Hey Trilix, I'm gonna be getting off work at 2:30 my time and I should be home by about 3:00 or so. Mind finishing running me through the UltraEdit stuff, that way I can finish some more of the Hollow Bastion stuff. Also, if you've not done the added Final Mix cutscene then I posted the lines of dialogue for you up above.
The extra lines are more then likely the added cutscene after you defeat Sephiroth in the Final Mix version of the game. The conversation goes: Cloud やっと会えたな So we meet at last. Sephiroth 俺も探していた I was searching for you too. Cloud おまえが存在する限り 俺は悪夢から覚めることができない As long as you exist, I can't wake from this nightmare. お前は俺の闇だ You are my darkness. Sephiroth (gesturing widely) ならば闇へと誘おう If that's so, I shall draw you into the darkness. 永遠に光を奪い、 覚めることのない悪夢の中へ Into the nightmare that forever deprives you of light, from which you can never awaken.
I hope to, my parents are forcing me to go out to dinner though. That's what's annoying for me as my schedule is really bad and doesn't give me much time to work on the patch. I'm sorry.

Was it on one of your videos? I'm curious because does he legitimately think it is a mod that we are making, I mean does he think that we are making a mod that turns Kingdom Hearts into its Final Mix?

Trilix was saying he would be running the ISO in the emulator alongside when editing the ARD so then he could check if anything was wrong while he was editing. It's recommended, but not necessary persay.
After you left we stayed on for another hour to an hour and a half, well at least I did, and Trilix was teaching us about UltraEdit. With luck I may be able to get on today. Traverse Town is probably gonna be the longest since it covers all the visits in the script.
That's sorta a grey area. See it is legal to make a backup copy of the game and then have it for your use, but giving it to others, and selling it, can be considered illegal. At least if I'm remembering correctly. Nintendo has a different policy when it comes to making backups though.
Yeah, it's mainly the quality of the recording because if that were possible I'd just record the in game music and extend it for you since I've done for myself before. :P Only an hour and a half before I can get on Skype. I'm having some issues with the Riku scene at the beginning of Hollow Bastion, because just like Wonderland it is out of order for some reason. The scene with Leon and all of them as well as the scene with Sora's Sacrifice is in order so I've already done that one, and I've done text scenes here and there.
The music can't because unfortuantely the size of the reorchestrations and the PS2's specs make it impossible. It's why HD 1.5 reorchestrated the music. Although I'm not surprised that some of the model mods work. Gotta love break time when I can post on a computer. Believe me Hollow Bastion is sorta all over the place as well. There are some instances in which the scripted text based cutscenes don't show up until later in the script. It's really weird. Yeah, it would probably be easier. Hopefully we can come together today in Skype. Sadly I'm using a work computer to type this since I'm on my lunch break. Hollow Bastion is coming along fine though, only thing is that there are some strings I've not translated yet in the script.
Will you be able to hold a Skype call tomorrow? It's late where I am right now and I won't be able to join until probably 3:00 pm PST. Sadly I work till 2:30 and don't get home till 3. Would that work? Oh, and I'm typing this from an iPod Touch right now when I should be in bed.
Better for others to translate than me I guess. I'm doing more of Hollow Bastion right now, and I'm hoping to be done by tomorrow or Friday with the script. I still need to do the locations however. Although, then again I am very slow when it comes to translating. It's an amazement that I ever actually finished translating Final Mix for my LP.
I downloaded the Hollow Bastion scripts and haven't touched them on the drive. I was planning on uploading them when I was finished. You have to click on the file and then when it's in the preview you have to hit the open section, then you can edit it or download the file. The script is in one place, and the locations are in another.
Yeah, sorry I was unable to translate it in time. I'm so slow. T^T I'll just try beta testing for now as I've not managed to get much done when it comes to translating. Unless I suddenly manage to jump a lot when it comes to Hollow Bastion's translations. XD
