Gotta go with Eiichiro Oda on this one. I love One Piece so much and the work he does is amazing. Plus I love how he manages to connect the smallest arcs to something way later on, in this case I'm talking about the Laboon arc connecting to Brook becoming a crew member with Luffy. I've not kept up with it for a while, but then again I've not kept up with a lot of Manga or Anime for a while, too busy with work, school, and Let's Playing.
Well I got the HD 1.5 ReMix and trophy hunting is extremely easy on the remasters. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD has a trophy for each world completed, one for each of the hidden bosses, getting every single weapon (3 trophies for this one), etc. So far in my LP of Final Mix HD I've managed to get quite a few of them because it seems Square Enix just made the trophies the same like how any other "HD" remake is, just go through checkpoints in the story and then you get trophies. Kinda makes me sad because I like having to work hard for trophies, and so far the only one that is the most difficult to work up to get is the one where you cannot hit Continue when you die, and the other is just doing all the Gummi Ship missions.
If you can make a video it'd probably really help me out in that case. Text based stuff was always difficult for me, but video tutorials always helped me more. Seems Square Soft planned a lot of things ahead though.
No, no I do not. Although I'm not surprised that they made custom stuff like this to make it so that people wouldn't easily modify it. So is it possible for me to just get the .ARD for the Hollow Bastion script back in the other format and then give it to you once I'm done? It's weird working with .ARD and I can't figure it out for the life of me. Also, I find it weird that there was text missing in the script that I noticed because before you fight the Behemoth there is a scene with Cinderella and them saying that Ansem was swallowed by the darkness, but it seemed to skip that and went to the Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith scene before sealing the Keyhole. Maybe it's later, I don't know. :P
Yeah it would help me out more. Crazycatz00's ARD reader is good, but I've never even heard of a .ARD file before this and I wouldn't want to screw anything up inside there. I'm at work now, but I'll be home soon enough.
Thank you, now I should be able to use it. Was looking for a program to use. Now to try to find which one of the ARD files has the Hollow Bastion script in it. Edit: This may sound weird, but is there a way I could edit the Hollow Bastion script without having to go through the ARD? Mainly because I can't figure hid nor hare of the thing, and I found I was able to navigate it better that way. I can give you the finished one to turn it back into an ARD if that'd help.
I see, guess it's time for me to learn about ARD files and how they work. PC-Illiterate Man, away! *opens up pages and starts to read what ARD files are*
Not yet for me. My semester doesn't begin until August 26th so until then it's work for me. Hope I do too. Strange thing that I never actually joined this site or even really knew it existed. I have read the rules, the many rules, and shall follow them accordingly. Thanks for the welcome.
Question, what happened to the script section on the Drive? Someone else translating them, because when I access it the script section isn't there.
Sorry I wasn't able to translate anything today, I needed to finish up my Spyro Year of the Dragon project and catch up on Final Mix HD's recordings. I should be able to do more now that one of the LP projects is fully edited and scheduled for uploads. Oh, and when you are seeing the Unknown User, that's more than likely me. I'll try to bug test a bit tomorrow okay.
I'll be one of the few who likes No Heart, mainly because the armor is really awesome. Other reason is because it's one of the few bosses I just cannot seem to beat in the Kingdom Hearts series so he gets my respect. He also gets my rage, but that's to be expected.
Sadly Arena and Daggerfall never have seen console release, although I wouldn't mind owning the Anthology if it were on a console. I guess for me it's because I am a console gamer at heart and I'm more comfortable with a controller instead of a mouse and a keyboard.
I was the good kid when I was little, but I would do some things that would make my parents mad. For example, when I was little my parents put gates on the door of my room to have it so that I wouldn't get out of bed. The first gate was a wooden gate that went up to halfway and to get over it I would make stairs out of my toys. The second gate was a plastic gate covering the entire door, simply pushed that one over, although it took a while. The last one was a metal gate, but I climbed over that one.
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ was actually the first ever imported game I got so it has a special place in my heart. I got lucky too because I got it brand new for $50 off eBay and it had free shipping as well. Since it was new I even got the Japanese version of Re: Chain of Memories, only to find out that a few months later the game would be coming out to the US. Needless to say I felt less special because of it. Funny thing is that I still can't beat the Enigmatic Soldier even after having the game for 7 years. The 2.5 HD remake is hinted at after you beat one of the games on the HD 1.5 ReMix. A special credits sequence option shows up and during it you can see images of Birth by Sleep, probably the Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ on it. They'll probably also recreate the cutscenes from Re: Coded since I think they said that they weren't gonna make an HD remake of Dream Drop Distance. At least that's what I think.
Question, I don't fully understand the whole ARD thing, should I just tell one of you when I'm done translating Hollow Bastion and have you all convert it? I'm not very tech savvy at certain things. You are correct about both of those. Weird though that in your post the Katakana doesn't show up, but the Hirigana does.
I've been using my guide, since I had translated the game using the English script with some cutscenes, and put the translations below the Japanese text to make it easier for me. Basically I did it like this: Only for the entirety of the first FM game. Yeah that was a fun LP, especially since I did it on Proud Mode and 100%ed it. T^T I feel like I'm going to slow for all of this though. If I am, just tell me to go faster and I'll try my best.
No, well yes and no. YouTube promoted every channel on the site to "Partnered" about 2 years ago or so. If you get a copyright strike though then you no longer get unlimited upload times, and instead you get a 15 minute time limit. If I had only 15 minutes I'd of cried and just stuck with Game Anyone for uploading. Edit: Gonna do some more tomorrow. I managed to get a few of the text cutscenes from Sora's sacrifice to Sora sealing Hollow Bastion's Keyhole. I wonder why I decided to do the script that's 28 pages sometimes...
Internet problems, or copyright problems? Either way it'll help with syncing up the right voiced dialogue. If you want the text based cutscenes then unfortunately you'd have to look up an LP or walkthrough for that. I'm using my old LP of Final Mix as a guide since I did basically what we are doing here, only I put the English translations below the Japanese text. Also helps that I kept it in archive on my portable HDD in case of emergency.
I'll see what I can do, I'm busy with the Hollow Bastion script right now. I'm jumping around translating some of the easy stuff first then going back to the full ones. I'll see if I can help out with Hook's Ship once I get a good number of sentences and conversations done with Hollow Bastion. Right now I'm doing the scene in which Sora is a Heartless and has just come back. It's easy for some things because they keep just saying their names. XD If some people wish to just replace the text with the English script here's a link to the Game Script for KH 1 made by OKong: http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=64396 Keep in mind though that if you use it to replace it you will have to find the sections that the sentences are split up in since they are separated by certain cues. If you need a video reference I can link to the cutscenes for you to see how it's split up. Edit: Here's a link to the voiced cutscenes for KH1 all in one video. If you need references in which to line up the Japanese subtitles then ask me for the link as well. Mainly if we don't put exactly what they are saying in the English version, since FM has English voice acting, people will probably chew us out to be quite honest. XD
Thanks for the welcome you two. I honestly had never heard of this site before until a member from here started telling me about the site after commenting on my Unknown battle that I did. I love how the site is organized and how it looks, but that might just be my OCD acting up again. Seems though that I've been missing out on a site like this.
