Indeed it does...I composed my own version of this theory before I knew other people had...and it's seeming more and more credible as time goes by...further proof...a Nobody/Heartless has about half the power of the original...so combine Ansem and Xemnas...and you should get a really really scary powerful guy ._.
After thinking on this...I had a possible idea...on how Xehanort COULD be one of the knight and the knights still be new characters... Premise 1: Arkham dude is Xeha. Premise 2: He eventually is defeated by the knight who appears similar to Xeha. Premise 3: As a final attempt at victory Arkham!Xeha sends his soul into the Knight, destroying the Knight's original self. Conclusion: Knight becomes Xeha as we know him, with memory loss, and white/silver from the trauma of body to body transference since it is possible to go gray from traumatic experiences..
I'm noticing some contradictions of earlier interviews. Nomura once said that KH had a definitive end and would not turn into an FF like series. This seems to contradict that. Furthermore he did say the knights were connected to preexisting characters and is now retracting that to say most of them aren't. If there is an international release yay if not, oh well. It would be interesting to try these data battles though.
This really isn't a spoiler. o_O Unless you totally skipped the original CoM..now I can see Riku's final boss having a spoiler warning due to the nature of his story, but Marly?

I decided to look on gamefaqs and saw the link. Clicked it and watched. Yes, he grabs the Roxas looking knight's head and starts crushing it then freezes him and just chucks him off the cliff like he was nothing.
I saw the whole thing...what basically happens was.. SPOILERS Sunset Horizons...Arkham dude walks towards knights...splits into 2. The second one turns into Venom. Knighty rushes them. Arkham lifts his arm and the ground blocks Knighty. Lots of fighting...Arkham grabs The Roxas looking Knight and freezes him then throws him off a cliff. He...dies in the girl knight's arms it looks like... Then it shows KH above them with Mickey looking at it looking angry and determined
Nomura said the Knights were all new characters... And on a related note...o_o this is an interesting thing to wake up and see...
It's an interesting theory...but there are some issues with it...my numbers correspond to yours. 1. Couldn't that have had something to do with Ansem being in Riku's heart? After all Riku himself said he could smell Ansem at one point in CoM. 2. Couldn't that have had something to do with Ansem being there once again? Or bred being used as a metaphorical term for how Riku was almost raised( albeit for a very short time) as a servant of the dark by Maleficent? 3. Didn't Riku's mastery of darkness come from the possession by Ansem? Given that he couldn't truly weild it until the second fight in KH1 when Ansem was in control. Also on the hair and darkness thing, you could easily make the same point and prclaim Sephiroth and Riku to be related. It'snot that decisive a point. 4. Quite a few things in KHII have similar moves and commands. This doesn't necessarily imply blood relation.
I'm a bit confused...during the battle footage with Axel...several cards were burned in an attempt to break his cards...but there was a zero right there.
