KO’d in one hit, just like the others. Therity wasn’t surprised as the bolt of energy struck her body, making her go limp. This Ezekiel guy was much more powerful than anyone she’d ever known, and much more powerful than she’d ever be. As soon as her head hit the cobblestone street, a series of images flashed through her unconscious brain.

    Seven years old.

    Running, laughter.

    Abigale. The treehouse.

    Kidnapped.

    Burning.

    Don’t do it.

    Don’t do it.

    Don’t do it.

    Kill.

Therity woke up with a start as Evanora healed the rest of the guild. She looked up to see that the essence of Ezekiel had disappeared, replaced with a form similar to that of one of her guild mates. Interesting. Therity stood up as the first of her allies relaunched their attack on the evil mage. A deep sadness clouded Therity’s mind, but a strong anger quickly replaced it. Those memories were supposed to stay buried under the barrier that separated Therity’s past from her present and future. Emotions were supposed to stay under that barrier too, that barrier that she had spent years trying to build and strengthen. And now it was cracked. Memories had leaked. Thanks to this Ezekiel asshole. He’d pay alright. As new strength filled her limbs, Therity pulled the ground beside her where it had dropped earlier and raced towards the now-human mage, revenge her only goal

Well shit. This Ezekiel guy was pretty freaking strong. Eliminating someone in a single hit like that... Impressive display of power. Pretty freaky, honestly, but impressive nonetheless. As she watched her fellow guildmates attack, Therity considered their motives. Many, if not all, of her allies had pure motives. They probably just wanted to avenge the destruction of their guild as well as the loss of their guild mate, even though many, including Therity, hardly knew him, if at all. In their eyes, killing somebody in cold blood was morally wrong. Therity could understand why they would think that, but being a sociopath, morality rarely effected her actions that way. She was in it for the power, which would only increase if she attacked. Sighing, Therity pulled out her sword and cleared her mind of all thoughts except for the battle. Without flinching nor hesitating, she ran at her foe, swinging her sword skillfully as she neared its essence.

Therity looked around. Every other group seemed to be full, so she sauntered over to Mikasa's group, which had the least number of people. Strange. She had to say, Mikasa did look pretty pissed, but there's no way she would take it out on her fellow guild mates. She seemed way too professional for that. Unafraid, Therity stood by the rest of them calmly as she prepared to head out.

Therity noted Johanna's shock at them not needing help. Pssh. Nobody will need help as long as I'm around. Nothing can get past me, she thought as she brought up the rear of the procession that was headed to the guild hall. Never know when someone can turn on you. Therity wanted to be prepared if it ever happened. (Not that she thought it would; She doubted anyone in their right mind would ever attack her.)

The threats of this Yana chick didn't phase Therity. Threats and insults were just a part of battle for her. It did, however, clearly upset Lucia. Therity released a small smile before following Lucia into the battle, starting with a roundabout kick to Yana's face.

Therity was healing herself even before this girl Lucia had suggested it. She didn't need the guidance of anybody but herself, much less someone of the same ranking. Therity knew what had to be done; if another wave came, she had to be prepared. And being prepared meant being in the best health possible. Therity raised her hands from her waist to the top of her head, and a green, shimmering aura spread around her body until it surrounded it for a brief moment before dispersing into the air.

Therity grimaced as her flesh was... consumed. Typical undead. Her flesh caused it to regain heatlh, and that was not okay. What was less okay was the damage it had done to her. She began to heal herself, but realized that if this thing didn't die now, it would damage her again. Her flesh was too good for no good zombies like that one anyways. Ugh, Therity thought. I hate the undead.

The mage dude was strong - really strong. He beat all of the S-Class members in a single post, which was pretty impressive. However, Therity wasn't afraid of him. She knew that she could beat him, with (or without, she'd like to think) the help of her fellow guild mates. Another woman seemed to be taking care of the crocodile, so Therity figured she'd do well to not steal her spotlight. Furthermore, she'd like to create a spotlight of her own, which would hopefully outshine the previous.

Therity winced slightly as she took damage. Ouch. With her sword now drawn and her fire attack not having done any real damage, she figured it was time to show this shadow what a real fight was like.

Ok. She knew this battle was coming, so the fact that a random crazy shadow thing appeared out of nowhere, accompanied by some screeching. What did this spirit even want? What did their group have to offer that the shadow craved? Ah, well. Fighting was better than diplomacy anyways. As
Therity unsheathed her sword with her right hand, she ignited a ball of blue and white fire in her left and shot it at the middle of the shadow's form.

Therity was really out of it today. She didn't really feel any emotions towards anything, which wasn't unusual for her but she literally just stood in one place as everything happened around her. As the lights started flashing, however, she blinked for the first time in about an hour and looked towards the ceiling. Well ****. If this whole scenerio wasn't crazy enough before, it was about to escalate pretty quickly.

(Picture may or may not come soon.)

Therity had skipped the guild meeting.

She honestly didn't have any interest in meeting a bunch of people. She'd meet them on missions and quests anyway, so there was no point. Instead, she made her way through the halls. As she passed by the guild hall doors, she heard many a shout and groan, but ignored them. It was probably just some sort of friendly competition; the people in that room had just met, so she doubted they hated each other already. Eventually, she reached the girls dorms. She checked inside each one, and then found the only one that was completely empty. Climbing onto the top bunk of one of the beds, she pulled a book out of her bag, which she sat next to her, and began to read. The book was a large, worn one, consisting of ancient myths and stories of old.

Some time later, a young girl entered the room alone. The young woman had beautiful, long, golden hair and a slender body. She turned away as the girl changed into a silk gown in order to preserve her privacy before watching place a few shells on the shelf below her bunk and straighten her hair. Soon enough, another young lady had come in. Neither had noticed her yet, which wasn't surprising. In the darkest corner of the room, the black of her cloak could easily hide
Therity in the shadows. She watched and observed as the two females interacted with one another, and followed the newcomer, Lucia, with her eyes as she climbed to the top bunk opposite her. As Lucia and Calxiyn continued to converse, Therity went back to reading a story about dragons.

    22

    Description:
    http://i.imgur.com/oF8bTG8.jpg

    Personality:
Therity is very, very reserved. She’s very confident and tries to do what’s best. Her common sense is often others’ intelligence.

    Weapons:
Everlast Blade – The large, 5 foot, white sword shown on Therity’s back in the picture above.

    Armor:
Just the clothing she’s wearing in the picture above. It has no defensive value, however.

    AS:
Fire, Quick Blitz, Thunder, and Cure

Strengths: Physical and emotional strength (From military discipline.) Also extreme, quiet intelligence. She can also manage herself, and is completely okay with being alone.

    Weaknesses/Fears:
She is very introverted, and tends to focus on her own needs instead of the needs of others.

    History:
Therity was born into a middle class family. She, with her parents and younger sister of three years, lived in a moderately sized port town. Her parent were merchants, and pretty well known throughout their land. As a result of their occupation, however, they had little time to spend with their two children. With nobody else to turn to, Therity and her younger sister, Abigale, kept each other company and grew to be great friends. As children, they would play together inside or in their front yard. However, as they grew older, they turned to the forest behind their town for entertainment and adventure. They built a treehouse in one of the tall oak trees near the path that led through the forest, and visited it frequently. They often explored the forest together, and sometimes pretended they were adventurers searching for treasure and hidden objects. When Therity was 10, she became lost in the forest without her sister during a game of tag. As she desperately tried to find her way back, she ran into an old, dying dragon who granted her with the power to learn and use magic. However, her powers were weak, and she was incapable of controlling them. As Therity progressed in age and maturity, strange things began to happen around her, and people noticed. When she was fourteen, an important aid to the king travelled through their town and heard about the strange happenings. He was well versed in the ways of magic, and immediately realized what the occurrences meant. He took Therity away from her family and her home, telling everybody she was dangerous and was to be disciplined in the King’s Army.

After five years of military training and discipline, Therity has learned how to control her powers, strength, and emotions. Her superiors recently decided that it would be good experience for Therity to join a guild, for experience and as a chance to improve her knowledge of magic in general. Unfortunately, Therity objected to the idea wholeheartedly. Finally, on the morning of the initial guild meeting, they managed to convince/force her to join the guild.

Random backstory on her white hair: When she was in the military, they basically forced her to burn her hometown to the ground and kill her own family (I'm probably going to post that later). Her sister and her shared the same hair style and color, so to get rid of the painful memories, she bleached her hair white and let it grow out.
