My English class was being uber noisy and loud today, so my teacher made us do an essay for homework. Due tomorrow.

But that's not the bad thing.

The essay is about this weird color = personality crap she gave us in class. I remember the color that represents me, but I don't remember what it said.

But that's not the bad thing either.

The bad thing is that she gave us a website to go to in case we forgot what it was (which everyone in the class did) and the website has completely different stuff than what it said in class. AND I DON'T FIT ANY CATEGORY!

ARGH! First month of school is a killer.

I know they've all been dealt with separately, but I wanted to discuss a few of them here.

First off, there is one thing in KH1 I never understood, that I think I may have finally figured out. In the End of the World, I believe when you enter the column of flame, there is a computer-like object, with five or six pods around it. At the time, I thought this was the machine Ansem and Xehanort used to study and manufacture heartless, but KHII proved this wrong. Perhaps this is where Xehanort, Braig, Dilan, Even, Eleaus, and Ienzo lost their hearts?

Okay, now onto KHII. This is probably the most discussed object: the memory pods in the basement that were not keeping Goofy, Donald, and Sora. I wrote a thread partially concerning these, but as it only got 26 views, I'll put my theory again: the original inhabitants of the world where Castle Oblivion lays were like those of Radiant Garden, but studied memories instead of hearts, and these were some of the pods from that world that Namine moved alongside Sora, Donald, and Goofy.

But that's not the only mystery held in the Mansion, for instance: the huge dining room table was smashed to pieces. Upon examination, the caption reads "Only a massive blow could've smashed this." yet the room shows no other sign of damage. What was this massive blow, and why did it only affect the table? Also, in the foyer of the castle, there is an object that is rotting and falling to pieces, but it is incased on a pedestal in the middle of the room, so it must have been important at one point. What was this artifact? Also, it seems that the only way to the rest of the mansion is through the courtyard, but someone rich enough to build that mansion would not have wanted to walk outside all the time, and it is safe to say that the door on the other side of the foyer leads to a room similar to that of the dining room, not a hallway. Is there another secret passage in the mansion, or is this just reading into an oversight from Square?

Twilight Town is indeed a mysterious world. During your final storyline visit to Twilight Town, it is covered in nobodies, and it seems that everyone has abandoned the streets and shops. Also, though no one else would probably recognize this (I pride myself on obsessive knowledge of Star Wars), there was a full Imperial-style ground assault force hovering over the planet (Assault of the Dreadnaught Gummi Route. Dreadnaught Cruisers are Imperial-class freighters used in Expanded Universe Star Wars for carrying large numbers of troops and ground assault vehicles). If this was meant to capture Axel, why didn't they just automatically go into Betwixt and Between? Afterall, to get to Axel from the world, they'd have to hack DiZ's computer, enter the digital world, and go into the portal there. Was something else happening at this time somewhere else on the world?

And those are just a few of the mysteries of Kingdom Hearts! I haven't even gotten into Yen Sid's Tower or The World that Never Was!

I was just typing a response to a different thread when I was struck by inspiration (and this one actually makes sense, somewhat!)

Okay, here's my thoughts on Castle Oblivion, first:

The world of Castle Oblivion was once a densly populated world where people of both light and dark hearts lived, and scientists like Ansem the Wise searched to discover the meanings. But rather than studying the heart and searching for the Door to Darkness, they dove into the bowels of the mind and searched through men's memories.

But, as explained in Chain of Memories' Halloween Town, a person's true memories could drive a man into the depths of insanity. And, true to this, the great minds of the world began to fall to their own memories, eventually leading to a world of abandoned wasteland.

This is why when Terra, Aqua, and Ven approach, they find a barren wasteland.

And this is why, when later Sora finds the world, the same crossroads have been naturally overgrown with weed and grass.

Okay, now, when Xemnas creates Organization XIII, he learns of another world situated on the in-between world of Oblivion. He goes there and realizes that the Room of Awakening is there, along with Ven, the other "friend," who was never moved from that world after he was frozen. He also found that he could use the castle itself to play on memories. He decided to keep Namine there, as she also had power over memories, and he sensed a connection. The pods that kept Sora, Donald, and Goofy (as well as the others in Twilight Town that appeared to have been used before: they were used by the original inhabitants of the world).

Okay, that's my long theory about Castle Oblvion. Now, for the Chasers:

What happened to the inhabitants of the world after their memories drove them insane? What do we call Chasers? eh? eh?

Okay, think of this: Marluxia said that having your memories destroyed would cripple your heart. Couple this with the experiments mentioned before, revealing their true memories, and a Chaser is now born from the memories of a broken-hearted man.

Xehanort? Could Xehanort have spawned a Chaser, and lost his memory? Is this why he showed up at Radiant Garden? Is Xehanort a Chaser himself?

Yeah, I expect the next game is gonna deal a lot more with memories, like Chain of Memories did. Perhaps expand on what we learned in Chain of Memories.

Prior to the events of Nobodies' Return (#2), Squall Leonhart ruled the happy world of Radiant Garden. But this changed for the worse one day, as Raxen and his organization of Nobodies infiltrated his world and reactivated Xehanort's old machine to churn out a never-ending flow of heartless onto the world. Though he stood to fight alongside his friends and partners, he was forced to watch his world crumble to darkness. He alone escaped into the darkness....

A year passed since that day. Finally, Leon's aimless wanderings of the Corridors of Darkness in search of Raxen and Revenge ate away at his heart and he fell into a heartless.

Next he knew, he awoke on the Twilit world of Nobodies, where he learned that Raxen and his Organization had regained their hearts and were now lost. All he had left to do was to follow in his greatest enemy's footsteps and build an Organization to regain his heart...

Which of the following FF characters would you like to see in the next chronological (as in concerning Sora, Riku, and Kairi after the events of KHII) Kingdom Hearts game?

Vincent Valentine – In the first game, Cloud bore an awfully large resemblance to Valentine, and he also had the power of darkness that Hades gave him. But in KHII, he suddenly acted more for the light, and no longer looked like Vincent. So, when Cloud gave up his darkness and rejoined the characters of Radiant Garden, Vincent Valentine was born in the Underworld…

Rinoa Heartilly – First off, Squall can’t be the only resident of Radiant Garden from his game. I mean, I know he’s a loner, but come on. Anyway, during the credits, we see Leon holding a letter, which seemed to make him look a little less emo just by reading it. And after reading it, a glowing butterfly flies around the world – and a butterfly is also seen on the back of Rinoa’s outfit…

Quistis Trepe – Well, it is Radiant Garden, and as such needs a teacher. I expect you’d find her teaching some aspiring Xehanorts in the library, and a couple times yelling at Leon, referring to him as Squall, despite his arguments. The first point for Rinoa applies here.

Barret Wallace – Because KH is racist and has no black people in it thus far. Other than that, though, I can’t really think of any good reason…

Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo – Where did Cloud and Sephiroth go? Back to Midgar! And if Sephiroth got defeated there, he would reenter the lifestream, and separate his will into the three, who are now desperately searching the worlds for…something….

Chocobos and/or Cactuars – Because they both rock, they have Gummi Ships named after them (at least in the first game) and the keychain you get from Cloud is called “Metal Chocobo†in KH1. Cactuars could be like the white mushrooms.

Other – Give me a person and a reason!

I would personally like to see Vincent (in case you couldn’t tell by the fact that he the longest description). I’d also like to see the JENOVA brothers, but Vincent outranks them in awesomeness.

I was watching the collaborated secret endings on the home page, and I began to notice some things. Armoured Unknown 1 flashes into 2 people very near the beginning of the first secret trailer, then fades back into one. Baldy does the same thing, except he doesn't fade back, but stays as two figures. In the new secret ending, we see that AU1 looks uncannily like Roxas. So perhaps, this character is connected to everything Sora does, like another-worldly Sora, and when they show this, it means that he is changing from his Sora-form to his nobody Roxas-form. And the Bald guy and the figure in Red are a heartless and a nobody who stayed separate rather than officially fusing as Sora/Roxas did. Eh? Eh?

Another thing, not quite as important. When they showed Baldy holding up AU1, with his helmet smashed in, we see the Female AU reflected in his eye. But, she seems to have dark red hair, not silver. Kairi?...

Also, not quite as important, but Roxas-man isn't dead. If you watch really closely when he's lying on the ground next to Female AU, his eyes are moving, still. And he looks like he's about to cry.

Oh, and possibly most important of all...

Does anyone notice that Baldy looks just like Yen Sid without hair!!!!!!!!????????

Sudden enlightenment hits several people at this time.

Why does Yen Sid simply disappear in KH2? Where did he go to? Why did Malifecent not take over his tower? Why was his tower infested with nobodies through the rest of the game? How does he know so much about the heartless and the nobodies?.....

    Questions, questions....

This could be why Mickey appears so ticked off, and why he's holding Star Seeker. Symbolic, you know? (Great, now I'm starting to sound like Rai) He knew his old master turned to the darkness and was prepared to fight him.

    What do you guys think?

I was watching the trailer again and I noticed a couple of things I hadn't before.

    1) The White Platform that looks like it could lead to where you fight the Org. Members looks like its in the Rising Falls from KH1

    2) Theory about the Organization Mushrooms. Maybe a new one shows up each time you defeat an Org. Member? Then, when you've beaten all 13, they all show up in one spot (hence the pic with all 13 of them in a row)

    3) In the Marluxia refight, numbers appear counting downwards over Sora's head each time he gets hit. Is this a countdown to a reaction command? Or is it counting down to a really painful hit from Marly?

Yeah, that's about it. And that the new Drive Form seems Really Ultra-Super-Special-Awesome Powerful. (To get that joke, you have to watch Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series by LittleKuriboh)
