Not bad. Pretty smooth looking. It could use a little more effects though. A light source would be nice, that way you can have more contrast. Maybe do a little more with the C4Ds in the backgrouds like a little displacing or ripples. I could totally see this as a nice angelic banner for a forum out there, because after a little sprucing up, this would be much better than some of those other banners people use out there.
Well using the similar things is common in series. If they didnt, then it'd just be a whole new game. Like in Zelda, whenever they have an adventure in Hyrule you'll see the same things as other Hyrulian adventures. They may change slighty but its mostly the same to keep a certain feel constant throughtout. But when they do have adventures in other areas (i.e. Termina, the Great Sea, Holodrum, Labrynna), ememies, landscapes, people, etc.. do change enough so that its different enough from the others. This is pretty much the same for most games.

Same here. Like a shoujo style kind of thing. Or whatever its called. I really like this drawing. It's cute, well drawn, and everything was given careful attention too. The patterns are just lovely, it really makes the clothing look good. The details from the grass to the book just make everything look so natural, like it belongs perfectly in the drawing. I cant wait to see more drawings in the future~
