Vexen pointedly ignored the very painful and rabid mauling going on and simply shook Kairi. "Don't make fun of the villain who just rescued you from very grisly and certain death," he told her. "Or it's back to the dart board to you, girly Keyblade bearer. We of the Organization ALMOST managed to completely control your little Other... almost..." *remembers Naminé incident and flinches* "...and she had *shudder* pencils. So stop acting like you're above all of us and get real."

Vexen instantly went defensive as Kairi called him an "old man." "I AM NOT AN OLD MAN!" he shouted. "I AM MERELY A VERY EXPERIENCED SCIENTIST! AND IN THIS BODY, I'M NOT EVEN THAT OLD!" I think, he added silently. No one had ever figured out Marluxia's real age. He pointed at Valerie, Roxas (in Lexaeus's body), Larxene, and Saïx. "And you bunch! Get serious! Technically, I'm higher rank than ALL of you, and as your collective superior and elder I order you to stop dragging random people into this Castle!"

(ooc://Guys. Stop the torturing of kids. Please; it's not good to think of being this mean. NOT GOOD I TELL YOU. Considering I'm about Kairi's age myself...)

Vexen paused in his scibbling as the screams of a fifteen-year-old girl cut at his ears. Another fangirl left? he thought wearily. He went back to check. What he saw instantly made him bristle. "NUMBER TWELVE, STOP IT!" he snapped. "I MIGHT BE NUMBER ELEVEN NOW BUT I'M STILL OF A HIGHER RANK THAN YOU!" He fanned out the flames with his science notebook and dragged Kairi off the dart board. "Sadistic little girl," he growled in Larxene's general direction. "Dungeon's a good place for the protagonists' girlfriend, not a dart board. Any further exhibition of this behavior and I'll turn you into a Dusk. We need ALL the Princesses of Heart more or less unscathed for future plans, remember?" He marched off, dragging Kairi. "And Number Seven, boot those two out of here before they kill you... again!"

    (ooc://Yay, everyone, let's get back on track! :) )

"Zex- I mean, Saïx! SAÃX! I need you to test out this cure for me-" Vexen began as he ran down the steps toward Saïx, who was walking down a corridor towards a room. He had on protective gloves and goggles; in one hand he had a phial of one of his many test cures, and in the other he had a makeshift shield. He followed the silver-haired Nobody, trying not to trip and desperately hoping that the finalized cure wouldn't be too acidic for consumption. "Where're you going-?!" Saïx took no heed of him; he was obviously on a scent. And once he entered the room, things instantly became too busy for testing of any sort.

"What just happened?" Vexen asked, blinking as Sora materialized and Saïx rushed at him with an illusion claymore. "Did I miss something? Why's the Keyblade bearer standing here? Kairi isn't anywhere- how'd he turn back? WHAT IN THE WORLDS IS GOING ON?!" Always the clueless one, Vexen at once set his shield and phial on the table and began scribbling down observations.

I'm sure I'm going to be called an inattentive child for this, but was the Remembrance scene in the present or in the past? I think it's unlocked after defeating Roxas in TWTNW, so it's either Axel and Roxas's consciousnesses touching or a memory recalled by Roxas prior to his betraying the Organization. Can anyone help me out?

Vexen trotted down the hallway, now as thoroughly irritated as a Nobody can be. "Stupid... stupid... stupid," he muttered under his breath. They all wanted to get out of this switch, didn't they? It was hardly as if anyone was helping; they were all just fooling around with rabid Heartless that had once killed them and their new little sidekicks. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

"I suppose it's up to you to find the cure, Even," Vexen said to himself firmly. "As always. Spite them a bit. Cure yourself and let them fume." The problem was that doing this would give Marluxia a free ride; oh well. The quicker he got out of Sakura-san's body, here, the better. He looked and smelled like cherry blossoms. Did the nincompoop use perfume along with his hair care products? Yech. "I got the Keyblade essence and the crystals, didn't I? Enough to get working," he muttered. "Just get me out of here and back to my own body, before Kairi comes along, rebodies Sora, and owns us all. At least there I'll be able to hide behind my nice sturdy shield!"

You know you're obsessed with KH when you always refer to Squall Leonheart as "Leon," even if you're playing FFVIII.

You also know you're obsessed if you order a haircut just like a KH character's.

And you're obsessed if you abuse your computer's keyboard in any way when it fails to work to your satisfaction- especially if you're doing it with a very large, clunky object.

Vexen overheard Vivani's joking claim and instantly cut in with a scientific explanation absolutely dripping with irony. "According to my research, hearts can only be liberated from their Heartless by the rage and power of the Keyblade, not by a moody, overreacting adolescent wielding scissors and specializing in schadenfreude. AAAND—" He snatched the Sora-Heartless and Riku-Heartless by their antennae. "These TWO are not GOING to get a chance to go ANYWHERE, Kingdom Hearts or otherwise. They managed to keep their feelings, I might remind you." As if to demonstrate, Sora-Heartless ridiculously attempted to lash out at Vexen with his claws, ripping several strands of Marluxia's hair from his head. "Besides, I can use these... for my experiments with the switch... cure. Yes, that's it." He walked in what he deemed a gentlemanly-like manner from the room.

Vexen, however, was too distracted to register what Vivani had said. Right now, he had a feeling that he really want to know how exactly Sora and Riku had gotten themselves turned into Heartless- in Sora's case, again. "I wonder, if Roxas is somehow here and still holds half of Sora's heart... hmm, does Roxas now have a twin brother? Can a person have more than one Nobody? This merits further research. Fascinating," he muttered to himself. Talking to yourself: the first sign of insanity.

Anyway, he was quite interested in the two squirming little Heartless that Ms. Scissors (aka Vivani) had managed to conjure. And when he said interested, he meant not friendly-I'd-like-to-know interested, but rather let's-see-what-color-your-insides-are interested. (ooc://I got that line from Artemis Fowl and used it 'cause it's awesome.)

"THOSE TWO LITTLE HEARTLESS BOTH OWNED ME IN KH:COM! IT'S TIME FOR SOME PUNISHMENT!"

(ooc://And Ukali, why do you keep changing your rules just to give your characters more space to go nuts?)

Vexen stayed with his face mashed to the ground, calculating his entire body: had he broken anything? No, surely not. Marluxia might be uglier than Darkside, but he was still younger and more athletic, at least. (ooc://Vexen doesn't have such a "horrible voice" in Marluxia's body... but I have to admit, it still doesn't fit.)

However, when Ms. Scissors snatched the Berserk blade away from him, Vexen immediately gulped and did a disappearing act. She had terrorized the Castle with scissors— what she would do with Saïx's BERSERKING claymore he did not want to see.

Vexen eventually took notice that he was leading a parade of shouting Nobodies, and looked back to check. And he saw maniacally running, huffing Organization members— including little Number Six, with the mind of Number Seven, attempting to wrench the claymore out of his hand. No way! With this claymore by my side, NONE of you are able to comprehend my power!

As if, his inner, sensible, scientist self snickered, like some sort of personal manifestation of Xigbar.

"It's an absolutely perfect idea to steal Saïx's weapon!" he snapped back to Number Thirteen. "ESPECIALLY when he's always leaving it around anyway! You- or at least your other side- should know!" (ooc://I am referring, of course, to KHII: Saïx's battle.) So saying, he almost brained himself with Marluxia's unwieldy scythe. He kept his brain, but tripped. And ended up on the floor, the last of his temporary berserkiness fading. Stupid hair in my eyes! he thought...which left him feeling very foolish indeed.

(ooc://Honestly, I don't see how Saïx and Marluxia could possibly carry their weapons as they do without making themselves go head over heels.)

(ooc://Just to join in on this discussion, I actually asked Ukali about that and she said she didn't stick Larxene into the switch because of possible gender issues :p She also mentioned that Number Four got switched with Eleven because they hate each other so much. So... yeah. And Xigbar's stomach has GOT to be stronger than steel to eat all that  )

Vexen heard the sounds of talking and raced towards it, eager to use the sharpened, tangible lunar power in his fist. One look at the TV, at Sora singing a sickeningly happy song with some red-haired female teenager who showed more than was good for her (ooc://Well, for someone in the Organization that's not too hard of an opinion to come up with... I mean, look at them!) sent Vexen into a fit of indescribable irritation and savagery. Now dual-wielding a claymore and a scythe (lol) Vexen put an end to the source with a sound much like a very large, spiked object crashing into an elaborate system of electronic hardware. Sora's high note rose earsplittingly high and then was no more.

Allowing himself the rare satisfaction of feeling perfectly evil, Vexen ignored the dying fizz of the Organization television and continued on his merry way.

(I think I went a LITTLE too far on this one...)

Vexen was relieved as he hastened away with the aid of an intricate network of dark corridors. Finally all the fangirls were out of the Castle... except for those that the other members had adopted as "pets." Or those who... (though he hated to admit it) scared him. Like that ghastly little horror with the scissors. It made him grind his teeth and want to lunge Marluxia's scythe at something— which only reminded him of the problem at hand even more. Ngh. (ooc://Watch Deathspank's FM+ video of Castle Oblivion 10th floor to get the details).

And he was still hungry. But he headed back to Xemnas's lab anyway. As always, what was supposed to be a short enough trip ended up being interrupted.

"Hmph." Vexen paused as his toe nudged a very large spiked object upon the floor. A fallen claymore from the weapons closet. What have I said to Saïx about leaving claymores around where anyone could pick it up and totally own him with it...? It was downright deplorable. Oh well. Might as well pick it up. So he did.

The moment his gloved hands touched it, a deranged gleam came into Marluxia's eyes and a spurt of petals came out of his hair. For once, he didn't pause to blush or swear. Instead, Vexen took off down the hallway with his lovely new Berserker blade.

The Keyblades ran away screaming at the sight of Mr.Baldy ('course, anyone would in their right mind...). Yep.

Plus, the figures were all dual-wielding at the end of Sunset Horizons. Now the knights only have one each. Anyone else find this difference?

But that isn't even Kairi's Keyblade xD. It's Mickey's golden Keyblade. Not a trace of flowers anywhere.

Speculation is fun. We all get concussions from banging our heads on our keyboards thinking up theories and then we wait for two years or so to see who was closest :)

"OOoh. Ooh," said Vexen, blinking as Heartless raced away to melt fearfully into the shadows. "Oooow. That's gotta hurt LOTS."

Vexen had finally gotten hungry, what with going into his version of Berserkiness and all, and had gone to the kitchen in search of a snack. Like a rice ball, his favorite. Or pickled vegetables, Zexion's specialty. But there were no more pickles, as the current Zexion didn't feel very well-disposed towards anyone right about now. There wasn't even any more chicken left. And plus, the air was a blur of flying scissors, fleeing Heartless, some random Nobody dancing around for absolutely no reason, and a haze of highly dangerous weapons that seemed intent on decapitating the former Number Four. And these petals were seriously getting annoying. An absolutely charming place to be in.

"STOP THROWING MY SCISSORS, YOU DIM BULB!" shouted Vexen at the top of his lungs to Vivani. "THEY'RE GETTING ALL DIRTY WITH YOUR STABBITY-ING..." It wasn't until a pair of scissors pinned the petal floating next to his ear to the cupboard behind him that he got the feeling that he was in a potential danger zone.

(ooc://Oh, and by the way, if Nobodies don't have hearts, then they don't have circulatory systems. Which means they don't have respiratory systems. Which means they don't breathe. But I'm PRETTY positive that almost all of them are shown panting (breathing) just before they fade away... )

I see how Sora, Xehanort, and Kairi relate to this, but I'm not exactly sure how Mr. Baldy got in here. I'm guessing this happened in the past, as the people are older. Maybe Baldy is a form of evil from the past?

The Roxas-equivalent and the Kairi-equivalent were pretty much defeated by the end of the movie, so maybe they lost their hearts to Kingdom Hearts and were later reborn as Sora and Kairi- which would explain the "All fates are not coincidence" part. The Xehanort-like figure (as much as I can tell by the eyes transformation) gets the taint of the darkness and appears without a clue in the Radiant Garden, where his recurring memories then lead him to continue research in the powers of the heart and the darkness. This might explain the similaries in clothing between Baldy and Xehanort's heartless, as well as the costume similarity in Xehanort's Heartless/Baldy's puppets. The problem is, I can't see how Riku would tie into this.

As for Mickey at the end, I think he somehow managed to travel back in time to see these events. After all, what was he doing the entire time during KH1?

And because Nomura also hinted that this scene would happen again in the future, perhaps their "reincarnations"- Sora, Kairi, and the like- will converge?

Furthermore, I'm doubtful that we shall be seeing these knights again except for intros. The KH series is about the kids, after all.

The parts about the Meagers were really interesting- now that I see them, I can almost believe they are true. But I admit it's kinda hard to believe the part about the Meagers being the kids' relatives. I'm sure that this would've happened too far back, and besides, why are they all shown being close to death in the end? Keep in mind that Square Enix has to keep this easy for others to follow...
