Dunno, you may have a point. I always thought there was an exception with these three. Who knows? You might be on to something, and that what probably hints us with the Birth By Sleep title.
I used to read them, I finished the series, but it's a littletoo jump around and way too many characters. The accent can get confusing too, but still a good book. I liked the Marlfox and Mossflower stories.

Hmmmm... I had a similar problem, I eventually told myself that it wouldn't work, even though as if everything looked perfect. It's a very hard thing to get over, to this day I look back on it and say, "Wow, I'm sure glad I got over her." but the point is, give it some time, hopefully you'll find somebody else. :D
