Friend of mine is the same way. I keep on pointing out all the **** that is screwing a lot of people over and he's like: "Meh, doesn't affect me." I gave up trying to understand him. Though I've sent messages to my friends letting them know what the hell is happening. It's downright shocking, also got a thank you for the link from someone who's served for 20 years, that made my week. I really hope this sinks MS.
They kinda are... I have two friends who work in the military and they both have terrible connections. One's in the Navy and is working to be on a sub, and the other was in Afghanistan and had terrible Internet connection. They use the 360 as down time to relax between their duties and they say it helps. Especially from the comments that are coming right now from this interview. And the Navy between shifts on a sub is painfully long. Now Microsoft is saying that they have to suck it up because they can't control the environment they're in because of the war that they're helping the U.S. fight.

I saw that... VGA did it as their first few minutes of the conference. That was great... Even if they didn't do that, I'd still be buying the PS4, and especially after the dig they did on the military later.
Oh yeah, Google Don Mattrick, the press finally got their hands on it. MS is boned... And apparently this guy is their PRESIDENT of this branch. Dear Lord Microsoft, Dear ****ing lord.

Apparently there's a stir going on in Youtube. Someone posted their thoughts about the shorter version which talks just his comments about getting a 360 if you have no Internet and it was removed. The video poster was confused why because he said nothing really that broke Youtube's rules. Thanks for posting this, I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise and I'm trying to tell others about it. =3 MS are idiots, btw..

Backwards compatibility though it's not a system seller for me... Is something I REALLY like. I don't have much space and knowing I can pop in an old game at any time in my new console saves a lot of space for me overall. I hate how everyone says it's something that shouldn't be included anymore.
I know that MS is trying to get this removed, or at least trying to hide the backlash. SpikeTV had it removed when MS asked them to. I hope it stays up, I'm trying to spread the word myself. I think such a slap in the face deserves all the bad press it can get.

I know one of my Xbox supports is going to hit the roof about this. He's a Navy person. They didn't just say that. No, ****ing way. And he just said that if you don't have a good Internet connection, to stay with the 360. Dude......... You're killing me.
If it wasn't for the DRM, I still wouldn't get it. I live in a country area. North of where I live there's barely any Internet, and I don't have space for a Kinect. Basically, there's no way I could USE the system. But I'm sure they'd get more fans than they have now.

Yeah, I heard that a lot recently... About MS and Apple. Maybe because Apple is so popular, but there's other reasons to that and it sure as hell ain't a gaming system reason. I heard halfway through the show a lot of people were saying they won.
This is how I pictured it went when they were making the Press conference show: Sony: How do we beat MS this year in E3? Employee: We focus on the games and lights and montages? Spending money on what matters instead of trying to stop the competition from beating us? Oh yeah, and make sure everyone knows we're not doing what MS is. Sony: You just got promoted. Wow, I just saw the moment when he said: "It's your game, you can do whatever you want with it." The place is going nuts.
Wow, Europe's reaction to 499 Euros is nasty. Can't blame them, though... 660 bucks, maybe that's their strategy. Oh yeah, watching the Microsoft conference. Wow, they had a lot of glitches going on during it. That's pretty bad. But it's okay overall, if it wasn't for the price and restrictions. I might have bought it.
