Well, I' m neither a kid nor cool. I noticed some people managed to get around it so I spammed spaces and empty lines, to no avail.
Thanks, now I' m two microns lower on the stupidity scale.

That guy is really good. I haven' t watched a lot of Zelda fan-cover, but his was easily the best I ever stumbled upon.

It' s not that a father wouldn't be as protective of a child, it' s that he wouldn' t act as impulsively as a mother and would choose a more cold-minded approach to help. Although it is a generalization overall I agree, and although it wouldn' t have been reason enough for me to turn Harry into a woman I didn' t mind it either. Also, the other explanation that Gans gave is that the SH universe is, in many ways, a matriarchy. Though I didn' t notice it myself until I heard him say it, I agree.

That' s the thing. You can' t. A game is a game, a movie is a movie. I guess there was room for Gans to keep closer to the games, but personally I was quite satisfied with his depiction of the town.

The French BluRay has more material than the US version, so maybe you don' t know that :

    - The producers messed with the movie a lot. For instance they insisted to shoehorn the whole Chris Da Silva arch. Gans didn' t want it, it added nothing to the story and the movie rhythm suffered from it.

    - At some point the shooting started to lag behind its planning (thanks Chris). The ending was shot last, Gans thought the producers would concede him a one or two days bonus to wrap everything up, but they didn' t, so he was left with 24 hours to shoot the ending. The initial plan was to have that hole in the ground spew a whole Pyramid Head army rather than barbwire, but Gans only had a single PH actor/costume at his disposal and 24 hours to shoot everything so ... yeah. If I was given 24 hours to imagine and shoot a different ending I' m not sure I would have done any better.

Err ... huh ? I' m not gonna comment the "weird" part cause I don' t know what you mean by that but ... sexist ? Lolwut ?
Being French myself, like Gans, I can tell you this :
    - All the interviews in French featured in the BluRay were very, very poorly translated.
    - Christophe Gans sucks at speaking English, as evidenced by his lousy accent.

As for Revelations that poster is indeed a fake, and I' m glad the movie finally got a release date(it was starting to smell really fishy now that the post-production is over). BTW, MJ Basset talked in depth with Gans to make sure Revelations doesn' t contradict the first movie.

Well, both chronicles skipped half of the original games events and inserted new stuff instead, but they would certainly be much more entertaining to watch. Personally if I had to pick between watching the originals or the chronicles then I' d pick the chronicles.

My own geology lessons barely involved maths. They also barely involved lab experiments. Geology wasn' t my favorite part of biology, but it wasn' t completely boring either.

As for physical geography I didn' t even know what that was, I had to google it up. That' s something I never studied myself, at least not in details. It does look interesting, but it also looks like it could be loaded with maths (it relies on system studies, which are often all about maths) and I' m not sure it would involve more or funnier experiments than geology. This is all speculation though, you' d better wait for a more informed opinion, or better yet find geology 101 and physical geography 101 somewhere to get a glimpse of both.

Nowadays ? Sure, but he was talking about graphics terrible for their time.

FF 7 graphics were so incredible that it took most developers 2 years to catch up to that level. As pretty as they were FFX and FFXIII didn' t exactly put the rest of the industry to shame (graphic-wise) when they were released.

Furthermore FF7 wasn' t just pretty, it used graphic techniques that opened a world of narration and gameplay perspectives. The pre-rendered 2D + 3D + CG combo allowed a lot of things that couldn' t be done in 3D or 2D alone at the time.

Compare for yourself, here' s the FF7 trailer, and two other RPG released the same year in Europe :

All we did since to improve graphics is add more polygons, pixels and filters, which doesn' t exactly open a world of new gameplay possibilities. That' s why even today FF7 easily remains the most impressive graphic leap I ever experienced.[/fanboy rant]

I actually plan to do that soon (for DDD) because though I can' t afford a 3DS right now I know I' ll buy one eventually. I' ve had a hard time finding specific oldies in the past (hell, I can' t even find Re-Coded) and I don' t like buying stuff online, so now when I come across a game I' m really interested in I just buy it immediately.
