Well crap. Therity was directly hit with a strong attack and it brought her down. So apparently she wasn't that strong after all. Actually, she knew she was strong, but with that mask amplifying Cal's power, Calxiyn was just stronger than her at the moment. Yeah, that was it. Therity waited on the verge of consciousness to be healed because their team mates always healed each other.
Dale was down. Well, that was a surprise. The only reason Therity was probably standing is because she hadn't exactly been taunting Calxiyn much. Actually, nah. It's because she's just that strong. Therity landed a pretty epic blow, and that encouraged her a little after the awful rolls she'd been victimized by. If she, Gaius, and Charlotte could take her down in this last two attacks while the others healed up, then they'd be set. Therity smirked a little as she rushed at Calxiyn in what was to be one of the final blows of the battle. Therity used Blitz.
Name: Taylor Hoshiba Gender: Female Age: 19 Description: Spoiler Personality: Taylor’s super chill and pretty outgoing. She has a positive outlook on life, and is very devoted to her friends. However, she can also be somewhat impulsive and doesn’t keep track of time very well. This causes her to be late a lot. She also LOVES music more than anything and is incredibly good at playing the guitar. Weapons: Magical staff Armor: N/A I guess AS: Fire Dash, Magnet, Stop, Cure Strengths: Guitar, fist fighting (rather than sword fighting), Weaknesses/Fears: Lightning, being rejected. And creepy old men. History: Taylor had a pretty average childhood. Nothing really stood out. She made a lot of friends, and had this one friend in particular who she trusted the most. Her name was Abigale. The two were joined at the hip; they hung out together all the time, and they told each other everything. When she was 9 or 10 years old, Taylor made the fateful mistake of telling Abigale a secret that she had hidden from everyone else. Over the course of the next few months, she was bullied, harassed, and ridiculed for her “abnormality.” After attempting suicide twice, her parents decided to take her away from her hometown and move to a distant land where nobody knew her secret. There, she discovered music and guitar, which she ultimately used as a tool to express herself and her emotions. It helped to cure the extreme depression which she had been victimized by for several long years, and she began to learn to love herself again. Taylor, with the help of a few true friends, opened up a club for kids who were bullied and depressed, and she eventually was able to tell her secret to people who wouldn’t betray or make fun of her. She began to develop magical powers around her fifteenth birthday, and while that would have been rejected in her old town, it was accepted here along with her so called abnormality. She decided to join a guild to improve and continue to develop her powers, and this decision led her to Sapphire Eclipse. SO APPARENTLY I GET TO CHANGE MY POST BACK YAY what did i say last time idr Therity used Blitz.
Just to make it quick... Therity used Blitz.
'You cannot defeat the darkness!' Calxiyn had said. Therity smirked slightly. Just watch us, bitch. Meanwhile, her teammates were injured. With the awful rolls she was having, there was no way she could finish this battle by herself, so she decided to help them out yet again while others attacked. Just for this one turn, though. Then she would finish off the pounding they were giving Calxiyn. Therity used Cure on Ander.
Wow, those were some terrible rolls. Therity's role play owner was kind of shocked to see that her character had done so little damage, even though it wasn't that bad of a hit lol. Unfortulately, Therity's owner just finished eight hours worth of homework because she was crazy and had mentally derranged teachers. She was exhausted and it was taking all she had to write with semi-correct grammar and spelling on this post but she promised Alex that she'd post soooooo Therity used Blitz again. She was staying on the offensive. You're welcome, Ra.
Moon drip? The purple moon? Things were starting to make sense. She couldn't dwell on it now though. They had a battle to fight. Therity used Blitz on Calxiyn.
This whole situation with Calxiyn was getting out of hand. Therity seriously considered knocking her out, before the situation could get any worse. Before she had the chance, however, it did. Calxiyn flew out the room, supposedly to join this Boreal guy, who was Dale's half-brother. That particular news didn't suprise Therity - they shared quite a few facial similarities and they both used ice-make magic, as seen by Boreal's whip from earlier. While people pledged their services to Dale, Therity stayed quiet. They were on the same team, and switching sides as Cal had done wouldn't be beneficial to Therity anyways, since she knew how powerful they all were. They would beat Boreal and Calxiyn for sure, and she had no intention of being on the losing side. As they all travelled up the stairs and into the night, Therity looked up at the glowing purple moon. Wait, purple? Therity thought about the matter for a moment, but dismissed it until after the battle. She needed to concentrate on the moment, not on what could have caused the moon to turn purple on this island only. She listened to the exchange between her guild mates, and noted the effects that the mask had on Calxiyn. It had taken over her mind somehow, or at least released the darkness inside of her. This was confirmed by her memory of Calxiyn's speech after they defeated Ezekiel. She took out her sword as the guild accepted their fate to fight. "When we attack," Therity whispered, loud enough only so that her guild mates could hear (minus Calxiyn), "I recommend that attack them one at a time. Then, once we take out one of them, we'll be able to fight the other one on one without someone else barraging us or splitting our attacks. After all, it's better to be attacked by one person for part of the time, rather than two the whole time."
Therity didn't acknowledge the rest of the group as she followed Dale to the temple. By the look on Dale's face, they were seriously annoying him. She didn't blame him - they were annoying her too, and she wasn't even the target of their words. As they approached the outer walls, she took a look around. The temple was old. Really old. "This place is falling apart," Therity stated under her breath. In response to a question that one of the others had - she didn't know who had asked, since she was facing towards the temple and away from him - Therity stepped inside.
Therity sighed. Of course somebody else had to get themselves captured. Therity watched as Veilen struggled against the mouse's strong grasp, and made up her mind to save him. After all, if Veilen couldn't attack, it would take longer to finish off the giant rat. Therity used Blitz (on whatever wrist the mouse is holding Veilen in so she can save him or whatever)
Therity listened to the group contemplate who could possibly be behind this curse. She agreed with the idea of it being several wizards - it wasn't likely that whoever they were facing had the kind of power to pull this whole thing off on their own. Suddenly, she sensed a giant... Something coming out of nowhere and heading right for the group. She whipped out her sword just in time for the beast to come out of the trees, but she wasn't fast enough to save Dale from it's grasp. She watched as the others began to attack, and did so herself moments later. Therity used Blitz.
Therity clenched her fists at the group's stupidity. She knew going out this late would be an awful idea. Why couldn't they see that? In particular, she narrowed her eyes at Ander's remark. Scared? Was he serious? Apparently, he was, which was mind boggling to Therity. I'm just trying to protect the lives of you dimwits, she raged silently, her eyes filled with the fury of the accusation. Normally comments like that wouldn't effect her, but the thought that some people would believe her to be so much of a coward as to abandon her own guild on such an important mission... Therity was out of the tent in a flash, making a point to be the first. Scared, huh? How ignorant. I haven't been scared since before I was in the military. She allowed the cold air to calm her nerves, before walking into the dark forest fearlessly.
"Has anyone paused to think that Calxiyn's possible kidnapper could be the one who cursed this island in the first place?" Therity finally spoke up, calmly and confidently voicing her opinion. "It certainly could be a possibility. If she really has been kidnapped, who else would have any reason to do so? Yes, Calxiyn is our guild mate, and yes, we should go rescue her, but I'm not sure that right now is the time to do it. Are we really prepared to take on whoever cast this powerful curse? We haven't rested, nor have we eaten, in quite a while. Calxiyn made a mistake, and when it comes down to it, she's probably either already dead or perfectly fine for the time being. It would be reckless of us to run off on a rescue mission that could result in our capture or own death due to lack of proper rest and nourishment. On top of that, if moonlight is the source of the curse, we could potentially be subjected to that as well." She paused and looked at Ra, Gaius, Ander, Velien, Charlotte, and finally, Dale, each of whom were already preparing to leave the tent. "I recommend we wait until morning. I'm willing to gamble the well being of one life to ensure the saftey of seven others, at least for the night." Her tall, commanding composure gave an added sense of confidence to her speech. Therity had no intention of letting anyone die on this mission, but it couldn't be helped if Calxiyn had already gotten herself killed. Going on a search and rescue mission in the state that they were in would only lead to more injury. Therity hoped her allies would be able to see that.
Therity bristled with irritation. Was Dale trying to imply that her healing powers weren't good enough? She considered turning around and giving him a death stare, but decided against it. Getting angry over something that simple would be fruitless. Plus, Therity knew her powers, and the unless Calxiyn's freaking foot had fallen off, then she would be fine.
The boat jolted a little bit as the captain docked it. Be more careful next time, Therity thought, a tad annoyed. The girl Calxiyn somehow flew off the boat and onto the island, where she complained of a hurt ancle. Rolling her eyes at the drama, Therity shot a jolt of magic (cure) at her to heal her. Injured team mates before they left the ship wouldn't be a good thing, especially on this high class of a mission. Looking up at the mountain, she saw that it indeed was glowing at the top. That's probably where the curse originated, and probably where we have to go, she assumed silently. Ignoring the rest of the guild, she walked off of the boat and up to the edge of the forest. Light filtered through the trees near the beach, but the farther in she looked, the darker it got. Lovely. She turned around and waited for the rest of them to leave the boat so they could get on with their mission.
Back to her normal self, Therity watched impassively as two of the men on her mission decided to try to steal a ship. Indeed, their methods did end up aiding them somewhat in the end, but it was an irresponsible thing to do nevertheless. They deserved the scolding they got from Dale, and as she had done nothing wrong his speech about the general stupidity of their group did not effect her at all. She turned to watch the sea as the group discussed the mission at hand. It was indeed strange that Dale would take them on an S-class mission without informing them up front, but honestly she wasn't phased by it. She knew that she could get through anything the world threw at her, just as she had done all her life. Continuing to watch the sea and the ever-nearing night sky, she finally spoke. "It doesn't matter why he didn't tell us that this mission was S-class before we set out. What's done is done. There is nothing we can do about it, as we cannot turn back. Even now we continue towards the cursed island and the nearing night sky. So instead of causing turmoil and inquiring and accusing Dale of something that has already been done, should we not rather concentrate on what plan we have to create before we reach the approaching island?"
Spending time. I would like to sell Angle Bangel and buy and equip Omega Arts and Gaia Bangle. (-30 jewels left) (If I'm allowed to do that haha. If not, just the Omega Arts will do it for this mission, and don't sell Angle Bangle until later.) Additionally, remove Quick Blitz and replace it with Blitz please. Finally, I would like to spend my two points on Juvia and Lucy (if that's even how I do it lol idk what I'm doing). Thank you ^~^ After all that, Therity is ready for the Middle Dark Purple mission.
Therity signing up for Middle Dark Purple.
Therity used Quick Blitz.
