Oh, ok, trying to play a Gamecube game with a Wii-mote makes it behave the way you described so I thought it might be your problem.
Is your sensor bar ok then ?

You can' t play Gamecube games with a Wii-mote (makes sense, it doesn' t have as much buttons), you have to plug a Gamecube pad into your Wii (there' s 4 Gamecube pad plugs on the Wii, hidden under a side pannel). Even having a classic controller plugged into your Wii-mote won' t do, the Wii-mote will be disabled as soon as you launch a Gamecube game.

You also have to plug a Gamecube Memory Card if you want to save your game, you can' t save Gamecube files on your Wii.

I don' t mind curse words at all, I pay more attention to what people say than to the way they say it.
I could throw a vitriolic pamphlet at someone, managing to be very insulting while only using "respectable" words, or I could use swear words in an perfectly innocuous conversation.

I get why one would just censor swear words regardless of their context when aiming at children, but that' s it. Once they are teenagers chances are they already came across their fair share of swear words, regardless of the kind of parents they have, unless they spent their life stucked in a Tibetan cave or a monastery. They also probably have a good idea of what is or isn' t acceptable to say in a conversation, unless they' re total dummies. I mean come on, any teenager who reads "you can kiss my ***" just knows what the last word was, those little stars or bleeps are as inefficient as they are ridiculous.

Maybe Americans in general are a little more touchy about swear words and sex than other countries, I' ve often see American stars amazed by the freedom of speech that French public channels have. I' m pretty sure I could get banned from KHV just by posting certain French shows videos, although they were broad-casted on a public channel at 8pm. Each country has its own taboos. For example in Dragon Ball the scenes that were cut or altered in France were the bloody scenes, whereas in America it was the nudity scenes.

At the end of the day which color you choose to use matters much less than what you' re painting with it. The mindless censorship of any swear words (or of any violent or sexual content) in teenagers or adult material is just as smart a way to deal with reality as this :

I don' t see how it would improve the situation, there would still be people enjoying games for free at the expanse of someone else. It would only prevent companies to gain more than they hope to. Personally I wouldn' t invest a cent in any game, I want to pay to enjoy a game right now, not give money to enjoy it at an unknown date, especially if its not even finished yet (which means there aren' t any review or video of the final product to give you an idea of what you' re paying for exactly, and the game may never see the light of day).

Sorry but I can' t think of a clever anti-piracy proposition to make.

Well, you already paid for that game so I say go for it.

I have no moral issues at all about pirating games that they couldn' t be bothered to make available to me. Chrono Cross, Parasite Eve, Xenogears, many other games and most of their "Final Mix + alpha turbo zodiac international" versions were never released in Europe. I' m not gonna sit on acclaimed masterpieces just because they didn' t bother to sell them in my country. If pirates made them available when SE did not then too bad for them, if they don' t want my money in the first place they aren' t gonna complain that I didn' t pay for those games, are they ? Hell, they could have made them available on the PSN so that I can finally buy an official version, but noooo, you see them dangling in front of you on the US PSN but the console won' t let you buy them with a European credit card.

Personally my video-game budget has always been the same, with or without piracy, and sometimes I even end up buying games I already pirated when an occasion presents itself, so I download video-games without feeling ashamed (99% of them aren' t available where I live anyway).

Well, I' m agnostic but the word "ghost" has a very vague definition. Basically saying that we saw a ghost is another way to say that we have no frigging idea what we just saw, which is why I' m a little reluctant to use that word.

Maybe it' s time for me to tell one of the stories that my sister was told at the hospital :

A nurse came to check on a boy who had an operation planned a while later. She left him alone for a little while, and when she came back the boy was terrorized. He said he saw a woman who told him that he was going to die during his operation. The nurse knew that no one could have entered the room unnoticed, but she tried to calm the boy and talked to him. Turns out the woman he thought he saw was his dead grandmother. The nurse explained to the boy that his operation wasn' t complicated nor risky, that his life wasn' t threatened at all, but the boy didn' t seem to believe her. She left him alone for a while again, and when she came back the boy wasn' t scared anymore.

    - "Feeling better ?"
    - "Yes, I saw my granny again, she said that death wasn' t something to fear and that we would be together."

The nurse didn't believe for a second that this whole story could be more than a child' s medicated imagination going wild, and thought nothing of it. A few days later she heard that this boy indeed died during his benign operation.

I have a rational mind and will always search for a rational explanation first, but I witnessed something weird once :

Shortly after my great grandmother died (my granny' s mother) I had to spend one night alone in her house. I rolled a cigarette while watching TV, went outside to smoke it and then returned inside to watch some more TV. Both entrance doors were closed, all of the windows were closed, I really was alone in that house, but I saw a door slamming shut right before my eyes. And I do mean slamming. I felt no wind nor anything special, I can' t think of any rational explanation for this, if you have an idea please be my guest. Needless to say I was totally freaked out, I didn' t sleep well that night. I know the mind can play tricks sometimes but I sure didn' t imagine that slamming door. Not too sure it was the work of a "ghost" though ...

My sister works in a hospital. She didn' t witness anything weird, but her co-workers told her strange stories. She also told me that when somebody dies in the hospital they always open the windows where it happened for a while. There' s no rule or medical reason compelling them to do this, it' s more of a tradition that everyone follows.

    3ds 3d

More importantly we don' t all have the same brain, which processes the visual signals to "compute" the 3D and manages all our ocular behavior patterns. Some brains are more lazy than others when it comes to computing 3D, some get tired of it quickly while others can do it for hours, some have a certain comfort focal distance while others have a different one.

Also, watching 3D coming from a flat screen forces our eyes to behave in ways they never do in real life, which is why it can be damaging quickly for young children, causing permanent strabismus for example, there has been scientific studies about this. However there haven' t been such studies on adults yet, so we don' t know if the frequent and prolonged use of 3D devices can be damaging for them too. I guess the large number of 3DS users will do as test-subjects on the matter.
