For those who have been following Dream Drop Distance lore, Dream Eaters can be both helpful and malevolent, and Sora and Riku will be able to utilize the abilities of the "Spirit" Dream Eaters in battle, via Link Attacks. It appears that one variety will actually allow Sora and Riku to temporarily grow long claws from their hands! Kind of reminds you of that original concept art for Sora, doesn't it? Amidst all the exciting Dream Drop Distance news, we get this gem from IGN: You can read the full article by clicking here. IGN brings up some valid points in their article, citing how the story has become over complicated, the Disney worlds can get dull, and being scattered all over the console & handheld market has not helped the series at all. Still, I think they're a bit critical, personally--the Disney worlds are also a nice throwback to many of our childhoods, and the story can make sense if you pay attention. But what do you guys think? Has the Kingdom Hearts series been waning over the years, or is it continuing as strong as ever? Let us know your thoughts! Well, not really. Basically, I share a room with my sister. I often stay up into all hours of the night on my computer (I have a desktop, for the record), which she is fine with, but she has mentioned that the sound of me typing bothers her. So I'm on the hunt for a quiet keyboard. Right now I'm using the stock HP keyboard that came with my computer, it works just fine, so I'll probably keep it as a backup in case any keyboards in the house break. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I would like it to be nice looking but I am willing to make some sacrifices there if I have to. I do like chiclet style keyboards personally, but I'm willing to go for regular keys as long as they are not too tall. I prefer wired keyboards. USB is a must as my computer lacks a PS/2 port. Function keys aren't important to me, but I do want a numpad. Built in USB ports would be pretty snazzy but not at all necessary. Price-wise, I'd rather not go too high, but if I have to I have. Recommend away~ Edit: Oh, and plz no ergonomic ones. Edit 2: Also, I use Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10.

Got some new news on Dream Drop Distance for you all! Firstly, two weeks ago Mike speculated about whether or not Epcar (the voice of Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep) would reprise his role for Dream Drop Distance, given some of his offhand comments on Facebook. Epcar has at last released an official statement saying that he will indeed be returning! You can check out his Facebook post by clicking here. Next up, some scans from a recent issue of Famitsu have surfaced, thanks to KH13 member ArikaMiz. You can check them out here. Neku will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and over the comments in one of his YouTube videos, it looks like Corti may be returning to do the voice! As some of you know, a few weeks ago we ran our first ever User Survey. The survey closed last Monday (the 16th), and some expressed interest in viewing the results. Hey everyone! Hope you're enjoying your Tuesday. Our Audio Archive just got a really nice update, courtesy of iwantedtoexplode! It now hosts a variety of audio rips from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, including in-game dialogue (all in English), sound effects, battle cries, etc. It's a pretty extensive collection, and certainly a great addition to our archive. Our six-year anniversary was just recently, and we tried to do a lot to make it a really special time of the year. As a wrap-up of sorts to the last year, and a way to open this next year--which we hope will be one of the most exciting & prosperous on KH-Vids yet--we'd like to hear your input! We want to know what kind of events and competitions you've enjoyed and how you think they could be improved, what features you like best on the site, what we should work harder on, and more.
