This is pretty old but I'll show you guys my fondant cakes. I hate the hell out of them. >_> They were both last minute. I worked on them for less than a day. Spoiler: Nephew birthday cake All of the figure (minus the Mario and the side candies) were made from fondant. It was a regular yellow cake I believe filled with whipped frosting and strawberries and topped with a marshmallow fondant made by scratch. Spoiler: Sisters friends cake Basically the same except it was chocolate cake, the icing was butter cream, and I shaped it a bit.
