Mellody laughed as well, surprised at how good a friend she had found, and having the first good time in a long while.
"yeah..." Mellody sighed. "Then, i'll tackle him down adn you force-feed!"
"Threatening ain't enough..." Mellody persisted. "Actually force him to... and speaking of the bullet... how are you handling the stitches?"
"You know, before you came back i almost had him eating again..." Mellody explained. "He takes advantage of you dear, and you gotta start hitting back... even if you don't want to hurt him, this will help him survive in the long run..."
Mellody's sweet smile turned into a evil grin. "Honey when nohing else works, force takes the cake."
Mellody smiled sweetly at her. "Dear... if i'm right it's just how little care he takes of his body right? well if that's the case maybe we can help him get better?"
Mellody opened her mouth slightly as she realised what she had bought up again. "oh... sorry L... i didn't meant it like that!"
"Which is why you should tell hjim how you feel!" Mellodystarted ahppy for a change of topic.
Mellody smiled. "I just really miss having company i guess... and no offense to Near but he's not good company..."
Mellody sighed. "It's just strange..." She explained.
"Yeah..." Mellody nodded, obviously not fine but trying to avoid it anyway.
"Yeah..." Mellody sighed. "Well... i know i've already asked and all but you sure you don't want a drink?"
Mellody shrugged. "Can't help there..."
Mellody smiled at her. "You're not pathetic, a little too emotional but not pathetic..."
Mellody shrugged smling back at her. "You know it's strange... before this afternoon i would've laughed at you for that but now..."
"well then i won't strt." Mellody smiled. "I guess that can be Near's special nickname for you... I'll just call you L..."
"ok" MMellody smiled. "Well, i guess that means i have to get used to calling you 'L' huh?"
Mellody smiled. "Mellody is just my alias... hell if you want, you can call me MOnique so lon as we're not in public."
Mellody shrugged. "That i can't tell you sorry... though, if only to make things fair my real name is..." Mellody started. "Monique Jones..."
"Right..." L muttered walking outside of her room.
