The last bounced email we've received from your account is from July, which makes it sound as though your email provider is blocking our mail server for whatever reason. I've sent you a test email through the ACP, but if my conclusion is right, mileage often varies on getting email providers to remove blocks and you'd probably be better off switching to gmail or some other provider.
Likewise. To do something like this would need a really compelling reason; I'm not of the mind that we should ever limit guest viewing. I don't really care if people "steal" suggestions, since they're hardly exclusive to this site, and there's a lot of important information in here that could help guests browse the site.
You're lucky then. I guess something about popcorn just makes people miss the toilet, but the messes I've seen really have to be intentional...
This is true. People **** on the floor a lot and someone has to clean it.
I don't really know, my sister is an accountant and she and my mom do their thing together do idrk. My grandparents do my taxes up until I'm 21 because technically I have a trust fund It's complicated I'm not super private about money things, I understand why other people are of course.
Oh yeah see I'm always claimed as a dependent, that affects things, but my mom then gets a larger return.
Oh yeah, if you're not maxing out at least one semester here you'll never finish in time. At least one, and that's on top of taking a winter class or two. Most of the people I've spoken to graduate after their fifth semester. It's not entirely the school's fault of course, since it's community college most people have part or full time jobs that take time away from school, they take time off, etc. But finishing in two years doesn't happen for most. I took it easy and didn't max out my semesters (I think I took six classes one semester and it was rough); I ultimately did go for five semesters, but my last was only two classes. I also had two APs that transferred from high school which helped me out, though. And one that went totally unused. I don't mind so much though, since I didn't max out some semesters I left room to take classes that I wasn't required to take but still interested in, and taking this semester off lets me save money to move out (pretty much mandatory to transfer) and take my sister with me. All's well that ends well.
I was never interviewed for my job, I applied and two days later my boss called and asked if I could come in the next day. If you do get the job, though, I guess it depends on what position you're in / what the setup of the theater is -- since we're a small independent theater we don't really have set positions for people, so the most important thing when someone new is starting is for them to keep busy. In the downtime between movies, sweep the lobby, stock the stand, clean the counters, that sort of thing, even if everyone else is just standing around.
I can only dream of such a return :(
The people who have been going to advisers for several semesters never finish in less than three years for a two year degree. I finished in 2.5 years so part of it is just that it's hard when you don't take summer or winter classes but you're right, they give no heads up. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was intentional. I also lost a scholarship because of an adviser.
I've pretty staunchly remained on Firefox for... years. I use Chrome on my phone though, weirdly. I'm not sure any browser will make me jump ship from Firefox but from the perspective of developing KHV, I'll be so happy to bury IE in the ground where it belongs. Windows 8 is great though, give the new features a chance for a while before you try to replace them with start menu apps etc. -- they'll grow on you! (Reuploaded the gif to imgur for you, it was displaying as a broken image for me -- hope you don't mind!) Parks & Rec has also done some neat things like this in their current season, since it takes place in 2017 (obviously not to the extent of Iron Man lol). This kind of augmented reality is cool, even if I don't think I really have a use for it. Virtual reality terrifies me though haha
Oh yeah then you have the more expensive one.
Yeah, I'm a little bummed that it doesn't include the black water but I prefer the statue in the one I have.
I've imposed an online shopping ban on myself until my $80 preorder for The Order 1886 is cashed. Unless they're essentials, of course. Like some essential new shoes...
I've known about this for a while -- I'd be disappointed if my faith in America wasn't already in the toilet. Absolute bullshit, the state trial was a farce and the man is clearly guilty of murder. My only consolation is that he's resigned from the police... but unfortunately, too many killer cops on the force. Everyone please keep Ferguson in your thoughts, as the protests are on-going, and pay respect to the many innocent lives lost to police brutality, before and after Mike Brown.
Luno by Bloc Party Come back to me the way you were, the way you were when we were young. I'm trying to tell you everything, I'm trying to tell you everything. I can heal the blind, I can cure the sick, I can say the right things, I can say the right things. Where'd you get so cruel? Where do you go, 'cause you're never here?
An unforgivably late podcast, just for you! This week @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn are joined by staff guest @Karuta to discuss Microsoft's recent keynote that featured Windows 10, their newest operating system! If you're interested in mythology, I've read some pretty awesome creation myths that I really recommend: the Yoruba Tribe, the Hopi, and of course the Enuma Elish. Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Norse mythology are popular for good reason, but there's heaps out there.
