"Yeah," Roxas replied with a small nod of his own. He just wanted to find Smith, defeat him, and then come back to Namine. He was the last problem in their lives, and once he was gone, they could go back to being happy again...or at least, that's what he hoped.
Well, that's not epic at all. xD
Roxas saw Sora stand up, and he turned his eyes to his friend's girlfriend still sitting on the couch. "Thanks for breakfast, Kairi," he said. Surely he was going to run on more energy because of it, even though she knew she didn't have to fix them anything. Kairi nodded with a small smile, her eyes on Roxas before they turned to Riku. She saw his smirk and silently scolded him with her eyes, but then she looked at her boyfriend. She fiddled with the sleeve of her shirt that touched her palm, the girl hoping he would come back today unscathed but victorious.
8D That's epiccc.
Kairi kept her eyes on Sora, the feeling of his hand lingering on her cheek even if he pulled away. After a minute though, her gaze fell on the doorway, and who was standing in it. "Hope I'm not interrupting," Riku said, crossing his arms as he smirked slightly. He just got in the doorway, so he only caught Sora moving back. Of course, he knew what was going on, which caused his smirk. "But you two need to get moving." As he said his last sentence, he glanced to his side, seeing Roxas stop next to him and look at him before his sight fell on Sora. Roxas nodded once as he looked at Sora. As much as he hated to admit it, they had used up enough time here; they needed to track down Smith again today. He wanted to find him quickly and destroy him before he could do anything to hurt Namine. That was his main goal, though he knew she was protected in Riku's hands.
...What? =)
Kairi felt herself smile, opening her eyes to gaze at the boy in front of her. "I love you too," she said back. She caught herself before she said, Please be careful, not wanting to ruin the moment around them with talk like that. She knew he would be; Sora always was. He would come back to her once this was all settled, just like he promised.
Yeah, exactly. xD
Kairi exhaled softly, her eyes staying closed. She felt Sora's touch on her cheek and she just wanted it to stay there, not wanting him to leave. If she had the choice, she would be by his side every day, without the interference of Heartless and Nobodies, or people from the Realm of Darkness like Smith. Kairi just wanted it to be her and Sora forever, along with her friends and a life of peace. However, she knew that wasn't possible; reality was never that way.
I was trying to get 10 characters. xD
Kairi felt her heart grow warm as she kissed the boy she loved, knowing that was one of the reasons her heart felt so pure. It wasn't just her Light inside her; Sora was one of the reasons she was who she was. He loved her, and she loved him equally, if not more. That was all she could ask for.
Yeah... xDD
Kairi's eyes fell shut at the kiss, though she didn't hesitate returning it. It didn't surprise her, even if she didn't know why; she guessed she wanted it too, but never really acknowledged it. Regardless, she was happy for the moment between them before Sora left.
xDD You know what's good? I'm starting to feel better now that I'm out of bed...
Kairi looked up at the touch, her eyes curious now. "Yes?" she replied gently, wondering what it was that Sora wanted to say to her. She couldn't think of anything, which only made her want to know more.
Yay, awesome, and sweet! :3
Kairi's smile fell at the words, her eyes gazing into Sora's for a second before they lowered. "Okay," she replied, tucking some of her hair behind her ear, even though her bangs fell right back in her eyes. She tried not to act too uncomfortable with the reality of this situation, but it was proving harder than she thought.
So what chapter you on in your fic, what book did you read, and what movie did you watch? xD
Kairi knew instantly what Sora meant by "earlier", a small smile coming to her face as she gazed at him. She hadn't actually played with his hair since before he left for his last mission, which was quite a few months ago. They still had a lot of old habits to pick up after getting back together, though she wished they never had to get back together at all; she shouldn't have lost faith in him so suddenly.
Aww, coolio. :3
