Gone: Marluxia's Reign Okay, folks, this is my first story here on the forums (though not the first one I've written, not by a long shot) and I'm really curious on how this is going to be precieved. I'd like everyone to keep in mind that this is my first attempt at writing from Zexion's perspective, so some critique would be very nice. Anyway, I own no characters in this story. Enjoy! _____ Lexaeus is gone. Marluxia’s casual words echoed and haunted Zexion’s mind. Just they way he’d spoken, as if telling them the Silent Hero had simply gone to Hollow Bastion to pick up a carton of milk.The Keyblader Sora has eliminated number Five on his mission in Agrabah. This is a very inconvenient event for us, but you have my promise as the new Superior that our plans for Kingdom Hearts will go about as intended. Zexion’s stomach clenched at the thought of that egotist Marluxia as Superior. Everyone knew how he’d come into power so quickly and ruthlessly. Xemnas was dead now, just like Lexaeus. But to Nobodies a normal death would be a mercy. They don’t die, but fade into the darkness and become what they truly were: nothing. Taking slow, heavy footsteps through the halls of the castle, the Cloaked Schemer’s mind raced despite his slow pace. Lexaeus had not died by Sora’s hand, that much was certain. Lexaeus was far too intelligent, far too strong to have been taken out by that dim-witted child. That only left one alternative which most of the Organization already suspected: Marluxia. It was no secret that the Graceful Assassin had feared Lexaeus for his sheer size and strength, despite how greatly Marluxia tried to conceal it. It was also well known that the red-haired Nobody disapproved immensely of the manipulative Marluxia being Superior. On the day the meeting had been called, (three days ago, Zexion shook his head. Only three days) they had all arrived to find Marluxia sitting ceremoniously in Xemnas’s chair, gazing down at the other Nobodies with an arrogant air of superiority. Figuring out what was going on within a split second, Lexaeus had looked up from his chair and stared at Marluxia with a gaze hard as marble. “You will never be my Superior, Marluxia.†With that said, he’d vanished into a sphere of darkness. Controlled rage had been clear on Marluxia’s face though he’d struggled to remain clam as Vexen quickly tore into him about what in the worlds was going on. Zexion shook the rest of the meeting from his head, furrowing his brow as he came upon the room he was looking for. He barley touched the large slate doors before they opened slowly and revealed a sculptor’s heaven of a room. Lexaeus’s room was wide with a high ceiling to accommodate his size. Piles of gray, brown and red clay covered a long white working table in the far corner of the room and above it shelves upon shelves of different colored glazes. On a hook to the left of the table hung a large, clay-stained apron that had once been white. A kennel, still hot from a recent firing, stood alone in the corner just waiting to be emptied of it’s contents. Gray-blue eyes scanned the room, taking in the shapes and figures of clay forms created by the gentle giant. With his large size, Lexaeus always had to be gentle with everything he touched but with his sculptures he was especially careful down to the finest detail. The schemer closed his eyes and inhaled deeply; taking in the earthy smell of the clay that permeated the room and had always seemed to cling to his large friend. He could remember many late nights when he’d be up late into the night reading and Lexaeus would come into the lab to try and persuade the short young man to get some sleep. When Zexion refused the conversation would almost always end with him being picked up, cradled like a child, and carried off to his room. Despite his tired, usually slightly slurred objections, he’d always end up drifting off to sleep with that comforting smell of earth in his nose. Ienzo and Aeleus had always been close, Zexion recalled vaguely. The best of friends and that had carried on even after they’d lost their hearts. Faint, choppy memories of eating ice cream in the park, examining a specimen under a microscope, cowering from Dilan’s girlfriend when she got angry (What was her name? Relena, Arlene? He could faintly recall that she was blonde but that was about it). Their Others had been practically inseparable. For a moment Zexion was sure he felt the familiar comforting heaviness of a large hand coming to rest on his petite shoulder. His eyes snapped open and his head jerked to look over his shoulder with a vague, irrational hope that Lexaeus was there behind him. But all he could see were the shadows in dancing in the corner of the room. How ironic it was that Zexion’s mind was playing tricks on him. He narrowed his eyes as he spoke softly to himself, “I think…I should have a little talk with Eleven.†As he briskly walked out of the room, Zexion was hardly aware of the way his chest clenched as he left behind the familiar smell of his friend’s room. He kept his hands balled into fists at his sides, taking long strides despite his short stature. Lexaeus had been his friend and now he was gone. Marluxia would pay. Even Nobodies have a sense of justice. ____ Note: The next chapter should be up sometime today.

I know exactly where you're coming from. I recently went to go see "The Taming of the Shrew" (Ironically, on3/12 aka XalLar Day <3) and I thought Larxene and Katherine were mirroed personalities. I loved it though Ithought Xigbar would make a better Grumio simply because the actor who portrayed him reminded me so much of Xigbar.
...Okay, *TwilightNight* and Zandyne, I love both of you SO much! It's fantastic to find people who don't hate Vexen and think he's a pervert/pedophile/creepy.
God, it would make me so happy if re:CoM came out in English. If they just find Vexen a decent voice actor I'll weep rainbow tears. Tim Curry for Vexen, plz.
XD Oh YES! XigLux, FTW!! My friend and I RP with them a lot as well as Vexen and Demyx and those two are just HILARIOUS together! They're such whores for each other, it's great! :3 They made-out in front of Roxas and made him flee back to Namine and Axel. :3 And I'll admit I don't mind Xaldin/Demyx. It is pretty cute. XD and I actually used to be a Larxel fan, I'll admit. I actually don't mind Larxene with anyone since she's such a flirt, but Larxdin is my favorite. I've very recently started to like MarLar. I can imagine that as being abit more one-sided on Larxene's part with sort of an infatuation. She's attracted to power and what does Marluxia hve a lot of besides pollen? Yup, power. <3

How many of you have a Kingdom Hearts pairings that's usually refered to as "crack" simply because they're unpopular? :D I do! Feel free to post your favorite pairing that has a small fanbase. Pictures are very wlecome. -Vexen and Demyx- (My yaoi OTP out of anything even though KH is the only fandom with yaoi I enjoy and support.) ...Yeah, you read right. I know people usually don't even think about this pairing or completely dismiss it as utter crack, but it's not if you really think about it. Vexen and Demyx, the two characters who are ALWAYS uke. I love this pairing with all my heart because it does have some merit to it. Water and ice, dorkus and scientist. IT's actually an adorable pairing when done well (in character). One can't exist without the other. And then there's their personalities. Demyx is happy-go-lucky, funny and abit of a dork. Vexen is intellegent, abit of a recluse and a workaholic. I've always thought Demyx could get Vexen out of the castle once in a while, kind of force him to have some fun once in a while. There's also the fact Vexen gets very little respect from the neophytes and Demyx, being the eager beaver he is, would probably respect the Chilly Achademic a great deal ofr his intelligence and Vexen would probably appreciate it a great deal, though he'd never admit it. lD And they'd be completely adorable together. Demyx would be all snuggly and lovey and Vexen secretly enjoying it. Also...seme!Demyx is VERY sexy...as is seme!Vexen. l3 They switch it up a lot. ...If you can't tell my best friend and I do a lot of RPing with these two (she's probably the best Vexen RPer I've ever met and I swear I'm not being bias.) - Larxene and Xaldin- My Organization XIII heterosexual OTP. Wind and lightning, their love of pointy objects and violence. lD I always picture their relationship as constant arguing and fighting then going off to have hot make-up sex. -Zexion and Lexaeus- I really don't see how anyone can prefer Zemyx over this. IT'S SO CUTE! HUGE height difference, cynical bookworm with the gentle giant, what's not to love? The way I think about these two is similar to how I think about AkuRoku. More than friends, less than lovers....though if they did do the nasty Zexion would have to top because otherwise he'd be smooshed.
I love Vexen to death, I do. He's my favorite Organization member right by Demyx and I completely agree with Demitryx that 's got far more personality and he's not nearly as bad as Axel is CoM but...I hate his voice...so much. Why did they have to make him sound like Hojo, why?!?!?! It's not enough that most people think he's an ugly old geezer (I personally think he's a beautiful man, I mean he's got that silky blonde hair, those amazing green eyes and those HIPS! He'd be able to bump Axel off a cliff with those.) but they just had to give him a terrible voice. Urgh!! I really do hope that if re:CoM comes out in English, they do right by poor Vexen and give him a decent voice...preferably with slightly British accent, that's how I always imagined him sounding like in Enlgish. l3
This...suddenly made me incredibly happy. Just the idea that the Organization get their hearts back after death makes me want to cry with joy. Whenever I play through the game or watch cutscenes, I always feel terrible when the Nobodies die. But now that I've seen this, I'm not quite so sad anymore. ...Yaaay, Even and Myde get their hearts back...
Despite Kingdom Hearts being the first fandom with yaoi I can actually get behind and LOVE, there are quite a few hetero pairings I adore: Sora/Kairi (Absolutely ADORABLE.) Roxas/Namine (Once again, too cute for words mostly because I love Namine.) Roxas/Namine/Axel (OT3, anyone?) Cloud/Aerith (A given, my favorite pairing of all time.) Namine/Repliku (I like to think of this as sort of a Repliku-crush/protective brother relationship. lD I love the idea of Repliku calling Vexen 'Dad' and Namine looking up to him as sort of a father-figure, so this was born from that.) Yuffie/Leon (Very cute, but I still support Squall/Rinoa. And yes, I consider Squall and Leon seperate characters.) Now people are going to start thinking I'm weird...but most of the rest of the pairings I love are consideree complete crack. I love them though. Not because they're different, but because I can really imagine the two characters having some kind of relationship. And, like most Kingdom Hearts fangirls, I love AkuRoku but not like most fangirls do. I love them when they're in character. By the I mean the two of them still being best friends but a little bit more too. Not quite lovers (Axel is at least 19 and Roxas is 14!!), but more than just friends. #1- Vexen and Demyx. Marluxia lusting after Vexen, Vexen spurning him at every opprotunity. This is my one and only rapeship, because I can really imagine it. It's about dominance, about Marluxia taking sadistic pleasure in watching Vexen's pride shatter like thin ice, not love. #6- Zexion and Lexaeus I really don't see how anyone can prefer Zemyx over this. ........Oh my GOd, thank you! It makes me so happy to know thta someone else thinks the same way I do about Zemyx! I really don't like nor do I understand that pairing in the slightest. Part of the reason I can't stand it is because most of the time they're portrayed as a complete moron and an emo. URGH! It drives me crazy when that happens because a) Demyx is much stronger and smarter than he lets on (how many people constantly complain that it took them forever to beat Demyx in the game? If he's such a weakling that wouldn't be happening) and b) Zexion is not emo! He's serious, he's pessimistic, he's no nonsense, but that doesn't make him a whining, sobbing emo.
