For all of you who though Demyx was challenging, he's got nothing on Xaldin and Xigbar, but let's stay on topic.
When I fought him in the Olympus Coliseum, he was a cakewalk, absolutely no issues against him, even on my first play-through 6 years ago.
In Hollow Bastion, it's a very different story. Back when I first played KH2, Demyx gave me many issues, mainly because I couldn't read his attack patterns and because he was so powerful.
Now that I've played the game 4 or 5 times now, on proud mode, he's a lot easier than I remember. His patterns are very simple if you listen to the audio ques and having the dodge move and the double jump from leveling up the wisdom and master form really helps you.
Bottom line, practice makes perfect, even in a series like Kingdom Hearts.

Wow! This thread is still going on? From some of the responses I've been getting about this thread, I was pretty sure people would have lost interest... but apparently that's not the case. Now I'm happy and filled with nostalgia at the same time!

Looks like my theory was correct! Who would have thought?
I'm pretty sure that everyone (including myself) would like to see the full cast list before the fan-dub is released. It would be nice to see any other projects they worked on KH-vids and VAA.
Also, I'm now a member of VAA, a lot of options for voice acting there, so if you aren't successful in this auditions, there are more options on the VAA forums

So, judging by what you said, you just sent in the audition lines, much like everyone who auditioned for Sora (of course.)
I'm pretty sure we'll find out why Mike is taking a while to get this video announcment and/or trailer out.

I know, it seems unlikely, but you never know.
There may be another reason I've found. Fans who wanted to audition for this fan-dub have the option to post an audition from other KH websites. On the announcment post Mike made before Christmas, he said he's expceting auditions from not only kh-vids, but also from the VAA (voice acting alliance). He also pointed out that a khinsider member sent an audition as well.
So, fans from other websites have the option to audition, so it is possible that members not on kh-vids might have gotten some roles, explaining the lack of pins received.
Again, this is just a theory, and this is an addition to "said" theory.

I have a theory about why the trailer is being put out late.
I auditioned myself, and as such, I received a pin saying that I auditioned. I was curious about what other pins were available, and I stumbled across the pin that is for people who are in the fan-dub.
When I saw all 8 people who got this pin, they received it January of last year (2011). I think, rather than the full trailer, the video Mike will post will be an announcement trailer saying who was cast and that the full trailer will be released once everyone has done their lines. After the announcement, everyone who got a part will receive a pin.
Also, with so many roles, I doubt that the 8 minute trailer can be done in a period of 3 days.
This is a just a theory, but hopefully we'll soon find out if this is true or not.

I wouldn't say that the game is dead, that's like saying the original Mario Bros. game or Smash Bros. Melee or even the original Kingdom Hearts is dead, when they are clearly being enjoyed and played today by many different generations of gamers who come across them. Kingdom Hearts 2 is among the same category, since people who are new to the series will start from the beginning and work their way in order of release, and in turn, will play Kingdom Hearts 2.
Also, I tried the forum search engine again by using a keyword as an example, and it brought up the first post and the posts you and I made recently. I don't know what you're doing differently. Also, here's something even weirder. I made posts to this thread years ago about some of the codes I've mentioned, but the posts it shows on my homepage do not include them, yet they still counted them, which explains why I have over 20 posts.

Firstly, I wouldn't have asked for those codes if I could find them on this thread, but since the search thread option on the forums doesn't work and just brings you to the first page of the same thread, that's why I've asked. It would also be good to get people talking about these particular codes again to get some more conversation going in this thread, since not a whole lot has been happening in this.

O.K, it seems that some activity has to start happening, so I'll start with some code requests that I'm sure people will appreciate if they're posted:
Play as Tron Sora in all worlds
Play as Halloween Sora in all worlds
Play as Timeless River Sora in all worlds
Organization XII battle warps
Bosses have more health
Drive form costumes as normal Sora

I'm actually working on a custom quest as we speak. I'm calling it "Saga XIII". The story will follow an original story centered around Lightning and her quest to stop a being that can mimic anybody's appearance and fighting style. It's no masterpiece, that's for sure. My best field of work is video editing, not writing a story.

I'll be creating more quests with the same style of name: "Saga (number of game)". If people recognize the quest I'm currently working on, I'll make more. I'm thinking of making "Saga X" after I'm done with "Saga XIII".

I'll post a download link to this page so that people can test it.
One more thing, I'm from Europe, so for all the American gamers, it will be a good test to see if these custom quests are multi-regional.

Since the quest creation is a huge part of the create and share game archetype (much like Little Big Planet), is there a way to share quests that you create?

The game doesn't give you that option in the game itself, I think there's a way to solve this. When you save a quest, it creates a saved file, what you can then do is copy that file on your computer and post it to the internet and forums to share your quest with others.

I'm sure there can be some setbacks. I believe that the biggest is different regions. I think you can only play a quest if it was created by a player who has the same region version of the game. For example, a game made by a NA gamer can only be played by other NA gamers.

I'm thinking of starting a thread that lets others post their custom quests, but before I do, can someone check if this method works? It would be a great way to show the creativity of gamer's thoughts and ideas for a story.

Around the time of the release of Birth by Sleep last year, KH-vids hosted a contest to create an AMV or a fan made TV spot to promote the game's release on the website. I was the one who won the TV spot contest. Unfortunately, the page was erased because of server problems soon after, but I still have the video to prove it. Here it is:

Many thanks to Mike and the KH-vids staff who enjoyed the video and made it 1st place in the contest, it's really helped me to improve my skills.

I would really like you to change it to a different button, but doesn't changing it to R1 mean that every time I want to lock on to the boss, the health will keep going back to the top? This is because most bosses can't be locked on at certain points, like Xemnas on the skyscraper or when final Xemnas uses reversal. I'm sure someone can change it to L2, I'm sure there is a line of code that tells the code which trigger to set it to. There has to be one for L2, I'm sure of it (well, not really).

Thanks for the codes! They work great! Except for one thing. I want to use these codes to fight previous Organization members by using battle warps, the problem is that the same function for battle warps is R2.

For example, I was going to fight the 1st Xemnas battle, I held down R2 with the codes on, and I was stuck in an odd angle in the room with no way to return or fight. In short, it glitched up.

What I'm asking is that is there a way to change the function of this code so that it will use L2 instead to give the bosses maximum health, I think this would help other people who might have the same problem as well.

Also, what do the titan boss slots and Churrent hp codes do? I haven't tried them because I don't know what they are.
Thanks!

I'm glad to hear that you're enthusiastic about it, but I would like the codes for them. I understand if you don't know them and are just trying to help, so thanks:)! I appreciate the help!

I haven't been here for a while, it's good to be back!
I'm curious, is there a way to change bosses hp, like Xemnas having the same amount of hp as he does in FM+'s data battles? This would make battles for people who are at level 99, like myself, last longer and present more of a challange. This code will also need to be for the ARMax. Thanks!

What does the last code do? Do you not know and would like someone to test it?
