Excuse me? An obsession? Don't you have anything in your life that's important to you? I'm not obsessed over or about Peter. Sir James M. Barrie wrote a wonderful story and I happen to take it to heart. Like I said before, I know most people can't understand how or why Peter Pan is so dear to me, but I still feel a tad insulted when someone calls it an obsession. Anyway, I thank you for your compliments. I worked long and hard to get this melody right and the place that you quoted is just where the song gets a little slower and there are a couple of rests. It makes more sense when you hear it sung. It was a bit of a challenge to come with proper rhymes (since nearly every song I write does not rhyme), but I think I did a fair job on it (yeah, I used some slant rhymes).
Thank you. I'm glad someone could feel the connection. I sang this for some of my friends today, right before our choir class, and one of them cried. I guess she could feel the connection too.
OOC: But then you won't have much to do! D: Does j00 want David or William? (Pssst! Take David!)
"Dear Peter" I wrote this last night when I was feeling pretty down. Peter Pan has always been a very important part of my life. He means more to me than most people can understand. Anyway, there are these two stars outside my window that I can see clearly almost every night -- they're only blocked by really thick clouds. They shine so brightly and are so close, that I swear they could be the path to Neverland. I was looking for them last night and couldn't find them (because of the cloud cover), then the idea for this song came into my head and I scribbled it down fast as I could. It's short, but I love it. Without further delay here is my latest song, "Dear Peter." I don't want to grow up now I don't want to be the brave one I want to stay like this somehow I just want to have fun I must confess I have grown up But I see how much it means To admire the little stuff Like a fairy's tiny gleam And Peter, dear Peter I want to fly with you Fight pirates like you, too I want to fly with you Do all the Lost Boys do I don't want to grow up I want to fly with you
Why is it whenever you're on, there is crud-galore going on in my life?
There's not much anyone can do. I'm just trying to deal with this girl the best I can. But today she came to me and threatened to get the police...
There has been more crap going on in my life than in a toilet in the course of a million years.
If I said good would you believe me?
OOC: I was on tour with my choir the last few days (we were at DISNEYLAND!) There's A LOT of stuff going on in my life right now (I'll post as soon as I can). See you soon!
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif Not as good as the book, but still funny and enjoyable.
I think you're right. She probably said "mom" and not "grandmom." ^^' I also liked J. Michael as Scar. He definitely was different, but he was good. He creeped me out! (I'm a fan of his, and I think this role has gone to his top five.) I'd love it if Scott McNeil and Chris Patton came back for their roles. =D I'm really interested to see if someone else takes the roles. I like to see different peoples' interpretations of characters. (Like Maxey instead of Aaron as Al.)
I heard it from Caitlin herself. It was a trivia question at a panel to win a little prize. I remember 'cause I got it wrong. xD
Awesome! (Oh, I'm still working on the OC by the way.) I do know one person who'd love to be a part of this. I'll send them a PM right now. (I'll do Tamaki in Goldenrod.)
Awesome! Now I won't have to write them down myself! XD There's just one thing I noticed: On the "returning voice actors" list, Pinako was actually played by Caitlin Glass in the first anime. If I remember correctly (its been forever since I've read the manga) Cornello did go all wacko like that. I'd look back at the books, but I'm too lazy. (lol) I can't wait for them to get to Tucker and Nina next week. I'm dying to see if they got the same VA for Tucker. (I got to meet him!)
Woo! I loved the second episode. I know I've seen them all before, but seeing them in English is a blast. I really liked what they did with the Truth (and having Luci Christian play he/she/it was awesome). I know that they cram a lot at the begining but that's so that they can fit more in to other episodes later on (and, boy, does it get GOOD).
Ooh! Can I have Tamaki? (He's my third favorite; twins come first!) I might make an OC later (I don't have the time right now because I'm actually in a class. lol) Shall we color code the characters? Oh, and noticed in the little bio you put up for the twins that you got their age wrong (they're 15). =) "See you soon!"
I LOVE the Peter Pan one. It just has this quality about it... I don't know; it just reeks of awesome. lol Good job with the others. My second favorite is Sora and Roxas.
I can see where you're coming from. For people who haven't watched the first anime or read the manga, it could be confusing; but actually, most animes start out that way (Black Cat, D. N. Angel, etc.). The Ice Alchemist actually is an important character. You may not see him again, but what he was doing is a big part of the plot. I liked Maxey as well. There were a couple of lines were I swore it was Aaron. xD
I know!!! :D It's gonna be great!
Black Cat I loved the characters, but the actual plot wasn't all that great. Probably because it wasn't developed very much.
