THREE YEARS? TOO OLD. Yes I realize this will be taken out of context
PARAGRAPHS ARE HIS BLOOD AND SEMICOLONS ARE HIS KIDNEYS METAPHORS ARE HIS PANCREAS AND STORY ARC IS HIS LEFT TESTICLEs
Wait Am I the only active crude comedian? T-T
I read the rules. Therefore I am nobody. Why would you say that to me ;-;
New people who should be reading the already updated rules just like we did before that announcement was up there.
Why is that still up there oh my god
I would retaliate but it's 9:30 and I'm tired and this isn't the debate corner so I'm not reading all of that.
It was epic and not lolwut because absolutely nobody saw it coming.
Beat me to it.
It is not brainwashing. As time moves on, the morals and values of general society WILL change. Every worldly is finite; nothing is going to last forever. Your argument is based entirely around the idea that it is possible for any object of this universe, physical or otherwise, to last for forever.
SPOILERS Susan Boyle and Snoop Dogg are actually the same person.
That was quick. xD
I know and it makes me sadfaec :c
IT IS A GAME THREAD, PLAY IT a
I demand an explanation.
Light was a good person and that's just it. He used the death note for all the global benefit rather than personal gain that he could (which is already a far stretch beyond the goodwill of most of the world), but he was only human. What he did benefited the world, but absolute power corrupts absolutely. There is, unfortunately, no exception to this. So rather than focus on the person, look at what he did. Look at the effect that it had. The detectives themselves admitted that the world had become a better place due to what he did, and in the last book, Spoiler they refer to how much the world looks like **** compared to when Kira was still around, and how it's "just like it was before".
I have no problems with the first part of this post. The second part is what bothers me. Death Note DOES have the dark and disturbed mind, all throughout death note rather than in any one given person. Hitler acknowledged many times that what he was doing was wrong, and he didn't hate criminals but he just was a sick person with a hatred that no one else can comprenend. Not all Jews and homosexuals are "unneeded meaning criminals". This statement you made also implies that if there are unneeded criminals there are also needed criminals. And who are you to say that Light's sense of justice was wrong? In the time up to Near's appearance, the crime rate dropped by 400%. What Light was doing was working. Why would you say he was wrong in doing so? God knows that he was doing the best thing he could with the power he was given, and that he was at leasst trying (a far cry from what I see anybody *****ing about his ethics doing). The Death Note series should have ended as it did in the original 12 manga volumes. Death Note is not supposed to be emotional. It is not supposed to have a happy ending for everyone. There is not meant to be a light at the end of this proverbial tunnel. Light was not supposed to get a happy ending because he lost. And it was most certainly NOT supposed to be arbitrarily extended on with some stupid **** as a life eraser that brings people back to life when you take them out of the death note. Not only does that put a number of plot holes in the original death note series, it is stupid and it makes a sellout of what death note was. What Takeshi Obata did with the original mangas worked perfectly, but "fans" wouldn't stop requesting that he make a Life Note series (WHAAAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN), which is why he made the stupid addition that he did in volume 13. This is why we can't have nice things.
Can I come I'll bring soda
I changed it. :B
