The dragon-girl felt sorry for the boy and a frown crossed her face. “Well I have plenty of food,†she smiled at him. She tried to make the atmosphere lighter and happier now that the violence was over for now. A face of pain appeared as she stood slowly. The pain-killer was wearing off and she clutched the wound with her left hand. Vaughn's jacket slid off of her shoulders and she stumbled a little bit. Her wings drooped to the point where they were practically laying on the ground. She took shallow breaths of air and gasped when the pain would spike.
