Yes, but I thought he just called Data Maleficent, he had a screen of Data Hollow Bastion right in front of him.
Humm, here' s what the Kingdom Hearts Wiki says :

Having apparently survived the destruction of The Castle that Never Was, Maleficent was at a loss with her plans with the Heartless gone, her control over the darkness weakened, all her allies save for Pete defeated, and still without a base of operations. Desperate to make yet another comeback, the sorceress sends Pete to Disney Castle to spy on the king and bring her up to date on events. Pete eventually enters the journal world when Mickey turned the journal into a Data World to find answers to unsolved questions. Maleficent is summoned into the data world by Pete when he is sent there.
Together they decide that they could use the data world to forward Maleficent's original plans to find Kingdom Hearts and fill the worlds with darkness. The pair plan to build up a huge army of Heartless under their complete control by using the Journal's data on the creatures and then send them into the real world to conquer Disney Castle and the rest of the worlds. Maleficent planned to either destroy Mickey or simply leave him trapped in the Journal's data world.
She reappears in person in the data version of Agrabah. At the entrance to the Cave of Wonders, she strikes down the data version of Sora and destroys his data Keyblade. After, she gloats and summons Shadows. Data-Sora later fights and defeats her in her Dragon form. Later, when the debugging of the journal is complete and the Data World is being deleted, Jiminy Cricket remembers that Pete and Maleficent never left the Data World. Data-Sora rushes back to the Data Hollow Bastion to save them, and finds them fighting the corrupted version of Sora's Heartless, who is completely immune to their attacks. The Data-Sora attempts to save them, but they are both deleted before he can do anything.
However, after the battle, Data-Sora and King Mickey walk outside to find them alive, standing next to Data-Riku, who explains that there was a "rift in the data" where he was able to rescue them. Maleficent points out that this makes them even, referring to when she helped them in Kingdom Hearts II. Data-Riku then escorts Pete and Maleficent out of the Data World. A digital version of both later appear when Data-Sora goes to Castle Oblivion and attack him before leaving.

So ... Maleficent and Data Maleficent just happen to never meet each other ? There' s no Data Maleficent in Data Hollow Bastion ? Right ...

Huh ? In Re-Coded she was just a program created from Jiminy' s KH1 journal (erased by Namine, then tampered by DiZ).

For all we know DDD will mostly happen in a dream, so storywise everything' s possible. Maleficient singing la cucaracha, the Pope humming along, Michael Jackson dancing la macarena, you name it ...

In French "Quasimodo" is pronounced the same way as "Kasimodo", the English Disney version got the name pronunciation wrong.
I suppose the French novel was translated in Japanese long before the Disney movie, "Kashimodo" is probaby the Japanese translation they chose back then.

Yes. Why would you chicken out ? You seem to be very pragmatic, so your reluctance puzzles me.

    Sand.
    I don't like sand.
It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
I find its lack of faith disturbing, it should be erased from existence.

Actually it appears that Monstro ate Stromboli' s Circus whole, and other stuff too. At least that' s what the news says on Andriasang. This new Monstro world is called "Prankster' s Paradise".

    http://andriasang.com/comz0h/

After all this is all a dream, we should expect every world to be a little funkier than the original Disney material.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame world is called "La Cité des Cloches" (French for "Bells City").

I don' t know what' s the proper, err ... etiquette when it comes to those things, nor do I really care to know (which is weird cause I can be a bit of a grammar nazi, at least in French).
I know that I souldn' t put a space after apostrophes, but it' s an old habit of mine.

    @LARiA : What' s your real location ?

Re-Coded last boss uses several flying keyblades, some of his moves are quite similar to what Kairi does here.
    Coincidence or "homage" ?

You sure you don' t get it backwards ? Does it save you from emotional pain or does it just help you to ignore it (or to think you did) ? You used the word "persona" yourself, isn' t a persona the mask we show publicly to appear as we' d like to be seen and conceal what' s really going on inside ?

Knowing its own bad points is a strength, wrongly self-depreciating oneself is a weakness, the line between those two can get really blurry.

If you really want to know what your bad points are try to find where all this anger comes from. Venting out would only treat the symptoms for a while, you should try to fight the disease. Once you know what makes you angry confront it. I' m sure you can come up with a non-violent way to make a stand and change your situation, or to find some peace regarding things you have no control over. If it' s too hard to do it on your own then ask around for advice.

I hope that helped, good luck !

After seeing the Peace Walker ending I had the feeling a Metal Gear remake would come up eventually. Sure, the game already exists, but it would be a shame to leave what' s probably the most climatic confrontation (Big Boss Vs Solid Snake) of the whole saga untouched, in its 8 bit "sprites spouting a handful of text boxes" glory, Although I have nothing against 8 bit gameplay there is room for many story-telling improvements there.

That' s what I think too, but I know someone who' d disagree. I hope we' ll see it anyway, the "we' re so shady no one knows exactly what the **** we' re trying to do nor why we do it" shtick they got going was kinda cute at first, but five games later it' s just ridiculous (although I' m very much aware that Nomura wouldn' t mind chickening his way out of a solid explanation in the least).

Yes, and they officially said that this game will be released overseas.

I remember cause, in a way, it drove me mad at the time. I was like : "Oh hey, look at that, they' re announcing that this ... er ... thing ... total fan-service merchandising whore-ware that came out of nowhere a few weeks ago ... will be released here, and meanwhile they' re still shutting up about Type 0, one of their (if not THE) major FF release this year, a high-profile game that was revealed, like, a gazillion years ago. Cause, you know, that makes so much sense ..."
