Yeah, Olga was reaaaally sexy with her unshaved armpits. Can' t help thinking about all the gay stuff going on in PeaceWalker.
    "Oh Sssnake ! <3"
    Snake, get it ?

Men are systematically perceived as cool but women are systematically perceived as sexy ? How does that even work ? I' ll tell you how : the guy who wrote this is hetero, that' s how. That kind of comment gives us more insight about his psyche than about anything else. Reminds me of the "Frozen turns people gay" bullshit.

Chun Li' s just a pair of thighs but Zangief' s cool ? Ever heard of the gay bear community ?

Male teenagers get a boner from watching the linoleum. Trust me, they don' t need any training to sexualize people.

Remember topless Sora in Atlantica ? Well, more like naked Sora really, proudly swinging his fish parts around. *shivers*

Totally lol. I think that one is DLC. She should wield one of those radioactive pink vomit swords, makes everything better.

Personally I don' t care one bit about Lightning' s outfits being skimpy, I just find a lot of them fugly. She does have incredibly silly lines but whatever, as long as the game is fun I don' t really care.

Aya Brea was created long before Lightning. One gratuitous shower scene aside, she wasn' t pimped up in PE1&2.

Her torn up clothes in 3rdB made zero sense considering she was just a consciousness jumping from one body to another. Her basic outfit was all torn up to begin with anyway, even when you "repaired" it.

She also acted like a total doormat in 3rd birthday, which is highly uncharacteristic, but then plot twist ! Aya' s body was parasited by her adopted daughter' s consciousness all along.

Anyway, we owe that travesty to Hajime Tabata, not Toriyama.

I picked my garbs and weapons purely for their stats and abilities, so far I' ve looked effin ridiculous 99% of the time. One of my usual garbs is an evening dress that comes with high heels, looks like the most impractical thing ever. The other has more holes than a pasta drainer, lets me glimpse boobs whether I want it or not.

But yeah, garb-age palooza aside I' m not sure what makes XIII more of a cliché storm than any other FF.

Not really, no. But I do remember having a good fright when I was a kid. I was going to my room upstairs, knowing for a fact the rest of the familly was still downstairs. I hadn' t lit the stairs so when I reached my room I could barely see where I was going. I opened the door ... and saw a woman staring at me from the shadows.

You' d think I' d scream and run or something but nope, I just stood there, kinda paralized. When I eventually regained control I tried to find the light switch, my eyes still riveted at the intruder. Turns out it was a stupid hairdress doll, my sister left it hanging from the upper bed with a gown around its shoulders.

I forgot to mention it, but I was lucky enough to be raised in a society, and a family, where being atheist is a non-issue. It was no coming out at all for me.

Even if you do manage to reconcile your faith with your homosexuality, being accepted by your religious community might be a tougher nut to crack. You might want to refrain from coming out to your parents as long as you' re financially dependant if you know them to be highly opiniated on the subject.

If it was me I' d put the topic on the table, with my parents and at sunday school, see where that gets me. Wait for the topic to be brought up on the news or something if you don' t want to raise red flags. Beforehand I' d make sure I' m ready to counter the points they' re bound to raise.

My question to you would be, did the Mormon god ever bothered to explain why being gay is bad ? If it' s just "well he said it was" then screw that. If you can' t think of any good reason why it' s bad and he can' t be bothered to explain why it' s bad ... well then there' s no good reason to follow that particular command, is there ?

I' m almost completely unfamiliar with Mormon beliefs, I mostly know about the catholics beliefs but hopefully they' re close enough that what I' ll say will get through.

I' ve called myself a Christian up until I was, idk, 17 or 18. If I' m honest I never truly believed in god, the idea seemed as fishy as Santa to me from starters, but I did give him a try. The more I grew up the more inquisitive I became, I' m not the type who takes anything on faith. I need an explanation, and it better be darn good. Problem was the more I tried to make sense of religion the more ludicrous it seemed. Yet I was still hesitant to send it all to the bin. See, what if there really was a hell ?

Eventually I figured out that if there was a god and he was mad at me for being intellectually honest with myself then that god was a dick. That was the first crack in the wall, the begining of the process that made me a full-fledged atheist.

    Happiness

I saw two sociological studies on happiness recently. It seems indeed that poorer societies are happier, but I don' t think it' s because of their low income per say. I' m pretty sure I' d be thoroughly bored out of my mind if I was to live with those monks.

The second study established that the less you lie about who you are the happier you' ll be. You' re gay ? Don' t be in the closet. You' re an atheist ? Don' t pretend you believe in god. You get the picture. I get the feeling people are happier in poorer societies simply because those tend to be less repressive. In short, be you, whoever that is. Probably easier said than done though ...

    Babies

It' s the opposite that would be strange actually. We' re biologically driven to want it. I didn' t wait college to give it a thought.

There' s no hurry though, youth doesn' t last forever so enjoy it while you can. Besides, having a baby tends to put a strain on your relationship so you might want to make sure (s)he' s the one first.

Who wants to leave Fork ever ?
Who dares to love forever ?
    When love must die.

But touch my tears with your lips.
Touch my world with your fingertips.
    And we can love forever.
    And we can have forever.
    Foreeeeeeeeever is our today.

It was supposed to be a spin-of at first. But then FF XII and XIII were already increasingly leaving the strictly turn-based format. The fact that they rebranded Versus as FF XV makes me think the series is leaving turn-based for good.

Square never fully trusted turn-based could be a thing in the west. For years they' ve made a bunch of A-RPG in the hopes it would ease us into actual RPGs. The Mana series for instance. To their utter amazement, it worked ! FF7 sold 10 million copies worldwide and the series as a whole became one of the biggest shoes around. However many players complained about turn-based being a turn off.

Turn-based still sells truckloads nowadays, but not nearly as much as FF7 did, I assume that' s why they caved in. They dream of reaching the summit again so they' ll cater to any popular request.
