If memory serves he cut his hair during a long hiatus, right before going to Nibelheim with Cloud. I think the last thing he did before that hiatus was killing Angeal, but I' m not sure.
This has Star Wars written all over it. At first Yoda couldn' t believe that a spiky-headed and scarred Jedi wielding a red saber was actually a Sith. Not to mention every freaking Jedi kissing the Emperor' s ass everyday. Later on, in the books, Luke Skywalker used a Force Detector on his pupils. He didn' t understand why one of them was displayed in red while all the others were displayed in blue. Wasn' t Eraqus dubbed by Mark Hamill ? :lolface:
Ah yes, I totally forgot that. Makes me wonder if Xehanort was born with yellow eyes or not (and how much of a dummy Eraqus was for trusting a yellow-eyed Xehanort).
Riku' s control over the darkness was fairly shaky at times though, and neither Riku nor Terra ever grew yellow eyes when they used the darkness. Have you ever heard that "eyes are a window to the soul" ? In KH soul = heart. I suppose Terranort' s eye color is a clue regarding who has the most grip over his heart at the moment. Yellow eyes would mean that Xehanort is in control, whereas brown eyes could be some kind of middle-ground (or a sign that Eraqus is the one in control ?).
I know Siren isn' t appealing to you, but I really have to second that. Although I think Forbidden Siren 1&2 are much better than the PS3 remake (they are longer and more disturbing) at least the remake has a toned down difficulty and an intelligible story. I thought I should mention that since you seem to mainly care about the storyline. Also, here' s another awesome horror game no one mentioned : "Eternal Darkness : Sanity' s Requiem" on Gamecube. It' s a psychological horror game, the first M rated game directly published by Nintendo. Its story and gameplay picked many ideas from Lovecraft novels. From Wikipedia : Though not a commercial success, Eternal Darkness was widely praised, even winning the Outstanding Achievement in Character or Story Development award at the 6th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. In RE3 Leon' s character file (seen above) implied that he made a deal with the government to secure Sherry Birkin, yet she was never heard of since. In RE4 Leon protects the president' s blond daughter, Ashley Graham, who is the exact same age as Sherry. Then in the RE6 trailer comes this blond chick, she has Sherry' s haircut and Ashley' s voice. Keeping in mind that suddenly changing the characters eye color wouldn' t be a big deal at all for Capcom (they already made much more drastic changes in the series without bothering to give the beginning of an explanation, hell, in Darkside Chronicles Sherry was blond in CGs and brunette in-game) ...
I never understood that mine stuff, I' ve beaten Vanitas Remnant head on with all three characters. I did beat MF with Terra (lucky, lucky me), but I don' t know anyone who owns the game so no PvP for me. ;_;
Leon, sighting a zombie : "Stay were you are !" Yeah, coz that line worked so well for him in the five outbreaks he went through ! :stupid: On that "it' s so bad it' s good" note : I thought RE6 was gonna drop the RE4-5-Revelations action formula ? Haven' t they learned by now that pasting creepy environments and enemies in a TPS doesn' t make it a survival horror game ? Oh well, I didn' t expect them to get back to the original formula I so desperately crave anyway, at that point I might as well wish to meet the tooth fairy.
Yes, that' s why starting with the Bad ending makes more sense.
Yup. Nope. As I said I managed to sacrifice no one and get the Good Ending first. I' m proud of it because it was quite a challenge, but on the other hand it would make more sense to unlock as many techniques as you can as soon as you can. Challenge or completion ? Your choice. VP2 is a direct sequel to VP1' s A Ending (the tougher ending to get).
You can sacrifice characters to the plume, which turns them into, like, Super Sayans for the rest of the fight but then claims their life. It also allows the other characters to unlocks powerful techniques permanently. Since you can recruit many characters you can remorselessly sacrifice those you didn' t intend to play with anyway. The forks in the story affect who you can recruit, the ending is only affected by the number of characters you sacrificed to the plume.
Story-wise it isn' t great, it only explains why Leneth was amnesic in VP1. Gameplay-wise it' s a T-RPG with a VP fight gameplay. I love both T-RPGs and the VP fight gameplay, so I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Hell, it' s probably my favorite DS game. Covenant Of The Plume is purposefully hard so that you sacrifice many characters to the plume in your first run (which leads to the Bad Ending), then just a few characters in a New Game + (Normal Ending), then none (Good Ending). However I managed to get the Good Ending on my first run (very tough but not impossible). There are several forks in the story so that you don' t feel like playing the same thing thrice.
I love the "I work everyday to defend the Constitution" line on his website.
Also Braig. The question is, were those trailer scenes flashbacks or not ? The website used as a source in the first post of this thread says : It means that Axel, Zexion and Lexaeus have been confirmed to be back in human form, with both their human and nobody memories (not just in flashbacks then), and that Mysterious Figure will appear too.
Ah, okey dokey, my bad. ^^
---------- My name is miaulement (mi-ow-leh-me-oh) ---------- Lolwut ? You know that' s not pronounced that way right ? Each time I see you talk...
Mine would be Ehrgeiz and Musashi: Samurai Legend. I barely started the game (10 hours in) but so far it looks like it' s gonna be my favorite SE game this gen, at least for now (granted SE isn' t exactly at its best this gen so that' s not saying much). It' s not a masterpiece, but it' s far from being terrible. Sure, the graphics aren' t nearly as good as they could be, but there' s some poetic quality to the backgrounds and the musics are awesome. Gameplay-wise it looks ok, nothing mind-blowing but it' s not tedious either. A great game ? Really ? I thought the story was fine (if we ignore the retconing bits that is), but the TPS gameplay was barely ok compared to your average TPS. Let' s not even compare it to Metal Gear Solid. This game would probably have tanked big time if it didn' t have "Final Fantasy" stamped on it. ... ... ... Who just said "3rd Birthday" ? Maybe I should warn you : VP2 is the easiest game in the VP series.
It' s a computer mouse that floats in water! It records memos and plays the American national anthem. It won' t. I discard it immediately and start searching for items that could actually be useful.
The goat-sheep description is frighteningly accurate, even the earth bit fits ... but I know an awful lot of people who were born the same year and they aren' t like me at all.
I found some more info on 01net. http://www.01net.com/editorial/5530...s-sur-les-productions-microsoft-chez-foxconn/ I' ll summarize in English : Foxconn already became infamous worldwide following employee mass suicides in 2010 and 2011, those employees were working on the iPhone and iPad manufacturing lines. Microsoft declared that this recent mass suicide threat was due to "workers placements and transfer politics, not work conditions", which is of course highly doubtful given that Foxconn products have prices amongst the lowest on the planet and super-galactic margins. This suicide trend will probably continue since Foxconn leaders decided to replace their employees with a million robots before 2014. Some of the article commentaries underline the fact that, after jumping at Microsoft, Apple or Foxconn' s throat, we may also wanna take a good look at ourselves in the mirror, wondering how many times we searched the net to find an obsolescently built-in gadget we don' t even need at the cheapest available price.
