to a Heartless not solely ruled by instinct and a Nobody not solely intent on being able to feel), and thus you theorise that Xehanort is looking for a "Higher Being" than Nobodies / Heartless / Keybladers etc that is rare and "awakened" in some form. This is truly an interesting theory (esp in relation to Sora). Firstly, as you've mentioned Axel has managed to "awaken" something in HIM (either Roxas or Sora it doesn't matter as it refers to the same person). Secondly, now that you mentioned it, Sora manage to "awaken" from his Heartless state and revert back to his "Somebody" form. With these 2 "awakenings", and the rumour going on about the Room of Awakening, one really wonders if in this Kingdom Hearts series, Sora will achieve some form of "true awakening" that Xehanort so frantically searches for. However, how will he achieve it? Perhaps by going back into the Past and re-living the Keyblade War or perhaps by entering the Room of Awakening. Moreover, what will this Awakening do to a person who has Awaken from his Heartless and Nobody state? A new being? Such infinite possibilities it just gets me tingling with excitement!! What do you think? P.S. Xehanort in a sense has achieved a "Dark Form" of "Awakening" where his Heartless overcame instinct while his Nobody overcame the need to feel by focusing on imaginary Anger and Hate, both driving themselves in search of something even though their original body is gone. Incredible, simply incredible!
Personally, (like Rey Alejandro) I like all of them hehe but here's my ranking; 01 - Demyx = All time Favourite: Dorky Waterboy, always hiding his potential 02 - Xaldin = Skilled wielder of SIX lances & Wind creating impressive techniques 03 - Lexaeus = An enduring & powerful warrior that speaks only when necessary 04 - Axel = Manipulative, fiery & a warm buddy everyone hopes to have 05 - Marluxia = Effeminate but very elegant & deadly wif his scythe / flowers 06 - Roxas = Emotional & lonely but a strong boy & utterly adorable 07 - Saix = Hides his savageness under a calm exterior. A dangerous animal 08 - Larxene = A sharp-tongued gal but a femme fatal wif quick reflexes 09 - Xigbar = His special, attacking from all sides with multiple bullets is attractive 10 - Zexion = Trickster, thinker quite weak but still suave in papercuts 11 - Luxord = Don't think much of him except for his card attacks in battle 12 - Vexen = Mere scientist, i find his constant blocking wif his shield cowardly 13 - Xemnas = Irritating & overconfident who has nothing "original"
Alright, it seems that this query has been answered by Deathspank's recent KHII:FM+ cutscenes. It seems that there are only japanese vocals and thus if you play with the english vocals, the new cutscenes will have no vocals. As suspected haha. But thank god they have some sort of voicing, it sounded and looks better.
In conclusion, are you theorising that Xehanort is an exceptional strong Somebody that gave birth to not only a powerful Heartless but also to an unique Nobody (namely Xemnas) that is able to seek out it's past memories (through the Room of Awakening/Sleep) to fill complete? Very intriguing a theory but I'm curious as how it relates to the speculation of a 3rd being. Are you hinting that the next being comes from those Rooms? Or is a further evolution of Nobodies if they find those Rooms? Seriously, I look forward to your answer, Kanji. The way you phrase about Heartless and Nobodies (in the posts before) is astounding, i really want to hear your thoughts on this. :p
Hmmm I think Kanji's theory regarding the Room of Awakening is very unique and interesting. Thus (in relation to your theory), I think a Nobody is incomplete not only in "emotions" but also in "consciousness" or in "memory" and that might be the reason why Xemnas is searching for the Room of Awakening. While the rest is focused on only trying to get back their "feelings", it seems that Xemnas is after more than just Kingdom Hearts (as hinted in the new cutscene between Xigbar and Zexion). OH! and I'm impressed by lordrevan44's guess to the next form, these soul(chasers) not a bad idea in fact. Yay more people expressing curiousity on the next army horde in Nomura's fantasy hahaha. BTW alot of people are mentioning about the "Knight's Armour" in the Room of Sleep.. That's an interesting "Wild Card" that I do wanna know how to piece it into the creation of the 3rd Being or these Chasers. Anybody wanna try speculating?
Well, i haven't really read through the Ansem Reports.. though I doubt there's much about Nobodies since his reports was more towards the Heartless yes? Thus far, i only know that Yen Sid mentioned Nobodies are just "shell of the bodies" of the people who lost their hearts. "While Heartless rely on instincts, Nobodies can think and plan on a higher level" that somewhat Yen Sid says. So I can't really tell id the consciousness is in the Nobodies or that's a totally new conscious (from their originals) they're carrying. BTW skellingtondan; Yep body, soul & heart.. i mean there are other "parts" like mind etc, just speculating what would be the next "installment" of the villains' main army.
WOAH! I've been searching high and low for a "symbol" on them. MAN! Did ya beat me (to it) good! HAHA but really, even if it's speculation thank you for posting this! Splendid observation and comparison skills!
HEY! This could very well explain why that "Dark Knight" looks soo healthy in physique (since it's made out of the memories fo the Bald Guy in his Youth!). Wow! maybe 'Memories of the Mind' is the next 'main dish' for Nomura.
OKWOAH! I soo didn't saw this coming hahaha but MAN! this is interesting. btw Thir13en, nope you didn't mess up, in fact it kinda brings up a few interesting topics. We see before us 2 different symbols in a rather similar diagram. This could mean that at the same time when A Heartless and A Nobody is born, 2 different 3rd beings could be born. MAN! Doesn't just this makes you guys BOIL with excitement and anticipation?! Hahaha
Your theory is interesting; "With the combination of the Originals and their Nobodies, a Chaser is born from the lost energy of that fusion" It might work in the case of Sora and Kairi where the Chasers do have a resemblance to them but for Riku, I do believe the physical traits are far too different to compare to him. Moreover, it is mostly speculated that all that happened in the past as th secret ending potrays scenes that of the Keyblade War, Memory of Xehanort (along with other phrases) etc which is all in the past while your theory is set in the future. Thus, why do you theorised as such? Of course, I'm not denying that your theory is feasible but please clarify my critics, I would love to see your explanations.
Hmm you're right Memories can possibly the 3rd part. I mean this could be the reason why Xehanort doesn't have any memories when Ansem found him. It might be because the "Tall Knight" rejected Xehanort's poession and totally separated away from his body (along with his memories). Justifying why the "Tall Knight" that Sora fought hated Xehanort yes? Yea I was thinking of either Mind (relating to Memories) or Soul (relating to Will? Destiny?) since the Empty Shell of a Body became a Nobody & the Darkness in the Heart became a Heartless. My mindset so far: Heartless = Darkness of the Heart Nobody = Emptiness of the Body ??? = Memories of the Mind / Soul
Why did you USED to think? What about now? Did you stumble onto any info that maed ya change ya mind? Do share, do share :D Well quoting from Storrini; http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t79/Roxllen/RoxasDrawing.png I don't think that "Crown" symbolises Sora. Sora's crown symbol is the one he wears on a necklace around his neck.
*facetable*...you Mindless Drone... :D
AH! I've been wondering about this as well (since I'll never get to play the game) Soo any players out there know the reason? Or is there an option to switch it to Japanese vocals or something?
....You know at first I wanted to kick ya for that... But now that you mention it.. if you combine a heart + a heartless + a nobody = a "human"... but don't tell me nomura is gonna make the next KHIII like his Final Fantasy series n you fight humans?.. boring won't it be? Oh and btw.. wth.. *KICKS YA* XD
I definitely agree with your elaboration on their nature however I'm steering towards "where the Heartless and Nobody came from when a person lose his heart" not "why they act as they act". Well a 3rd being might not exist haha but i'm just going with my gut feeling. I mean relating to the symbols Roxas drew (in The Haunted Mansion of Twilight Town) that hinted me of a possible creation for a 3rd being. Yepyep, similar to that Trinity Theory you said, (like how a Heartless came for the Darkness in one's Soul and the Nobody came from the Emptiness of one's Shell of a Body) perhaps the 3rd being could came from the Wandering Consciousness of one's Mind or (like you said) perhaps the Lost Fate of one's Soul or something I mean Nomura definitely needs a new hoard of footsoldiers rather than just Nobodies and Heartless for the new sequel right? :p
I thought and agree with this theory. Well as for a similar factor amongst Kairi and that "Female Knight", (again) it's the hairstyle. Her hair has a longer fringe on one side: the right side, just like Namine and Kairi.
Hey, just wanna ask. Deathspank, will you guys be uploading the entire Orgy XIII re-fight videos? Sorry if i'm heavily reliant on you guys, i just don't have any console nor the game itself... soo ermm Thanks alot for the videos etc ^__^
...
Alright, with all these theories going on about Xehanort and the 3rd Symbol that Roxas drew, there's a certain question that I'm pondering about and would love to hear opinions from you guys (all critics and speculation are welcome) The above theories did hint that the "Knights" / "Chasers" might be the 3rd Being after Heartless and Nobodies. Thus when a person loses a Heart and his Soul becomes a Heartless while his Body becomes a Nobody... What part of that person will become this 3rd being / "Chasers" / "Knights" ? Personally, since Soul & Body are taken, I guess the next possible "thing" would be the Mind? or maybe Conscious? What do you guys think? OOT: After reading soo many theories.. I'm tempted to fan-made my own Heartless, Nobody & "Knight" Hahaha
