I think the next game will be part of a new series which takes place mainly in the past. Not really sure how they will handel the worlds though, I guess they could use older disney movies, or could try to recreate prequal verisons of disney worlds. To me, this is the hardest part of them making a prequal or events that take place in the past. Although there are many worlds that could work, such as pixar worlds which haven't been visited at all, or some of the 90's Disney cartoons(such as, we have seen chip and dale, but they could do a Resuce Rangers world that they lived in before going to Disney Castle). Then agian, you might play the game normaly in the future while also playing various flashbacks aswell.

One aspect to the worlds I think would be interesting to explore, would be, if all the worlds are actually one world. This would completely change the dynamic of the game, but would open up for some interesting set ups. So for example you could have Aladdin fighting Hades. This would also allow them to reuse old worlds, and simply say that when the worlds are split apart, everyone looses their memory of the past.

I have a feeling they will introduce a new form of Travel from world to world. I suppose they could introduce the orgins of the Gummi Ship, but I think it would be more interesting to see other methods to travel from world to world, such as how we saw the Train in Twilight Town. This actually brings up a point that I don't think was ever really explained, which is how Mickey goes about traveling from world to world, I assume he used the Corridars of Darkness...Maybe we will discover a way to open pathways to other worlds useing our Keyblades.

If it does take place in the past, we will likely not have Donald and Goofy, so who will our Side Kicks be? Maybe we will be playing all newly created characters such as the Knights; or perhaps we won't have Side kicks at all, and play as a solo character. But what Im hoping is we play a character(Ven) that teams up with a freshly trained Mickey, and change out the third spot with whatever world you happen to be in.

Anothing feature I think will eventaullly be changed in someway is the use of Magic. I think after working with the development of Crisis Core, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy XIII Verses; Im pretty sure Nomura will have a more effective way to use magic in game.

Following the trend of the last two games, we will more than likely have a new "Traverse Town" of some sort, one that refects the new game's setting.

So remeber that letter Pluto had at the end of Kingdom Hearts I... Was it ever explained what it said, or why it was sent. Could the letter at the end of Kingdom Hearts II be the same one, or a completely unrelated one? I just got to thinking, with seeing Mickey in the "Birth by Sleep" trailer, that maybe there was more he had to tell everyone but just never had the time to with everything else that was going on. So was this ever explained, and do you think the letters are the same ones?

hum....a heart created from the fragments of the hearts from destroyed worlds?...
Also, seems to me that Traverse Town would recreate itself everytime enough worlds are destoryed, it would be interesting to see it return.

That would seem to be the most logical answer, except for the fact that Traverse Town had a key hole which I find somewhat confusing... I guess it's possible it could have a key hole, but it just seems strange.

In Kingdom Hearts II I would say my favorite boss battles are:

*While playing as Roxas the Last battle with Axel.

*(Not really a boss fight but..)In the land of Dragons, fighting the hooded figure, that later turns out to be Riku.

*And ofcourse all the final battle was pretty awesome.

Least favorite would probably be Demyx or the Tron boss. Demyx because I just dislike any battles that lead to instant death based off a timelimit or that sort of thing; and the Tron boss(Hostile Program, I think) just because I disliked pretty much all of the Tron world.

As for the title of the next game, I do not think just because "Birth by sleep" is in english it means it will be the title. I believe the trailer "Another Side" was in english too(although it's been a while). Also other words in English from the first tralier are:

    Master of the Keyblade
    The Lost Two
    Memory of Xehanort
    Chasers
    Keyblade War

and then it says, "it all begins with Birth by Sleep"...

Actually it would be kinda cool if these were the actual titles of the games in the new series, although that would mean there are six new games in the series which I somewhat doubt they would have THAT many planned at this point.

If I had to guess, I think the new game will be something completely unexpected yet still in theme with the series, along the lines of "Source of Memory" or "Awakened Hearts"....

According to Kingdom Hearts I: Traverse Town was created from fragments of the worlds destroyed by the Heartless. So at the end of Kingdom Hearts I, what happens to Traverse Town? Is it destroy? Does it reappear everytime the Heartless start destorying worlds? Idk just seemed odd to me that we never hear about it agian, yet it was an important part of the game.

That is a good point, maybe if someone's Light side is strong enough it lives on...

Perhaps Sora is the "Light" of Ven? Which would kinda explain why maybe Roxas looks like Ven, but is the darker side of Sora? So maybe everyone looses their bodies in "Birth By Sleep", but Ven and Aqua manage to graft their memories to their armor?

I agree with what you are hinting at, I have long thought the term "Birth by Sleep" has hidden meaning in it. You could say it is refering to the trailer, since it seems some important battle is taking place. My personal theory is that it deals with the "Birth of Sora." Do you ever wonder at the very begining of Kingdom Hearts I (during the opening song) you see Sora looking at himself flying down to Destiny Island. This happens 3 times that we know of:

    1. Opening of Kingdom Hearts I - Sora has a dream or is remebering something and ask "is any of this real?" Later we see Sora looking up as he seems himself flying down from the sky. We can also see many other people/objects falling behind him....interesting...

    2. Opening to Kingdom Hearts II - Right after Sora enters the Pod, we see him flying towards Destiny Island. Later we see Roxas falling under water the same way Sora was in the Kingdom Hearts I opening.

    3. We see it at the End of Kingdom Hearts II - Sora and Riku see the door to light open, and then fall from the sky and land on Destiny Island.

When you go back and watch, I actually think the Opening to Kingdom Hearts I is the most interesting. Are all those things in the background Keyblades falling to their worlds? Other Keyblade Masters? Or could this just be a way of showing people traveling between realms?

If you read the Awakening Theory thread, you could say that maybe Sora was born when his Dark Realm counter part "Awakened" but perhaps didn't complete the process right. Remeber if going by this theory, Xehanort didn't remeber anything when he was first found either...

I would say Atlantica, but it was short and optional, as well as spread out in small doses to help ease the pain...
So I would have to go with Tron actually. The reasons being the 1-hit death mini games, annoying voice acting, an overall unenjoyable world IMO. I simply didn't have any sort of connection to it, I didn't feel as if I must save Trons world, I just wanted to get the heck out of there and continue to other worlds. I know they tried to fit it into the story and all, but it just felt tact on to me. I think it had the potitnal to be really fun, but it just wasn't. Oh and did I mention the music, it's one the few musical tracks I skip when listing to the OST, so you can imagin how it felt hearing it over and over agian while playing.

With that said, I definatly found Lion King to be the most disapointing since it was one of the best movies, yet not a very memorial world.

well, I assume he gets the Star Seeker from Yen Sid, just as Sora does in Kingdom Hearts II. And the Dark Realm Keyblade would be the one he has at the end of Kingdom Hearts I, and in COM.

I just noticed something unrelated to Larxene's death, but still related to the first video posted. I don't know why I never noticed this before but could anyone explain the line: "Did you get the data on Riku's Home?"...
Am I overthinking this or does that seem to have more too it than it seems?

And as for Larxene's Death, I was dissapointed she didn't return in Kingdom Hearts II, one of the most cruel, and best villians in the series, IMO.

The New Worlds I would like to see include:

    Duck Tales
So much you could do with this one. You would obviously be saving Scrouges Money Bin, and number 1 dime.
    First Location: Duckburg
    First Boss: Beagle Boys
    Second Location: Magica's Island
    Second Boss: Magica De Spell

    TaleSpin
Maybe include some minigames delivering various objects while flying and fighting in the sky.
    Location: Cape Suzette
    Boss: Don Karnage

    Toy Story
    This one seems obvious.

    Sleeping Beauty
    A final showdown with Maleficent!!

    Hercules
I would like to see more of the world, but you have to have the Colliseum.

    Treasure Planet

    Chernabog's World
Possibly the most evil character ever created.

    Pirates of the Caribean 2/3

    The Incredibles

I think these would work best in a kingdom hearts style game, can't wait to see what they come up with.

This is a major spoiler but I don't know if it is confirmed.

According to the manga verison they hint at Axel coming back in some form. Basicly, "Axel didnt die, but rather returned to his original form."

Agian I have only heard this second hand, I cannot read Japanese so Idk what the Manga says, if anyone can confirm this that would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you ment Kingdom Hearts Ultimania?

The Ultimania are guide books published by SquareEnix in Japan. Most of the time they are huge and feature all the origianl artwork, and script ideas. It's almost like a making-of book with everything. As far as I know they only publish them in Japan though.

I hope that helps, if not then I have no idea what KH Unlimted is, unless there is maybe a Manga or something I don't know about.

EDIT: actually after searching online I found there is a KH website, and also a fan fiction both named Kingdom Hearts Unlimted. Ofcourse neither of these are "offical" Kingdom Hearts projects.

Great theory, probably the best I've heard so far! I love the idea of the third existiance being called the "Awakened," it just seems to feel right to me. A few points I would like to add based off the new reports released.

*I believe "Fate of the Unknown" takes place in the realm of Darkness version of the Crossroads, in the past. The way I see it, it is sometime after Mickey trains, he shows up as he does at the end of the trailer. During the trailer we can see Kingdom Hearts starting to open but maybe Mickey doesn't fully understand what this means. After those events Mickey goes in search of "Larry" (or the remains of Baldy to be exact) and finds Ansem, as described in the Ansem Reports. Mickey assumes all is well since Ansem remebers nothing, and goes back home. However, because the door to Kingdom Hearts is open worlds start to disappear, so the close the door Mickey has to return to the realm of Darkness to get a Keyblade to close the door from the other side(which happens in at the End of Kingdom Hearts I).
