I am also in the minority D: I liked this game alot. As far as storylines go, I usually guess most of the storyline and twists in all FF games after 6, so I mostly stopped caring so much in that area. And while I agree that the gameplay is overly praised since it was used in FFXI already, its nice to enjoy it without the monthly subscription. Much better than another turn-based one. The thing I hear alot though is the pointless *****ing about gambits. I could understand if you were forced to put on specific ones, but you arent. They obviously knew that making a gambit for every single possible action would mean that you can auto the game if you collect all the right ones. But being far enough to have that much gambit space means you've fought quite a bit of enemies to collect all those LPs. And seeing as only certain gambits are available in shops and the better ones being in dungeons, you're probably far into it to create a perfectly self-sustaining ally. So you can auto the whole game if you're really that lazy, but you cant do it anywhere near efficient till much later. And I thought the License grid was great since you could try and get more points without constantly moving forward to harder and stronger enemies for those people that are having trouble.

Well the babies look to be at least 1-2 years old, so their bones are sturdy enough for it. And I doubt that they'd have this tradition for so long if it had high risks involved. It looks like they have everything planned out well though, so there isnt really a problem.
