Scarlett used Blitz so Cal wouldn't murder her creator.
"Oh please." Scarlett pulled back from the attack to respond to Thomas. "Flirting with every girl you see is not respect. It's called acting like a child." She was breathing a bit heavily and her long side bangs were flowing haphazardly from her battle-focused face. Even in battle, Scarlett was stunning. Her tone arms were flexed in a attack position and her long graceful legs were bent at the knee, preparing to lunge forward. She loved every second of battle. Scarlett loved the thrill, the excitement, the rush of power she felt when engaged in combat like this. But yet, there was still the nagging thought of Thomas's attempt at being nice to her that stuck in the back of her mind. Forget it Scarlett, you need to focus on the battle, not on some childish attempt at respect. Fueled by this new-found anger, Scarlett launched another fierce attack on the monster. Scarlett used Blitz!
Scarlett scowled at the sight of Thomas on the last Pegasus. She didn't want to get left behind, especially when this was such a big part of the mission. She sighed and rolled her eyes, not bothering to acknowledge his ramblings. "Move over." Scarlett climbed on the Pegasus, careful not to touch Thomas in any way shape or form. Once she had properly positioned herself, she realized a slight problem. The Pegasus didn't exactly come with assembled handles. You've got to be kidding me. There is no way in hell I am putting my arms around him. "Don't even think about pulling anything." She remarked to him with a serious tone. Soon after, the Pegasus took off and landed, allowing Scarlett to follow the others into the cave. Oh, and there was some abominable snow man there too. "We seriously don't have time for this." She groaned for a moment, and then launched into a Blitz attack. Scarlett used Blitz!
Scarlett followed the others silently as they proceeded to follow the map. Once they had arrived close to the top, she noticed the huge tower of ice and was about to hop onto her Pegasus when suddenly, who else but Thomas approached her. Are you kidding me? I thought I made it clear that I was done dealing with his crap. She sighed as she waited for him to explain himself. He pulled out a jewel and began to talk, so Scarlett remained silent until he was done. "Wait a minute, you actually stole that from the shop?" The kid had guts, not just for stealing it but for even approaching her again in the first place after that nicely placed kick.It wasn't exactly a sassy or mean tone, it may have even sounded surprised a little bit. Scarlett quickly refocused herself though and resumed her usual annoyed facial expression and sarcastic tone. "Unfortunately for you, I'm not some poor girl you can buy off with jewels and a poorly said apology." Scarlett did a quick look over her shoulder to make sure all the others had flown out of reach before she continued. "A bit of advice for next time. Don't be a cocky ***** and maybe you won't get a knee to the crotch. And I'm not your lady." She sighed, combing a hand through her ponytail as she turned to.... Her Pegasus. Which was gone. It had flown up with the others, leaving Scarlett with Thomas and his Pegasus. She cursed under her breath and turned slowly towards Thomas, who was already on his Pegasus. Ugh.
Scarlett would have bargained with the man, but she really wasn't in a mood to compromise. She waited extremely impatiently, tapping her foot and looking annoyed. Suddenly, Thomas was actually doing something productive. Thank gosh. Maybe Scarlett's rant actually knocked some sense into him. Finally, the old man pulled something out. Scarlett snatched it up with a sigh. "Well, sucks to be that guy doesn't it?"
Don't turn around. Don't turn around. Don't bloody turn around. Keeping freaking walking Scarlett. It had been only a few steps before thoughts of regret started to fill Scarlett's mind. Yeah, okay, Thomas was being a cocky ******. But the kick was probably a bit much. He was just trying to impress the princess or whatever. Who cares if he does one thing right? Who cares if he has one "act of courage" that helps out only a little bit? Scarlett was sure he would be totally destroyed when it came time for the Magic Tournament anyway, so maybe she should have let him have that one little moment of fame. After all, his dreams would probably be completely crushed (just like his jewels just were, courtesy of Scarlett's knee) in the Tournament. Scarlett was over halfway between Thomas and the princess now, so she decided a small look back wouldn't hurt. It only lasted for a second. She swiveled her head around just enough to see that he was standing up, and quickly snapped it back forward and continued walking. Focus on the mission. The wand. That ugly ass Wenlock guy. The princess. Suddenly, Scarlett's mind was filled with the image of Thomas's lips making contact with Annikas. She frowned. Ew. That was an image that she didn't want to see. She shook her head gently, trying to fill it with something, anything but that. She approached Aidan and the rest of the group. "So, we gonna get a move on or what? That Wenlock guys isn't gonna get his ass kicked on his own, and we've gotta tight schedule, remember?" She paused momentarily. "Chop chop people. Let's hurry this up." Any minute spent here was another minute spent with Thomas and right now Scarlett was still a bit pissed and didn't want to have to deal with any more of his **** today.
Scarlett scowled at Thomas after his first comment about her being some stupid prize. She was about to do the mature thing and just give an eye roll and walk away, but lets be honest she wasnt about to let him off easily, especially after he just had to run his cocky little mouth. Her back was to him when he added in the second part about being jealous and all. So much for being mature... Scarlett whipped around to face the moron. "I'd rather rot in hell than be considered your prize. Come to think of it, I'd rather rot in hell and be doomed to be with that boring Aidan guy for the rest of eternity than to be your stupid little prize. And for the record," Scarlett wasted no time delivering her knee swiftly up between Thomas's legs, (attempting to) make contact just between high thighs for the best effect. "That was just a warm up. The next time you call me 'baby,' I'll make damn sure you will never be able to have any." Her eyes were squinted in a fierce way and her fists were clenched as she delivered that final life. What an ass. She glared him down for another second to make sure he got her point, and began to walk away, making sure to flip him off with her right hand over her shoulder.
Scarlett was too absorbed in her rant that she hasn't noticed the jar of dirt grow. Once the princess pointed it out, Scarlett took a small step back and her mouth opened a little. Her face was a mix of confusion and surprise and a little bit of awe. Once Thomas turned back to her, she tried to wipe it off so he wouldn't see. She put one hand on her hip as rolled her eyes as he tried to show off with a little side smirk, I should wipe that annoying little smirk off his face in one punch. But, she didn't. They had more important things to do. "Congratulations on accomplishing one small thing in the entire span of your lifetime. Do you want a freakin medal or something?" She rolled her eyes sarcastically, irritated at his edge over her. She hated second place, especially to someone like Thomas. At this moment she realized she was still standing really close to Thomas. She hesitated for a fraction of a second, but quickly stepped away, annoyed. They needed to get this mission completed already.
Scarlett was relieved to see the group members exit the pot. Now maybe they could get back to the missio- And then Thomas kissed Annika. Scarlett watched the event unfold, her eyes widening a bit and her lips curled in annoyance and something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Her fists clenched and she squinted her eyes back into their normal pissed off position. "Yeah something happened here. That idiot is too busy fantasizing about the princess to be focused on this mission." Scarlett walked over to the group members who had just gotten out of the pot, thankfully alive (unfortunately Thomas was one of them). She considered slapping him or even punching him, but decided that she was so mad she'd probably knock him out. Instead she walked right up to him, within a few inches, and stared angrily at him. "You. You need to stop this. This is pathetic. Grow up a little. Learn to be ****ing mature. Now is not the time to be prancing around kissing people. Sooner or later you are going to jeopardize this mission and probably get all of us killed. Grow. The. ****. Up." With the last for words her glare hardened and she pointed an accusing finger at his chest, getting closer at each word until it hit his shirt on the last one. She pushed him back roughly (or at least tried to because no direct hits) and stared him down.
Scarlett squinted her eyes a bit at Aidan. "It's not a slave trade you moron. Think of it as a... personal assistant exchange. Besides, I'm sure you'll love hearing him talk about girls all day." She sighed, waiting. This little expedition was taking longer than she expected and she really wanted to get back and beat the crap out of that Wenlock guy. "So, you gonna help us or not?" Scarlett raised her eyebrows at Aidan.
Scarlett nearly laughed as this Aidan guy starting talking. "What's in it for you?" She mimicked, rolling her eyes. "You're just as much as a greedy, creepy, oh and don't forget completely worthless of a fighter as I thought you were." She sighed, trying to think of options. This idea to give him a royal reward sounded decent, but Scarlett knew it wouldn't last long. Guys like this Aidan needed tangable items. She spent one moment thinking and quickly fired back. "Orrrr... Instead of some worthless reward we could give you that wonderful man go just jumped down that slide. You know, he's about yay tall," she motioned jokingly,"with about a yay small brain," she shrunk the space in between her hands to an inch, "and he's got a hell of a big ego." She spread her hands apart bigger for visual effect. "You can keep him for all I care. Make him serve you grapes or whatever the hell you want as long as you help us out and keep your end of the bargain." She raised as eyebrow as she kept eye contact with Aidan, waiting to see his reaction to her proposal.
This Mysterious Man was starting to annoy Scarlett. It was bad enough that he didn't respond to any of her insults, but he was also taking forever to kill. "Alright man. Just give up now and maybe you'll keep a shard of your already shattered dignity." Scarlett used Blitz!
Scarlett rolled her eyes at the conversation going on around her. "You just don't ever shut up, do you?" She groaned at Thomas, not taking her eyes off her target. "Maybe you should hang back and watch the real fighters do their job." She took off running into a deadly Blitz attack, striking with a frustrated fury of shots. Scarlett used Blitz!

Scarlett (who had been extremely busy irl omg) suddenly snapped back into action. "Wow so cliche. You'll fight to try to win the girl. How charming." Scarlett sneered with sarcasm and rolled her eyes in an exaggerated motion. "You're basically asking for a death wish, but hey, that's your choice pal." Scarlett used Blitz!
Scarlett whipped her head around at Thomas as the Queens little history lesson came to a close. First, she'd deal with this cocky perv, and then onto more serious matters. "Actually, you little sexist *******," She took a step toward him with a threatening look. Then, Scarlett surprisingly leaned slightly forward, exaggerating her chest just a little bit because she knew Thomas would stare. "Girls were made beautiful so they can kick mens' ass and look good doing it." She bent forward just enough so that he almost got a peek, but then straightened up quickly and delivered a swift yet forceful backhand to his right cheek. "And the next time you say another stupid ass comment like that, I'll give you a real demonstration."
Talking pegasus. Okay. But some stupid talking pegasus wasn't going to be able to help them much when it came to defeating this Wenlock guy. They arrived at some cloud castle and Scarlett took a moment to explore the main entrance. After that, she moved silently to the Throne Room. As she walked in and stood next to Thomas, she noticed yet another royal figure in the room. Ugh. She was getting tired of all these high and mighty people prancing around, too afraid to do any of the dirty work. "Look, lady--er your highness," She added an extremely noticeable sarcastic tone to that last part. "You know this Wenlock guy or not? If you don't, be thankful cause he looks like hell. If you do, then why don't you give us a hand instead of just running scared like everyone else?" She turned to survey everyones' responses, and instead saw Thomas, his gaping mouth open like usual. "Ugh." She moaned as she rolled her eyes at him. "Can't you do anything seriously without drooling over every girl you see?" Her eyes flicked down to his mouth and back up to his eyes in a sort of I Totally Saw That type of way.
Scarlett was about to kick this guy where the sun don't shine, but a convenient Pegasus flock decided to show up just in time. She wasted no time latching her hand onto the nearest creature and pulling herself up onto it. Sure, she wanted to beat the crap out of this guy, but she wasn't stupid. Scarlett knew they had no chance of beating him, not in their current situation. As she hopped on, Scarlett yelled back at Wenlock. "Hah! Women wouldn't chase you even if you had a million bucks in your hand. Well actually, if you had a million bucks, then maybe you'd be able to buy yourself a better outfit. You know, one that doesn't look like you just rolled out of a dumpster. While you're at it, that mustache isn't doing you any justice either." She grinned confidently. "Oh and did I mention how bad your eyebrows are looking? Damn, they're like two little forests up there." Man, it felt good to finally vent, even if it was wasted on this weird pervy guy. She hadnt said anything that harsh in a long time and it felt good to get it out.
Scarlett was about to freak out on Johanna for not realizing how much Dale cared about her, but it looks like they had other problems. This Wenlock guy randomly appeared, called her and Annika beautiful (ew back off dude) and suddenly turned people to stone. Well shiiiiit. She stepped in front of Annika protectively as she saw Wenlock put his hand on her shoulder. In one swift motion, Scarlett grabbed the creeps wrist and twisted it effortlessly, shoving his hand back towards him. (Technically there is no direct hits so lets just say this was her plan of how things were supposed to go.) "Bonus round my ass." Scarlett snarled, glaring at Wenlock. "You look here bud, you can't just march right on in here, call a few chicks beautiful, and freaking turn people to stone." She was completely pissed. Each word shot from her mouth like a dagger and her wicked red hair shimmered as her head shook. "So, I suggest you back off for one. Me and Annika are soooo out of your league anyway. And second, I suggest you turn those people back before I make you hurt in places you didn't even know you could feel pain."
Scarlett wasn't dumb. She could tell when someone was either embarassed or simply didn't want to talk about something. Changing the subject was one of the big red flags for that behavior. Trying not to punch Johanna for that stupid comment about her and Dale making a cute couple, she rolled her eyes forcefully. "No, I'm not interested in him. And for your information, I could do so much better than him. So how about you stop avoiding my question and just answer it already." Johanna had crossed her arms. It was almost a protective gesture from the way Scarlett saw it. "What does 'Nothing' mean? Theres obviously something." Scarlett raised her eyebrows, waiting.
