She carried her draw-stringed backpack and walked casually by Dereks side who was wearing his normal attire. Black jeans, a Jack Skellington shirt and a black and red unbottoned plaid shirt flowing weakly in the light breeze. "Feeling uncomfortable?" Veronica quietly asked. Derek turned his head towards Veronica. "No, I'm fine." He mumbled. As they approached the school, they both inhaled deeply. They weren't used to other people out side of their home town, which they had to abruptly leave from. They ascended the front stairs into the building.
