The job I had until just a few weeks ago was great not because I liked the work or had a good attitude about it, but because I was working for a good company that cares about its employees just as much as its customers as well the fact that my boss and coworkers had a decent amount of respect for my attitude of, "Go to work, clock in, do work, clock out, go home, repeat." From what I've seen, Gamestop leaves the "caring about its employees" to the store level and you'll be pretty lucky if you get hired at a store run by someone who really and truly cares about his team after all he's had to put up with on the corporate level.
