Wow... that's kind of just awesome.
What Spike said. I originally thought the entire game would have to do with Roxas and Sora running around on two separate planes doing keyblader stuff, and towards the end they would gang up and be permanently in the same party (with Riku joining eventually at some point too). Well, I also thought that Roxas was an ordinary kid. Obviously, he is not...
I actually have soft spots for both of them, for different reasons: Pokemon gave the ideas that one could work towards whatever a person wished to be, as long as one did not give up. And that anyone could do it if they tried. It was mostly that, plus the idea of running around with little pocket monsters and having adventures without real parental guidance that brought it to become one of my older favorites. It was essentially the idea of growing up and living in harmony with whatever was around. Not to mention the morals and other lessons. And TR was always a laugh. I eventually stopped watching it though because it felt like the story of each episode was essentially the same. Digimon... I loved for the characters and the storyline. Granted, it wasn't the most amazing anime I've ever watched, but it also leads for a slightly older audience than Pokemon, and is probably what affected me the most. I didn't exactly like the digimon characters themselves, it was the individual humans and how they interacted with each other more. Especially because they change rather drastically from the beginning of the season to the end. (I'm going to refer to seasons 1 and 2, because those are the only ones I ever really grew attached to) Each person has a particular trait that they have to tap into in order to help their partners, and each of these traits is some sort of thing like courage, friendship, love, reliability, etc. This basically covered the moral bases of the show, and also went for the character development. And some of the problems involved in the show are along the lines of real life, which echo more of the lead towards an older audience and probably just much better story in general than Pokemon. For example, one of the characters had an older brother that got killed, which affects practically everything he does for most of the second season. There's also the adoptee, the siblings separated by divorce, and others... Anyway, between the two, I enjoy Digimon for the story and characters, and Pokemon for the otheworld-ness and ideas of growing up (which were very attractive at the age of ten). Both have their special points, but both are also probably meant for slightly different audiences. Nostalgically, for me at least, they're both equal.
Far too many, and I keep them all at home (which for me is on the other side of the country from where I actually live the rest of the year) So for what I can remember... Do As Infinity - New World Do As Infinity - Gates of Heaven Do As Infinity - Need Your Love Do As Infinity - True Song Utada Hikaru - Ultra Blue Utada Hikaru - Distance Utada Hikaru - Single Collection V.1 FFX OST FFIX OST FFVII OST YUI - Can't Buy My Love Yellowcard - Paper Walls Hoobastank - The Reason Sum 41 - Does This Look Infected Yolanda Kondonassis - Debussy's Harp Yolanda Kondonassis - Scintillation Yolanda Kondonassis - Quietude Yolanda Kondonassis - The Romantic Harp Dolphins OST The Parent Trap OST Nancy Allen - Debussy's Harp Works Seiji Ozawa - Stravinsky's Petrouchka and the Rite of Spring Celibidache - Tchaikovsky 5th and the Nutcracker Suite Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto collection Sarah Chang - Sweet Sorrow Orff - Carmina Burana Marisa Robles - Harp Concertos The Corrs - Home Transformers OST Hero OST Cherish the Ladies - Woman of the House ... and many other Classical music recordings, which include the Poulenc double piano concerto, Stravinsky's Firebird suite, lots of Ravel's works, Mahler 1, Tchaikovsky's Symphony Pathetique, Mozart 40 and 29, Rachmaninoff piano concertos 1 and 2, Gliere symphonies, some Vaughn Williams, the Scheherezade symphony, Beethoven emperor concerto... I think I'll stop there... Seriously though, Tchaik 5 is AMAZING.
I like knitting... and doing roundhouse kicks. I don't think I know anyone else who likes to do roundhouse kicks for fun...
I'm not sure about the wmv, but I know there's an AVI version for download somewhere (the first version of the secret ending that came out), and you could use software to convert that file into a wmv file. I like using SUPER.
KH Re:COM, almost done with Sora's part, and soon to be doing Riku's. KHIIRM+, already beat it and am working on getting the extra secret ending Guitar Hero III, which is going on hold until May... Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, need to get the NE sea chart...
I'm stealing my brother's. I walked into Gamestop today and saw the Crisis Core 'Coming Soon Reserve Now' game covers sitting on the shelves. It made me quite happy. Hey, are PSPs region free?
Did you get your second airship yet? Basically, since you're out of that tree, go to the previously abandoned kingdom and talk to the king. Sorry, it's been a while since I played and I don't remember names... And once you have that airship... so many new things! I think you go to the Tower of Owen after that... I'd suggest going to Gamefaqs.com for more guidance. Wish I could be of more help.
Yep, and I suggest any Death Note fan watch them just to see how everything changes. Plus L is kind of amazing. I think Ouran High School Host Club would be among the easier ones to make live action mostly through the lack of extremely flashy special effects needed. I might otherwise say something like Bleach, except for the incredible amount of extra work it would need. ... I've seen a live action DBZ before. It gave me nightmares. *shudder*
I like Oathkeeper, personally. Except Roxas' keyblade from KHIIFM+ is kinda awesome too...
Xaldin (American version) Roxas and Xemnas (playing KHFM+ proud mode)... I'm not sure what happened with me on the KHFM+. Because suddenly Xaldin was one of the easiest bosses for me to beat, and Xemnas was crazy. Roxas... well, he's just that way, I guess. I'm not counting any of the extra stuff, by the way...
Of just these, I'd totally go for VII. I'm really happy with all this FFVII compilation stuff, but still, the original game would be awesome. I'm really happy about the FFIV right now though. Just as much as I squeed over the FFIII. What I really want to see though... is FFVI remade, because that game was amazing.
Getting the Gold Chocobo, Knights of the Round materia, and basically every possible extra thing one can do in FFVII without the third disc. ... yeah, I kind of didn't have the third disc. I was borrowing the game from a friend.
Final Fantasy I - Black Mage, White Mage, Fighter, Monk Final Fantasy II - Preset Final Fantasy III - 2 mages, 2 fighters, usually stick with a Red Mage and Monk for a while though, up to the best classes of these types. (I played the original NES version, am now working on the DS one...) Final Fantasy IV - Preset. Final Fantasy V - Preset, but with 2 mages, 2 fighters. Final Fantasy VI - whoever is at the lowest levels, and Celes. Though for a long time, just Celes, Sabin, and Setzer whenever possible because I was working on beating the game with only 3 characters. Final Fantasy VII - Cloud, and whoever's at the lowest levels Final Fantasy VIII - Squall, and whoever's at the lowest levels Final Fantasy IX - Zidane, and whoever's at the lowest levels Final Fantasy X - They change very frequently. Wakka seems to get a lot of screentime. Final Fantasy X-2 - preset And I haven't played XI or XII. And I think it's pretty straightforward for Tactics Advance and FFVII: DOC. The entire lowest levels thing is so that every character gets used and everyone grows at about the same rate. Except the main character of course, who ends up like 10 levels above everyone else.
Even better, for FFVII fangirls. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw this. Fanservice, if I ever guessed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAZEyxGqSj8 Minor Crisis Core spoilers though... nothing you don't know about if you've seen the trailers on the official website.
I was sad the first time around... though the effect was marred a bit because I was playing on a PSX emulator and it sped up the scene by about 4x. >.< Also because I'd already seen the ending to FFX by the time I finished the first disc, and had thus been spoiled by pretty graphics.
FFVII. It's what got me hooked into Final Fantasy and from there, Kingdom Hearts. It will always hold a very special place in my heart. Watching AC and then seeing the secret ending of Crisis Core brought on so many goosebumps. The ending of Crisis Core showed in full CG a scene already tragic enough to begin with in the original FFVII... I can also proudly say I've played most of the FF games... I'm just missing the Gamecube ones, Tactics, XI and XII. Of which I should really start XII. It's been sitting on my shelf for a good few months... dangit, KHIIFM+, you've stolen my soul.
Passion - Utada Hikaru (any version except English ones) Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro - Utada Hikaru Seki-ray - Gackt Find Yourself - Brad Paisley Butterfly (piano version) - Wada Kouji Why - Ayaka Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright Na no Hanabatake - Do As Infinity Silent Lucidity - Queensryche Iris - Goo Goo Dolls "Nimrod" from the Enigma Variations - Edward Elgar Strangely too, "Price of Freedom" from the Crisis Core OST... simply because of what's happening in the game when it's playing... Snow by Red Hot Chilli Peppers is good too... just that every time I hear it I think Death Note. Really, there are too many.
Actually, I think that might be somewhat related... there is some reason why Terra keeps talking about his anger and hatred for Xehanort right before going berserk on Sora. Either that, or he's just mad because Master Xehanort did a lot of stuff during BBS, which I guess is more likely...
