I've heard good things about the reviews of the game. The art looks spectacular in it as I haven't played it myself. I thought it was funny, I was walking into a Gamestop before this came out and two clerks were arguing over who would win: Superman or Batman.

Actually, Cloud always has been kind of an emo character. Strong and confident, sure... But he also has had a lot of times of self-doubt and questioning even through Final Fantasy VII. Has it gotten worse since the events of VII? Probably, considering everything that's happened to him, he has a right to be. So it's probably just everything over time wearing on him.

I am going to get this series, I've heard a lot of good things about it. I've also watched playthroughs of it. But it never really held my interest. I do want to get it now since all I have to get is one box for all of them.

You do have to realize that for a long time and maybe even now. The Tween market is a HUGE moneymaker. Justin Bieber and Hanna Montana can spend the rest of their lives in complete luxury and then their children can and maybe grandchildren.

I did a report on the Tween industry for my college. The kids are the huge market right now and Tween's are the biggest. There's clothing stores that just appeal to that market and are booming. The kids have a ton of their parents money and are willing to buy anything they want with their parents buying them stuff if the kids can't afford it. It is going to change as the kids get older and the stars get older, it's probably happening already and that's why they're facing so many problems because the stars are growing older and the tweens are looking for new appeals that Disney doesn't offer.

I was HOPING for this to be shown what formed the Rebel Alliance since I started watching Star Wars. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for this. I'm really looking forward to it.

Wow... It really does sound creepy. He really does have a charisma and strength with conviction and belief he can do it and drag whoever he wants with him.

I would have to say my favorite character of the Final Fantasy series is Vincent Valentine. I just like the aura of mystery about him and his past. He has a bit of everything in it and it's well-written in despite the fact he's an optional character.

I know I got the habit from my boyfriend at the time. He did it for Illusion of Gaia and Super Mario RPG and it was so much fun I started doing it myself. lolz...

I do it for Illusion of Gaia and Legend of Zelda, too. I think it's really fun and makes it more interactive and fun to play the game that way. I know people who do it for their lets plays and it's REALLY fun to watch them talk in different voices. Though one host said at one point it killed his voice to do a high-pitched one for three hours.

I think it depends. I mean, I have seen where there are copycats who follow an example.

For instance, when the Dark Knight Rises shooting happened which was a massive tragedy and got a ton of media attention, there was a guy in my state who was carrying a ton of guns in the trunk of his car and told the cops when he was pulled over that he was seeing the same movie. That's one negative side effect. But at the same time, a tragedy can have something good come out of it like incentive to change laws or even just spur people to help the victims. Boston has millions of dollars coming in nationwide for the bombing to help the victims and their families.

There's also the fact that it might lead to a certain mentality. In the U.S. right now there's a hero mentality. Where you have to go and be the hero. That's great when there's something going on and you can stop it without killing everyone in the process. At the same time, it can lead to you killing a kid in the movie theater who's waving a toy gun around, taking the shooting as an example.

It's how you interpret it and what you do about it on whether it's positive or negative.

    Voice the characters yourselves?

I mean, before Voice Acting became practically a requirement in most games. Did you ever voice over the text yourself just for fun?

I have a lot of the times, especially when my mom is playing with me and she reads slower than I do. I also do it for games like Super Mario RPG because it's really fun to make different voices for all the characters. Does anyone else?

Because I realized last night that I have five years of threads I can look up and post my opinion in. :P

I'm going to try to keep it balanced, but I see it going up rapidly the next few days. Sixty left to go.

The ending was heartbreaking to watch, especially since the game was so grand and beautiful. The music leads you to believe you're doing the right thing though it feels wrong. The fact that the colossus are mostly harmless and you are killing them just for me makes me sick to my stomach. I could never really play the game because of that.

I got hated on for a long time for not liking Halo. I thought it was boring to sit through since I never played it. It was only really the only time that I got hated on for liking or not liking a game.

Hmm... I would have to say from the games I played, and I haven't played Coded and/or DDD, so they won't be listed:

Kingdom Hearts: I just loved how original and fresh it seemed. The gameplay was good, the storyline and characters were fantastic, and all the side stories were interesting and enjoyable for each world. I think it's severely under ranked in the series.

Chain of Memories: I thought the storyline was very good. Instead of most handheld ports, it added a lot to the Kingdom Hearts universe. Namine and memories, hints of Roxas, and of course the Nobodies. The gameplay and the worlds just seemed a bit flat to me though and it got very hard collecting the cards and deck. Riku's was a headache because you were given a fixed deck and it was very hard with the bosses because of it, but it added a lot of strategy and made the game more enjoyable.

Kingdom Hearts II: I didn't mind the button mashing, but it also stopped a lot of strategizing from Kingdom Hearts. Instead of planning and being careful around a boss, all you had to do is mostly press the triangle button when needed. It drew away from me the gameplay to put it in second. That and the fact that there was a damned musical in the hardest world of Kingdom Hearts. The stories for the worlds really held it back also. But the storyline was pretty good and enjoyable, the worlds themselves were fantastic, and it was a great game.

Birth By Sleep: I did admittedly enjoy this game a lot. Aqua's storyline and the fact that she really didn't seem to do as much for the game except being there when I was hoping for a strong female character puts it in this spot. The fact that you got to choose to play three very different people and fighting styles was a huge plus for me along with the storyline. I have to say it's a tie between KHII and BBS.

358/2: I liked the storyline, but it really turned into a forgettable experience for me. I don't really remember much of the game and that is why it's so low on the list.

I heard about it from one of my Internet critics. He actually did a tribute to Siskel and Ebert which Ebert commented on himself that it was one of the best reviews of them he's ever seen. The critic says he still has that quote framed because of how much it affected him as he was just starting out.

I honestly loved Ebert when growing up and used to watch the two every Saturday when I had the chance. I stopped after a while, but I also tried to look up his articles about movies when I was thinking about going to see one. Though my favorite of all time was North. You couldn't pay Ebert a million dollars to like that movie.

I honestly really didn't think much of Kingdom Hearts. I was like: "Eh, a Disney game." And skipped over it a lot in favor of other games at the gaming store.

It was Christmas and I was feeling massively depressed so I bought it with a: "Eh, what the hell." Kind of attitude with no real expectation. When I saw the intro, I knew I was in for a wild ride.

    Halo Books

I have read Fall of Reach and First Strike. They are fantastically written and Eric Nylund is a beautiful author. I especially love reading about the Spartan II program and how it started. I got Ghosts of Onyx, but I really haven't read it yet.

I know what you mean, I joined at the end of season 8 when a friend of mine was like: "Hey, watch this." It was season 8 episode 10. I sat down for the next month and watched Red vs Blue non-stop after that. lolz...

Just the trailer really showed not that much promise. I am hoping it's not the "intro" to the season as Roosterteeth is so fond of doing, because they have had a tendency recently to do a lot of events that are behind the scenes and explain it vaguely afterwards. Hence the reason I don't like 10 mostly because they skipped everything I really looked forward to in Freelancer since season 6.

The fact that it's the same writers as 10 is alarming also, so I go into the series with trepidation this season, which I never had before. I am hoping I'm wrong.

I apologize, and I understand why you sound like you do. I can't imagine how you felt during the tornado and I'm glad you're okay.

I guess I've been watching Twister too much to realize that there's not a lot of shelters as it seemed. I also know housing can be expensive and I feel bad for the families who end up worse in these situations because of it. I hope I didn't sound judgmental because of it. Sorry if I did, I didn't mean to. I hope they'll be okay.

I would have to say Halo. I have watched the CoD series being played. I did enjoy it admittedly, even more than Halo for a while even.

But then I actually played Halo and realized what it was fully like. The story is fantastic, the characters are riveting and the gameplay is pretty good. I know it's not as "innovative" as people like Halo 2 to say, but I think honestly Halo 2 did more than dual-wielding, it brought a fantastic story to a FPS, it probably has been done in the past, but for me, Halo 2 was the first FPS to actually get me fully interested in the storyline and the story behind an FPS, about the Spartan's and their training. And I still love Halo because of it.
