well this is my first story and I just wanted to see how good it was...or bad whichever so please reply and I know that it may have some spelling errors too, sorry A Story That I Have Yet To Give A Name Beep……beep….beep…beep..beep.beep.beep. Emmet muttered something and sat up. When his head connected with the bottom of the top bunk he groaned and fell back on the bed. “Don’t hurt yourself. I’ll get it,†said a voice from the top. Emmet just nodded sleepily. He pushed his light brown hair out of his face and blink a couple times. Suddenly a girl fell onto his bed. He jumped a little, but was careful not to hit his head again. The girl grinned. “Not funny Julie,†he said. Ignoring him, Julie jumped from the bottom bunk to the bean bag and stopped the, now furiously beeping, clock. She sat down on the bean bag and flipped on the T.V. Confused, Emmet asked,†What are you doing?†“I refuse to let you be late for school again,†she replied calmly,†Now get up.†She stood up and, leaving the T.V. on and the door wide open, walked out and into the bathroom. When his sister had left Emmet sat up, carefully, and got out off bed. Popping his knuckles, he stuck his tongue out at the shut bathroom door. The light switch clicked as he flipped it on. Instinctively he squinted his dark blue eyes and walked to the dresser and the mirror. When he looked into the mirror he saw a ten year old boy staring back at him. The boy was well built and good looking. He wasn’t too short but you couldn’t say he was tall either. He had light brown hair and dark blue, almost purple, eyes. He was brought out of his daze by the bathroom door opening. “Come on, quit staring at yourself and get ready,†said his sister. He grumbled and walked into the bathroom. She sighed and turned to the mirror, herself. Staring back at HER was an athletic, pretty ten year old girl. She had beautiful black hair and crystal blue eyes. Quickly picking up a brush, she smoothed out her hair and proceeded downstairs. “Hi, mom,†she greeted her mother before sitting at the table. There was a small bowl of cereal, a banana, and a glass of orange juice in front of her. She picked up the banana and peeled it before taking a bite. Emmet came down the stairs yawning loudly. He sat down across from Julie and took a bite of his cereal. Their mom smiled at them both. “Well, your first day of 5th grade huh? Are you excited?†she asked. Emmet sighed,†Mom, we have this talk every new school year.†Julie gave him a look and then turned to her mom. “Nothing really ever happens on the first day anyway.†“Well be careful and-†She was interrupted by the sound of a horn. Immediately she went to go get their bags and handed them to them. “Bye, I love you.†They rolled their eyes and said in unison,†We love you too.†When Emmet opened the door a blast of cold air hit them like a brick wall and Julie shivered. Emmet grabbed her hand and walked to the bus. He let Julie get on first then climbed on himself. The bus was crowded and it didn’t help anything that when Emmet and Julie got on the bus everyone turned to stare at them. Self-consciously, Julie walked to the back and sat down with Emmet. She settled in for the long bus ride. well there it is, hope you like it
